The guys in the store are always super helpful and they remember you and what you were after. I've never had a bad experience here. The treadmill install went great and we've had no issues with anything we've purchased. The only caution I'll give, which they will tell you if you ask, is that for racks and so on they mostly sell their own products. The racks they have seem to be good -- I have a friend who purchased one and loves it. But you won't find Rogue or REP or other brands like that here. They do have a decent amount of specialty stuff as well.

My husband had already done extensive research, so it was great to hear Barry echo many of the same things and not have him BS us with sales tactics or something. He was honest and very helpful, and in the end, we settled on getting the Horizon 7.0, which is the most popular home treadmill. They do price-match, so they found a lower price from Dicks and matched it. We also opted for delivery and installation, which was an additional $199 but will be worth it as I sure am not moving a treadmill into the basement!! We both walked away from the experience feeling like it was one of the least stressful, refreshing buyer-seller experience we've had in a while! If you're looking for any sort of home gym equipment (or massage chairs!), I'd definitely recommend Johnson Fitness! Their customer service is unmatched!

We bought a Precor Glide FTS from Chip at Atlantic Fitness Brokers today. This is the second piece…read moreof equipment we bought from him, after a leg press machine a year and a half ago. The machine Precor machine was used, which reduced the price by over 50 percent. Chip refurbished it, and excepting a few minor "chips" of paint missing, it is in great condition. I knew I wanted this particular machine because I had used it elsewhere. As I said commenting on the leg press machine, when buying new equipment, what's important is the manufacturer because if there's a warranty issue the manufacturer stands behind it. But when buying used equipment, the character of the sales person is of the utmost importance because that person's word is really the only recourse if there's a problem. I have found Chip to be honest in describing the equipment, answering our questions fully. He never tries to upsell. The equipment he sells is in excellent condition. The delivery and assembly went smoothly (with no damage) despite having to go down a flight of stairs and making a sharp turn at the bottom. He spent ample time showing me some exercises to do on the machine. In sum, I highly recommend doing business with Chip for fitness equipment.
