My husband and I go to Fitness 19 weekly for our strength-training sessions, and it's become such a great part of our routine. We usually go around lunch hours, which is perfect because it's never too busy -- no waiting for machines, no crowding, just an easy, steady flow. I usually hop on the StairMaster for 5-10 minutes to warm up (and pretend I'm climbing to better glutes), then move into strength work. We mostly stick to the free weights and machines for now -- still a little intimidated by the barbells and squat racks, but we'll be weight-loading soon! I've also been eyeing their yoga classes -- just waiting for one that fits my schedule so I can finally stretch and zen out after all the lifting. Not my favorite gym but it's close to my house so it's the only reason I go. I don't like that I have to stalk a machine every time because there's only 1 of each. It's so annoying especially when I'm on a tight schedule before work. I also don't like how some machines are so close to each other making people face your direction while they're resting, makes it so awkward for both people. Honestly, I only go here when it's last resort. Luckily, my job offers this membership for a bundle membership with other gyms or I else I wouldn't come here. read more

I've been coming to this place for about 4 months now. The Pros: Friendly staff, pretty clean, the trainers look like they care about their clients, cheap monthly price. The Cons: - the place is SMALL. Some machine are so close to each other, you can't walk between them when someone is doing a set. - THE HOURS. they close so early. This is very subjective because maybe the hours work for you. I'd much rather drive a little farther to go to a 24 hour gym. - Lack of equipment. I'll start by saying I love the gym. The staff are extremely friendly/approachable and it is always clean. They have a good selection of equipment and cardio machines. It can get pretty crowded on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday evenings, but every gym is like that. The problem is that the gym is always hot and it is getting worse. I usually come here after work and there were several months where it would be 80°+ outside and they would have the doors open and no noticeable air conditioning running; it would feel like a sauna inside. Last week, it was so hot on Tuesday that I got dizzy and nauseous which has never happened to me before. I decided to record the humidity & temperature three separate days at different times & locations inside the gym. The temperature is consistently between 81º- 84°. I guarantee the gym is 85°+ when it gets crowded in there. My wife has stopped going to the gym as the heat has increased. If they can fix the heat issue, I'll gladly edit my review to 5*. read more

I've been coming to this gym specifically over the past two years of my journey and I must say, this gym is the reason why I kept going for sooo long. The atmosphere of this gto the way it looks nice and all the way to their amazing employees. Their employees here are beyond encouraging and soooo nice ! It's hard to choose outstanding employees since LITERALLY everyone is so welcoming- but Val , Kevin, and Austin have been such a great help along my journey and I have to give so much love to this gym. Austin is my current trainer and he absolutely KILLSSS it every time, either way all the trainers here are so knowledgeable and amazing ! :) read more

The gym itself is really nice. the equipment is nice and is always functioning, the layout is nice, the staff is really friendly, and there's a lot of amenities for the premium membership! however it is always so busy compared to the amount of equipment they have. it's impossible to go in with a workout plan and be able to actually execute it without having to wait a while for equipment or skip certain workouts because they essentially only have 1 of most machines, especially for legs. which is really all they can do because it's a smaller gym so I understand, that's realistically the only con. I'm hoping to find a time to get in that's a bit less busy, otherwise i recommend! read more

No place to park/store a bike. The one sign post outside is ALWAYS occupied by someone's scooter, bike, etc. Catch a clue! Otherwise, the Redlands gym is clean, the machines are in good repair, the staff is friendly but not overbearing. I've been coming here for about 5yrs off and on and when I first sign up it was great. I was excited for the Zumba classes. Yesterday I took Holly class and I have to say I felt like I was taking a ballet class. She is more focus on herself looking a the mirror the whole time the class is so boring. I have also taken Cheryl class she is a great person but she needs to change the music and steps. They have been the same for the past 5yrs. I don't feel challenged anymore. I hope management will take this inconsideration. I don't want to drive to Redlands. read more

The restrooms are disgusting. I was a member for 2 years and lived nearby so I made sure to use the restroom before going. It was just convenient since I lived close. Also think twice about getting a membership here they make cancellations difficult. read more

Great gym, small and intimate. Very popular almost always full. Evenings are busier than mornings. Weekends are really packed. The gym has a little bit of everything, free weights, weight machines and they offer classes such as cardio, weight and spin classes. They also have a body scan machine and hydro massage machine for premium memberships. Always clean and always fully staffed. Staff is friendly and helpful. I love the people here. Everyone is friendly and encouraging. They have various trainers for your various physical needs. My favorite Trainer is Vanessa. She is patient and kind and always has your best interest at heart. Vanessa takes the time to ensure that during your training sessions, you are her priority. Vanessa also works with injuries for example, my torn rotator cuff, which I now have a multitude of motion that I did not get from physical therapy. I believe that the strength training has helped immensely. I know that the multitude of trainers at this location in Redlands actually care about their people and ensuring that not only are they within their comfort level but they are getting the best strength training they can get. read more

Love working out here. Very clean, staff is super nice, never too busy (I usually go between 11-2). Nice variety of weights and cardio machines and I LOVE their InBody machine. Helped me get my BMR correct so I could lose some fat and gain more muscle. Also the typical gym goers here are very chill. I don't see any hogging of machines too often, I've never felt intimidated by anyone here. I receive free gym memberships through my work insurance for 24 Hours and Anytime, but I still pay to come to Fitness 19 because it's such a great gym. read more

I have been a member since they opened years ago. It is no longer clean. Weights are never cleaned so hand held ones are always sticky. Floor in class room is not clean. Someone mopped a week ago with dirty water which left mop circles of dirt. Ladies room needs restocking. All floors I gym are dirty. The few employees sit or stand around looking out the window. I have been trying to cancel my membership and account. Fitness 19 told me I had to send an email to abcfinancial to cancel. About five days later I received an email from abcfinancial saying that my staus has been changed to "pending cancellation" instead of complete and final cancellation. So they plan to keep my account open until they receive the next billing from the club or until the gym reopens which may be six months after I am dead. Fitness19 told me that I did not owe them any money and they were not planning on charging me anything. I came here about ten times over the past five years so they made plenty from me. This is entirely unethical and I just want to get these folks out of my check book. Please contact me with written confirmation that my account is 100% closed with no final balance. read more

Gyms aren't even supposed to be open right now due to COVID restrictions. As others mentioned cancelling or getting a refund is impossible. You call the gym and they tell you to contact a 3rd party company, then that company tells you to contact the gym.
