Since I have the Willpower membership and can go to any location, I suggested the Sugar Land location. She decided to sign up there on her own, and that's when everything started to go wrong. After she signed up, she was offered a "free" personal training session, and we decided to do it together. During that session, we worked with a trainer named Joseph and made it very clear multiple times that we were on a budget and could not commit to anything long-term. He reassured us more than once that we would be able to cancel at any time. He even apologized later and tried to make up for the confusion by offering another "free" session, but by that point the situation had already gone too far. That reassurance is the only reason we agreed. As soon as we realized the cost wasn't manageable, we came back in person to cancel--multiple times. Each time, we were left waiting for long periods with little to no help, while staff stood around and watched. On top of that, no one ever answers the phone, which makes it nearly impossible to get assistance without physically coming in. The way we were treated during this process was honestly shocking. Instead of being helped, we were met with resistance and dismissiveness. The fitness manager, Mac, went as far as implying that we were "scamming" simply because we were trying to cancel--based on what we were clearly told when we signed up. That was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. At no point were we trying to take advantage of anything. We were just acting on the information that was given to us upfront. The lack of accountability and communication has made this situation way more stressful than it ever needed to be. I will say the general manager took the time to listen, which I appreciated, but there has been no follow-up since then. Honestly, the most disappointing part of all of this is that my friend was treated so poorly after I was the one who recommended this gym to her. What should have been a positive experience for both of us turned into something stressful and upsetting. After this experience, we will not be returning to this location at all. I will either continue going to EōS Rosenberg, switch to another gym like Amped Fitness, or possibly cancel my membership altogether. This was just a horrible experience overall. If you're considering signing up for personal training here, make sure everything is clearly explained in writing before agreeing to anything. Location for the class was odd being off in the corner from a gym full of kids in a summer camp. Yet once we entered into the cycling studio Dan definitely did bring a more bright and uplifting aura. The music was vibrant and the exercise was nice and challenging. The spin class is every Tuesday at 6:30pm and guest can come every 60 days I think but you can't reserve a spot in the class. You'd have to wait until a spot opens. So that can be a bit nerve wrecking if many come that day. So shoutout to Dan for making the experience amazing!

As a parent, it was incredibly upsetting to hear that adults who were supposed to be providing a safe and supportive environment were treating my child this way. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that I reported my concerns to management multiple times throughout the summer. I expected the concerns to be taken seriously, investigated, and addressed appropriately. Instead, I repeatedly felt dismissed and that very little was done to correct the situation. Parents should be able to leave their children in Life Time's care knowing they will be treated with kindness and respect. Children should never feel mocked, singled out, or bullied by the adults responsible for supervising them. We have invested a significant amount of money in our Life Time membership and trusted them with our children. After repeatedly bringing these concerns to management and feeling like they were never taken seriously, I'm incredibly disappointed in how this was handled. I hope Life Time takes a serious look at the culture, training, supervision, and accountability within its child care programs. If I recall correctly, Iron Cowboy has 6 racks and 5 deadlift platforms. The barbells, plates, and many of the equipment are all brand new! I also love the details on the equipment featuring Deathgrip Derek's logo. As for accessories, it is a little limited but you can definitely get the basics done with the machines available. It does get a little crowded in the evening time since that's when most people work out but the members are all kind enough to work in together. Speaking of kind, I got to meet the owners Derek and Maggy- they were both very welcoming and I am super excited for their ideas on expanding the gym in the near future!
