March 2026 Review I was part of the 5am crew here. Morning crew works out hard, minimal distractions and off to work/school. I would also come in around 430p to do cardio and it's a completely different t crowd and vibe. Expect lots of teenagers around this time. And expect to wait (like any other gym not just F19). Equipment: great variety of machines and free weights. Depending on the time of the day, the wait for equipment wasn't too bad. The machines are fairly new and well maintained. The free weights were plentiful. There is a room dedicated purely to leg exercises which was great. And that included 3 individual hip thrust machines which is historically always taken. Couple of hydromassage chairs too. Cardio: PLENTY of cardio equipment. Treadmills, bikes ellipticals, multiple stair climbers and 2 Concept 2 rowing machines. I never had to wait for cardio equipment. Staff: Aaron the GM sets the tone with his staff. They are super friendly, helpful and greet you on the way in and out. My first day there, Aaron introduced himself to me. Despite being a member of F19 in Northern CA, it was refreshing to have that interaction, who I later found out was the GM. The staff can be seen cleaning, racking weights and helping others work out. I met Jessica (who's in probably the best shape of anyone in MoVal) and she's super friendly and her workouts are intense (don't be intimated by her. She's very sweet). Location: plenty of parking and i felt safe no matter what time I went. Sometimes shady characters are afoot, but isn't that IE living? Cons: Nobody. I mean nobody racks their weights here. Maybe 2-3 people in the 5am crew. Aside from them, no one racks weights. Work In/Share: when it's busy, you work your sets in with people. Not here. Get used to teenagers in their phones or working out in groups of 4-5 on any given day. It's simple, if it's busy you share. If you're not working out, move out the way. Wipe Down: despite the abundance of free wipes available, sweaty people here rarely wipe down. Come on man! Simple universal gym rules: Rack your weights Share the equipment Wipe down These are common fouls here, not F19s fault. Just be prepared for this. Lastly, the 4-5am crew...there is a very strange character who works out here. Wears a mask and military clothing. Multiple tripods and ego lifts like crazy. Fine. Ego lift all you want. But it's not necessary to slam your weights EVERY SINGLE time. It's annoying and the loud grunting is equally annoying. You can't miss this guy. He looks like a deleted character from Mortal Kombat. Dances in the mirror to himself and talks to himself. I'm from the Bay Area and I've seen some strange and bizarre stuff. This guy takes the cake. Hes the epitome of bad gym culture though...I'd not the prime definition. Overall....i was happy to be here for several months. read more

Avoid this gym at all costs. Like many others, I tried to cancel my membership in person as I was instructed to do and Fitness 19 completely ignored it. Months later, I was shocked to get a notice from a debt collector demanding $131.95 for a membership I canceled. The collection agency links to a site under the name "Vim and Vigor" not Fitness 19 and that site clearly shows my account as "Cancelled" with no breakdown of any charges owed. If this debt is even real, why isn't the gym or the portal providing details? This isn't just a mistake it's a pattern of deception. The company didn't respond to my BBB complaint, and I've now filed with the CFPB and the California Attorney General. A quick search of Yelp reviews shows I'm not alone. This location clearly profits off of ignoring cancellation requests and letting a third party chase you for money you don't owe. Do not sign up here. You'll regret it the second you try to leave. read more

Not sure why this gym has such low reviews, but been here a few times and can't complain. Yes it's a smaller fitness 19 then say Perris or Menifee, but has all the equipment needs for all your parts. Obviously coming at the most crowded times will limit your use on the equipment. For instance the dumbbell area there are only about 6 seats to claim. read more

I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so consistently frustrating that i felt compelled to share. I've been coming to this gym for a while, and overall, it's been a solid experience. Except for an employee JOHN GARCIA, who just doesn't seem to know how to leave me or others alone. Every time i'm in the middle of a workout, he finds a way to interrupt me. Whether it's unsolicited "advice" on my form, strange comments about my routine, or just unnecessary small talk, it feels like i can't even focus on my sets without him lurking around. I get that gyms are social places, but there's a difference between being friendly and being an inconvenience. It's really frustrating, and while the gym itself is great, I wish this guy would take the hint and let others get their workout done in peace. Not coming back until this is addressed!! read more

