Cute little hole in the wall tucked away across from an Indian market. I never knew about this place until hubby suggested we order dinner from here. Came straight from my son's sports camp so ordered as soon as we got there. There is a small patio area outside and a small eating area inside, as well. We were greeted as soon as we entered and saw the giant menu hanging above the register. Ordered a white pizza, chicken tenders, and fries. We waited about 15 minutes. Have to keep it real. Digiorno is better. Not even gonna lie. After reading many of these comments, I said let's just try it out. What a flop it was. Seriously fail. I've made a few pizzas in my life and had the best of the best on the east coast. And this was a horrendous rendition of a pizza pie. Their sauce is possibly the worst sauce I have ever had. I am truly amazed people on yelp are raving about this place. Majority of you either have no taste buds or don't even know what real pizza is. For real. Sauce is extremely off putting. If it's oregano they are using it's either expired or they put so much it ruins the tomato flavor. The amount of toppings they put is almost like they are afraid to make customers happy, or they think they are losing money. Yet I payed like 3.50 for two toppings received like 1.5 whole mushrooms sliced and an okay portion of olives. They let the pizza bubble which shows how much they care about the pie. What a shame. Pizza should not have bubbles where the sauce and cheese are. I always would wonder "I should order from here" but deep down I knew there's BETTER, REAL pizzerias out there. And here we are, finally leaving that review I didn't care for but you all need to hear me out. There is better pizza out there. This is below par. First time here. Dropped off my car across the street and was waiting for my ride to arrive so I stopped in to grab a quick bite. The guy working (I think the owner) was super friendly and helpful. I told him, I've only got 10 minutes - think that'll be enough time to crank out a personal? "I got you" and my guy came through. I think he could tell I was stressing on time so he kept reassuring me he'd have the pizza done and that it'd be perfect and sure enough the pizza came out right on time and it was bomb. However, Bambino's has a wide selection of pizzas to choose from and customize for very fair prices. I got the Bambino's Special (medium) and Buffalo Chicken (personal size). Came in on a Saturday night. There's no dining room, so this is a call-ahead and carryout joint. We didn't know. We ordered a meat-lovers pizza, a Caesar salad, chicken wings, an order of cheese bread, and soft drinks. The total came to $80+, which was a bit of a shock. We sat at the one and only table at the front of the store while a TV blared in the restaurant lobby. It took more than an hour to get our food. Nobody acknowledged us while we waited patiently. We wound up eating at the one table in the lobby where we'd been waiting the entire time. The food itself was marginal at best and they forgot to include the cheese bread and utensils. This was NOT a pleasant dining experience. Perhaps they were just having an off-night, but for $80 plus tip, the experience should've been significantly better. read more

I just discovered I've been wasting my time with pizzas by not ordering CALZONES! I saw Malcom making a calzone one day and decided to give it a try and that's my new order! Besides the pizzas and calzones, their chicken wings are ridiculously good! They're not breaded and fried like most places, but cooked in the oven. They're crispy, juicy and delicious... and that's WITHOUT sauce! I order plain because that's what I prefer, but I'm sure they're bomb with sauce as well. Employees are always friendly and they even have an old school Simpsons arcade game that you can play for free while you wait! I think you have to get a large pizza or extra large, in order to avoid the doughy, and dense texture.. We got a extra large pepperoni and mushroom pizza the first, time and i thought that was much better, crust was thinner and less heavy The staff is super nice, and friendly, good parking, not really a place you eat at, its more for take out. Overall this place is a 2.5 for pizza in Pasadena. Nice staff, clean, lots for the amount of pizza you get, 16 bucks for a medium for their specialty pizza which is good, since the pizza is no dense and filling, you hard to eat more that 2 or 3 slices, is pretty affordable. They have a large of topping variety and other options outside of pizza. There are so many good pizza places in Pasadena, I would go to before here.. This is some damn good pizza. About two weeks ago, ordered an x-large pepperoni for delivery. The thing was massive, and there was only two of us. We had tons of left overs, which I love. We did get mozzarella sticks that time and I didn't hate them but I don't think I'd get them again. Maybe if I dined in, I'm not sure. Tonight, we ordered delivery again, but this time we went with a large pepperoni. Birthday weekend ahead, so didn't wanna have too many left overs. Anyway, this time was different. In a good way. I know consistency is preferred when it comes to food but neither of the pizzas were bad. I loved it the first time, and I loved it even more, the second time. It's possible the size had to do with that, which is why I am mentioning it. I ate both of these these pizzas with the same person, so just trust that it's delicious, but neither of us can describe why. Also, with this order, we added potato wedges. OMG! The Caesar salad was very fresh and came with tons of large chards of Parmesan cheese. That was a very nice touch. Never again. I've ordered from here before and dealt with the late issues but this is rather consistent. I haven't ordered from here in a year because of it. I spoke to the owner regarding the issue and he apologized and even gave me a free pizza as a mea culpa. A year, however, is plenty of time to fix a lateness issue. Hire more people. Get better ovens. And most definitely improve customer service. None of that happened. After working a very long day and not in the mood to cook, I wanted to have a pizza and some wings. My child wanted spaghetti. I hoped the issues I had before would've been fixed. It appears it has gotten worse. Now most pizzerias are busy right now during the pandemic and patience is a virtue.
