They have sweet treats as well.

First time here in more than a decade. It was cleaner than I remember and the man behind the counter was nice and helpful. I found the menu had a lot to choose from and the prices were relatively reasonable. I got the red snapper lunch special. For around $12.00, I got three pieces of fish, fries and a side. I chose the hush puppies. I was pleasantly surprised at how well I enjoyed the food. I'm just intrigued enough to return and try some different menu items.

I was told by my neighbor to try the Fishery & More in Pasadena on Lake & Mountain. I wasn't sure what to order because I was told that she tried several items on the menu and she enjoyed all of them. I decided to order from the Sunday Brunch Menu!!!!! All I can say is the Shrimp & Grits were "Delicious" and the Lemon Pepper Chicken so "Yummy" Everything was Hot, Fresh and just right... Brunch on Sunday ; ) You'll thank me later. Customer Service, Vibe was 100%

My family and I have been going to the fishery for decades; since I was a child. We would order Large Box of Fried Sole. I have to say under new ownership we tried twice and we are not coming back. It's unfortunate because we really love the flavor but the sole fish is SUPER THIN. There's no meat and the price is $37.00! Come on now. I hope they change this so we can continue supporting our local restaurant.

Red snapper sandwich. This was the Wednesday special.

First time trying this spot. I was in the area and wanted to support a local business--the photos on Yelp looked great, so I came in with high hopes. I ordered the fried fish, expecting something savory and well-seasoned, but it fell short. The breading looked promising, yet after the first bite it just wasn't hitting. The flavor wasn't there--honestly, the fries had more seasoning than the fish. I really wanted to like it, and I hope this feedback helps them improve, because the presentation did have potential. One other note: the menu setup is a little confusing. The main items are listed on the wall above the register, but other dishes and specials are scattered around the restaurant. P.S. If the owner ever wants help from a graphic designer to make the menu clearer and more customer-friendly, I'd be happy to lend a hand.

This is a hidden gem in Pasadena. They have flavorful soul food fried fish meals, shrimp, greens, yams, etc. They have a huge selection of fish to choose from. The place is very clean and the Manager, Joe is amazing. He is the most kindhearted human being I have ever met in the food industry. He was very accommodating, nurturing, sweet, and fun. If you're in the Pasadena area and want some good fried/or grilled fish, go eat here you will not be disappointed. All orders are made fresh. Note: Practical prices and you can choose one of each fish for your meal depending on what you order. I did not like the green beans they needed a little more flavor and the yams were just ok. But everything else was very good. They have sweet potato pie and peach cobbler. I had the sweet potato pie and it was good.

Small Mac & Cheese charged 2.00 extra when my meal incl a side.

I tried, the fishery isn't the same. I tried giving the new ownership a second chance. I first visited the new fishery a couple weeks ago and I ordered the Whiting. I immediately called after purchasing and spoke to the gentleman and explained to him that my fish taste like jerky, the fish was over cooked. He stated that I can come back and get another order & he loved the feedback. Update: I went in again today couple weeks later I ordered the catfish and shrimp meal. The shrimp was overcooked. It's extremely hard and rubbery. I couldn't even eat my shrimp & I'm not calling again about it, so that leads me here. The macaroni and cheese is in such a small cup and made no sense for it to be $2.75 then the french fries was fried extremely hard and for $18 the catfish was a piece split in half if that. The portions are extremely small compared to what it was before for the price. I guess that it works for them, but it won't work for me. I won't be back. I'm going back to the Pasadena Fish market. I will say that my Whiting did taste better. This time than the first time I purchased. The catfish was cool taste a bit old. The ma & cheese was good but TINY..For the price the fish should be out so we can see what we're purchasing like before and FRESH!

More people need to know about this place! Price vs quality is absurd!! I got two tacos, one fish and one shrimp, and the grilled pork sandwich and I'm already thinking of the next time I can go. The fish and shrimp were battered just right with the right amount of crisp while not taking away from the actual meat. While the seafood is great I thought the grilled pork sandwich was the star. For only $4 you get a juicy slice of pork with lettuce, grilled onion, and sauce I could only dream of. A true mom and pop shop with great service and great food that deserves more customers.

$3 fish sandwich posted on the window. The shop/restaurant looked very bare. Store didn't smell fishy so that's good. Their display of fish was also very minimal which I didn't mind. Display case for frozen seafood is unnecessary. I ordered and I stood there. They fry the fish fresh to order. I got 2 $3 fish sandwiches. It's important to mention. Where can you get a fish sandwich for $3. Super simple burger bun, light tartar sauce, and a piece of fresh fried snapper. You can choose snapper, whiting or swai fish. Simplicity.

I liked the flavor. The catfish and hush puppies were both fried well. They were not too dry either. The sweet potatoes were okay too.

The good: The people working at the counter were very friendly and welcoming. We took a while to order, and they were patient and courteous. They gave our kids free little light up chick toys that they absolutely loved and kept them entertained while we waited for our food! The bad: - The reason it took us so long to order was because they were seemingly out of half of their menu items. Everything we wanted to order was out of stock, so we settled on boneless chicken with fries and chicken gyoza - Something very important to note is that they primarily serve dark meat for the boneless chicken. Dark meat can have a pink/red color even when fully cooked. We had several pieces that looked so red that we didn't feel comfortable eating them because it just looked unappetizing how red it was and I didn't feel fully certain it was cooked because I don't carry around a food thermometer lol. But no one in our party got sick, so I assume it was cooked? I honestly don't know. -When we arrived, they were playing very loud, very explicit hip hop. I love hip hop myself and it would have been fine if our kids weren't with us, but with kids it was just kinda weird to be listening to very explicit lyrics at 10 AM lol. It wasn't just normal hip hop, it was like the extra explicit cut of some SoundCloud rapper. Eventually they changed it to very loud country music. Just weird vibes either way

I only ever order takeout from this location and there's definitely things that could be improved. The location is on busy Colorado so parking is a nightmare. The workers here have absolutely no sense of urgency. Often I've been the only customer picking up and the speed of service could only be described as "meandering" to find and hand me my order. As previously mentioned, there's no issue with the food. It's juicy and flavorful. But there's inconsistencies like sometimes I get the side radish and utensils but other times not at all. The attitude of the workers you interact with are that of someone who has absolutely no pride in their work and are simply tolerating customers. It would go a long way to improve this location if workers were trained to do everything as efficiently and quickly as possible. The cost is also astronomically high for chicken. A whole chicken is $31 before any taxes or fees. It's not competitive with other Korean fried chicken places and you have to imagine part of the cost is due to the location. I would be sad if this branch closed, since it is closest to where I live, but it wouldn't be a shock that it did close. There's a lot of low hanging easy changes that could be made. Better training from management, more local deals, and focusing on customer service.