Updating my previous review since I was in an extremely bitchy "Karen" type mood while writing the first one. I've been coming in the evenings mostly when it gets the most crowded, and most recently switched to early mornings after receiving unsolicited lifting advice from another member. As said before, equipment is decent but variety is lacking since it is a smaller facility. It would be nice to see a hack squat machine or seated dip machine added. They do have a hex deadlift bar which I don't see often. I've seen other gyms have sanitizing spray available at the front desk for wiping down equipment. Here they have sanitizing wipes to wipe down equipment after use. Mask rules are enforced here more so than other gyms I've been to. read more

If you want to be in high school again go to this gym. Gym is full of high schoolers who just go to hang out. They do more chatting than working out, they just take up equipment. I've literally seen a hs couple make out in the studio room. It's outrageous! Also don't get me started on the noise. Lot of people think it's okay to groan loudly and yell. A woman on the treadmill kept yelling "wooo!! Yeah!!!" Over and over. No worker asked her to calm down despite the many stares she got. Not a professional gym. Yolanda is the worst when it comes to customer service. She gave me a hard time the very first day as she told me I can just leave for having my address not updated on my current identification card. I then had to show her that I ordered my new drivers license and waiting on my new one. After she already told me to leave without acknowledging that. Mind you it's 7am, & it was very hard dealing with only her as the only employee available and no manager was present, then after I showed her my address update, she still showed me around the place for my tour, after she came to the conclusion that she was wrong . Afterwards, I told her I would be leaving a review on her customer service , she then came and tried to cover it up with extra time on the hydro message chair. At that point I let it go & never followed up with it... Now here it is Wednesday a whole different day, I check into the gym a hour and a half ago, in which she's nowhere in site I'm guessing she wasn't even clocked in for work yet... I now have my basic membership, and I go to the front desk asking another employee to assist me with the hydro message chair, and here she is standing with an attitude asking me questions that no longer concern her, & instead of saying I need premium membership out of over listening what I asked the employee, she sends the other employee all the way over that's always very kind over to tell me I have to "check-in again".. & I already know after seeing 'Yolanda' what the problem is! & I don't know what her problem is but its the second time, and I can't stand when someone throws rocks and hides their hand. I really appreciate the rest of the kind staff, but this lady is overdoing it to the fullest.. & is steady trying to clear up her actions after she comes for me and I don't acknowledge the battle she wants to engage in... Friendly staff and well kept establishment is why I switched from LA Fitness to this Fitness 19. The team is constantly cleaning and there's disinfecting wipes around the club. I'm always greeted with a smile and welcome. This location offers a great variety of cable machines and free weights. Jazmin was very informative about the machines and how they work, showed me around the facility so I would become familiar with it. I ended up getting a premium membership since I enjoyed the hydromassage, having access to multiple locations, and being able to bring in a guest on the weekends. Terrible customer service. Many of the employees are immature and unwilling to help. If you sign up to work out at this gym just know you are basically getting yourself into a cult as it is so difficult to cancel your membership. The club manager is almost never available and many of the employees claim the manager is the only one that can terminate memberships. This seems to be a lie as a different employee told me over the phone that anyone can cancel a gym membership it doesn't have to be the manager. When arriving to cancel my membership I was told they do not do it in house and provided me with a phone number that was a complete waste of time. read more

