So after ordering a pizza for take out and getting it home [a sausage mushroom hand tossed pizza] ,i open the box to Get slices out for everyone and the cheese was practically falling off the slice , not because its hot , but because there was WAY too much sauce like the crust was almost soggy, blegh and on top of that the mushrooms they're using are clearly the variety out of a can not fresh sliced , I mean come on, how much harder is it do fresh mushrooms :/ I don't think I'll be planning on ordering from Fishawk pizza again any time soon read more

We enjoy getting takeout from Fish hawk pizza on a regular basis. We order wings and sometimes pizza. We haven't had a bad order yet. The wings are always crispy and flavorful. A-OK local pizza spot. This pizza parlor reminds me of the mom and pop spots we used to have when I was growing up in South Philly. We stopped in for the first time about a week ago to see what the pizza was like. The $1.00 drafts were served fresh and cold by the wait staff and the pizza was as warm and wonderful as a childhood hangout. Kids were everywhere running around playing video games, hanging out and having a great time! This is the kind of place you can go after a game to have a good time with the family. Went here with my in laws for dinner. Family atmosphere. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana which comes with a salad and garlic knots. Mother in law got a sm special pizza. Father in law got the philly steak. The salad was your typical pizza place house. No complaints. The eggplant parm was not the best but cheesy and the sauce was a decent red sauce. It came with a side of pasta as well. I ate one bite. The pasta was so overlooked it was inedible. The MIL enjoyed her pizza thin chewy crust. She said the longer it sat the wetter it got. The food is OK but it's not a good place to watch the Steelers game. During the late game last week the ownership decided to turn the lights on in the outdoor area despite the fans asking them to remain off. This week as the game was winding down, the owner decided to change it to a different game while the customers were still trying to watch the Steelers game. Pizza pie time at Fishhawk Pizza . Went here with some kiddos for pizza and beer. They got pitchers of beer too. I did 10 hot wangz (crispy and delightful), large pepperoni ZA (classic greasy pizza), and a pitcher of cigar city free dive. (Drunk-drank-drunk). Went over to the game room, which consists of like 6 or so claw machines. Sunk about 5 bucks into those and walked away with one plastic ring and some smarties, kids loved it though. I may need to work on my claw machine game. So it was Saturday night and they had a magician there going from table to table, what they didn't know is I am full hot for magic. This dude was pulling out the ol' flaming wallet routine, no look card tricks, and freaking guy even did balloon art. Overall I had a really good time and plan on making this a regular stop. Only one suggestion, put on some music guys. Let's drown out the sighs of the melancholy teenagers working the joint. Just teasing, the teens did great job, but I'm serious about getting a little Ace of Base pumping in that joint. read more

Would have loved to try this place however, when i called they wanted to charge me $2.50 to take green peppers off and add Black olives. Another pizza place that does not care about their customers. I refuse to pay to substitute toppings. If I add topping or maybe if i was changing out for meat or something like that sure charge me but to change one veggie for another. My husband and I have enjoyed this pizza restaurant about a dozen times. When we lived in FHR it was our go to place for eating pizza out and delivered too. They are a friendly and accommodating business. We usually get a small pizza and two side salads. I love salami as one of my toppings and They are about the only pizza place in the area that has that. My husband likes their beer selection and prices. The only disappointment was when we got the pizza delivered ( 2) times, the crust was soggy. They made it up to us when I told them. Atmosphere pretty typical. 8 televisions, red vinyl booths and tables. Large space would be good for larger groups. The menu is what you would expect with some extras (pasta, subs, etc.). Just moved to the area and thought we would try them out. Won't go again. Very noisy at 8 on a Friday - lots of kids yelling, but staff yelling too. We had to flag down someone to take a app order. They don't even bother with real cups - styrofoam cups and paper plates. "Garlic" bread barely tasted like garlic, mostly tasted like butter. Pizza was really greasy and spinach was out of a can and not even spread out on the pizza. Taste was mediocre. Service was terrible. When we were done and wanted to pay we had to flag down a different waitress after waiting forever - we could see our waitress, but she was sitting down at the table behind us eating pizza. One waitress brought the check a second finally ran us up. Meanwhile the owner (?) had gathered some of the staff at the table behind us and was lecturing them about not taking coupons while they ate in the dining room. As close as you get from NY/NJ pizza. Sicilian is the best I had in FL so far. Fried calamari they are not generous usually get a lot of crumbs. Would like to see them expand the menu. One time you get a good pie and everything is fine and the next time your pie is super salty and the meats are overcooked. After about five times eating here I am done. Extremely disappointed with tonight's experience with a business we've been loyal to since they opened in our community. Fishhawk Pizza delivered half our order, cold, 1 1/2 hours after we ordered. But the response from management is what really disappoints: flatly refused to take our call. After two hours, Omar, reportedly the manager, finally called backed and accused of us of outright lying about not receiving part of our order and fabricating the story that it was cold. Worked in customer service for years...that response? Big mistake. Big. Huge. We have always supported local business, especially restaurants who have such a hard go of it.
