My wife and I have traveled extensively around the country and our "hobby" is sampling diners in different places. Mel's is hands down in the top five honor roll! Such an unexpected delight! Great food, great menu, great staff and service, great prices, and great coffee!!! We live 20 miles away, but Mel's will definitely be our "go to" place from now on!!! Highly recommended!!!

My son always gets The Basics (eggs, meat, hash browns, and biscuit with gravy) and says that they have the absolute best hash browns. The servers are always polite and make sure that you have what you need.