I wouldn't recommend this center under the leadership of Jasmine, very poor customer skills and shes never in the office. They have no way of contacting Jasmine to resolve issues employees Kelly, Domnic, and Norma are just out of high-school and don't nothing about the company they work for. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The gym itself isn't bad. However, cancelling is terrible. The worst customer service ever. I cancelled mine as the main person, the children's club was supposed to be cancelled with it, instead they must have transferred the kids to my husbands account so that they can continue to charge us. My husband has called numerous times within the past 4 months and Nobody has cancelled it or ever called back. They will do whatever they can to keep stealing your money. We moved across the country and have not even been there in months, but they keep charging. Seems like it should become a legal issue. read more

The manager leaves a lot to be desired. His answer to their blunder in our payments is always "you can call the police and file fraud". We've called on two separate occasions about two separate incidents and he is not courteous. Customer satisfaction is not on his radar. Obviously for him, maintaining clientele isn't as important as his self righteous perception of himself. You're not tough talking to people like you have no sense over the phone bud. This is my 2nd time that I'm cancelling my membership to this chain of gyms, it's the first time cancelling due to staff behavior, and we surely won't be back. I'll take my money to LA Fitness. I'd rather pay twice the price for better service and a MUCH BETTER facility that actually has equipment available to use. P.s. there's a corporate to every business bud. You know when you have a place you just feel happy and make your day, well this is what this gym does for me. The staff is friendly and time goes by every time I come here. They have enough equipment for what I need to do. This gym does get packed on certain days and hours, so if you are smart you know which days to come and what time to avoid the busy crowd. The only downside I would say it sometimes you have a group of kids hoarding a machine here and there. Other than that I genuinely love coming here to blow off some steam. read more

Lovely staff that is always so kind at the front desk. I have met some great people here and the atmosphere is very homey compared to the bigger gyms. The fitness equipment is pretty new, which I love. This particular gym is smaller than the Perris location that I have visited, but it isn't too crammed. No frills, just circuit training, free-weights, and cardio machines. I signed up during a special promo; twelve bucks a month and no contract: you can't beat it. The space is a little on the small side and I've heard that peak times can be a headache as lines form for various machines. No amenities is a bit a drag too, but it actually gets me in and out a lot quicker. No towel service. No juice bar. Whatev! I'm here to shed some pounds and tone up. The facility is new and the machines seem to be well-maintained. Flat screen televisions line the perimeter. Overall, it's a basic, solid gym. Just avert your eyes from the KFC across the parking lot and keep in mind there's a Fresh & Easy a few doors down, and all will be well. :-] A side note: There's quite a good mix of eye candy. However, I just don't get the whole Jersey Shore phenomenon; all of these meat-heads pumping iron with so much gel in their hair it could be considered a weapon. read more

We've been a members for around 3 years at the Perris and iris location, but now We're thinking of canceling our membership because as of lately they are allowing these kids to use the machines. It's really annoying to have to wait for a machine because a little 8 year old is using it...YES I said 8! I ran into the kid's mom in the restroom and she confirmed it. We were told by a girl at the front desk that the youngest that can join is 12 years old. The people at the front desk are aware of the situation but choose to do nothing about it. I guess they also don't care about the liability of the kids getting severely injured. I'm not the only one that feels this way since I've also overheard other members making nasty comments about the situation. There's a child care center available for parents, so there's no excuse for allowing these kids to have all access to the machine floor... read more

Staff is super friendly and keeps the environment and gym equipment clean! The gym itself has plenty of space to workout (whether it's using barbells, dumbbells, or cardio equipment). My favorite part of the gym is the multi-purpose mirror room where I sometimes go during crowded hours to use dumbbells or to practice choreography. Highly recommend this place!! read more

I don't understand some of the negative reviews I have read for this place. From my experience, I enrolled in this gym after they were allowed to reopen due to this pandemic. From the beginning the staff has been great. Very welcoming and informative. I registered online because I like dealing with no hassle. I have been going in there now for over a month and the staff is great. There's always machines available and there's always free weights available. When the free weights are busy, one doesn't have to wait long to get going. Overall, I highly recommend. From David to the girls and the rest of the staff who work there, they have been solid in my end. Give em a try! Plus prices are awesome.
