If I could give a ZERO, I would. This place is a joke when it comes to cancelling your membership and receiving a partial refund for non-used membership. I paid for the Elite PIF in November 2025. Went once in 2025 and never back. Gave 30-day notice on May 18, 2026, due to non-usage. Called CS about a partial refund today May 20, 2026, and was told NO. SCAM!! It feels like you're at a night club because it's so dark inside and not to mention you can barely see the settings on the machines and as far as cleanliness - non-existent. If you think you're getting a better deal by signing the "yearly payment plan" - think twice. I will NEVER go back here EVER. I'd rather pay to go to an upscale gym. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We have tried to cancel this membership for two years now. They have charged us over $600 and always have an excuse as to why they can't cancel it. Person A says we need to talk to person B and when we do talk to person B they say we need to right a letter. Did that never heard anything. Then we emailed, they respond that we needed to talk to person A. Was a customer here for a while and had to drop my membership. Free weight section is absolutely slammed and unusable from 4PM-8PM. Gym is very clearly overcrowded and it shows. 4 Bench stations for a parking lot with something like 90+ cars with every single space filled. The only thing you can do at this gym is run on the treadmills. (in which case, you're best just doing it outside for free ) or use machine weights ( which is still a huge maybe ) The free weight section often comes with tons of people in buddy groups who run rotations on them so it can lead to 2~ hour waits for a squat or deadlift set, and usually 45 min - 1 hour for bench. This is hands down the most overcrowded gym i've ever been to. This gym needs to cut half of the cardio equipment and put in free weights - but instead the management just continues to lower / take away benefits repeatedly. The cut from 24h to "normal" hours means everyone is squeezed into tiny time blocks, further creating more overcrowding. That being said, it's a gym for 10/month, but check with your insurance to see if they offer a multi-gym membership that includes local gyms for much cheaper than cost. Paying 20-30 a month is something I am happily paying to not have to go to this gym. read more

Tried fitness connection on a 5 day pass and went in optimistic. I've heard low cost gyms have a flood of cons but I couldn't find the cons on this one yet. I have joined and attended for a week now so far so good. The women's fitness area was the plus for me. The sauna in the women's restroom was another plus. Aside from the women's area, there is a daycare onsite, basketball court and racketball area. Definitely a gym affordable for the entire family. I'll try and update in a few months. read more

Extremely DISSATISFIED with #fitnessconnection. I've been a member since 2015. No problem but, once I finally decided to purchase personal training. Around 2019 even though I felt it would be a terrible decision. But company had this deal which was obviously too good to be true. It seem pretty easy. I signed up for a contract for PT for a year. Unfortunately this was Right when Covid hit. So the gyms were shut down my membership was frozen. While fighting Covid I had a cancer scare and fought the following year. Fast forward January 2021! Called fitness connection customer service to check on my PT sessions again I was told my sessions were in good standing. I could just go to any location and speak to a personal trainer. Sadly due to health restrictions after looking at the location. I was skeptical because Covid was still pretty fresh. I'm immune compromised now. I had just been released from the hospital for having 20 blood platelets. I literally fought for my life so trying to get fit in a facility like that would put my health at risk. I ask the customer service representative Jessica if I could freeze my sessions again til Covid dissipated. I asked would the sessions expire she told me no all I had to do was call and get them activated once I felt safe the cleaning protocol was being taken seriously in the gym. I was a gym flower so fitness connection didn't look classy like most gyms I was used to. #24hourfitness and I also worked for #LAfitness. Those gyms are up to par completely corporate wise and also having a basic level of good customer satisfactory. I paid 609$ a month for 15 session in 2019 but the contract was canceled due to Covid. The gym also canceled its pt partnership with #Paramountfitness. Which left my account floating in the wind. I just wanted to use my sessions or be refunded. This company is trying to make me pay an additional 300$ for sessions I've never used. IT MAKES NO SENSE! I FEEL VERY MISTREATED MISHANDLED, DISRESPECTED, and DISGAREDED. This process is giving me MENTAL ANXIETY AND IT SUCKS. In such hard times I still tried to work with them, Sadly nothing is resolved. Beware Don't get the Training it's completely stressful. I have been bamboozled by fitness connection three times now I will be canceling my membership. I will be filing a complaint every day that I can type until the situation is resolved and have yet to get a session set or even a clear reason as to why my account is so messed up. This company keeps asking for More money but giving SHIFTY SERVICE. I really did like fitness connection but this process has been DEVASTATINGLY PAINFUL. I appreciate that when masks and temp taking was mandatory, they were doing this. Also they make social distancing possible by blocking off every other set of equipment on the floor. I think the cleanliness of the club is great and the staff are polite. With that said, I am not at all happy with management. I train indoor cycle and I had to basically beg to have 2 power bikes put on the floor after being told I could not train in the cycle room. 2 power bikes are not enough. I have been forced to train at exactly 5am to ensure I get one of the two. I was a Spinning Instructor for 7 years and know how effective these bikes are when it comes to training. The bikes they own are top notch...but not enough are available. They are the only reason I stay at that facility. Management made me feel pretty petty for asking to have more of those bikes put out. There IS room if you remove a couple of the lesser used bikes. I would not recommend this facility to any serious indoor cycling enthusiasts who know how to train. THEY WON'T GET A BIKE. read more

Would not recommend for anybody. Seems like these people are out to get you. I called over a year ago to have my account canceled. They now say there is no record of it and I have continued to be charged for over a year. When I asked what I could do to fix it, the gentleman miles said that I would receive an email with the cancellation details which has not come and that without that cancellation email there is no way that I can prove that I ever made the original cancellation and they've been pulling money out of my account for over a year. Would highly recommend anybody looking for a new gym to stay far away. I've worked out there, off and on, for a few years. The place has its faults, surely; but all in all, they do alright. I pay $25/month now, and I still feel okay about it. They've handled the virus as well as any could, with a mask and gloves req., barring the lockers and sauna, blocking every other machine, right from reopening. It's clean; open machines work; wi-fi works; bikes work; squared away, all in all. The staff is great (mostly beautiful / friendly young women, yay!); and, though they've blocked off every other machine, there were so many to begin with that there is still enough to go around, it seems. Not so with the free weights. It's very crowded there, with half the benches closed; very hectic. They've charged me less throughout the virus, which is decent. I've worked out at almost every major gym chain in Addison/N. Dallas: across the street, at Lifetime, for two years. I didn't like the $75/month cost or its Manager's tyrannical ways, so I left (even though it is a very nice gym). At 24 Hour for many more years before/after that, always disgusted by Mgmt. and Staff's complete lack of caring about...anything (except signing new members and selling personal training sessions, of course); the place sucks so bad! I'm glad they're going out of business; good riddance. I tried YouFit, and thought it was just fine for a first gym, but only that; dark; demotivating crowd; not much equip; I needed more. Just filed my complaint with BBB. FC makes it very inconvenient to cancel memberships. And they start ACH fees again a few months later hoping you won't notice. I put a stop at my bank and now they text me for late dues. What a scheme! 100's of "billing complaints" on the BBB site should tell you all you need to know. I absolutely love this gym. Wow. I am always welcomed in with a warm, friendly staff member. I specifically have to give a big fat shoutout to the Operations Manager, Madeleine Marcos. Her encouraging attitude is the reason I feel confident coming back. She actually took the liberty of giving me a brief tour when I first started coming, and even helped me get into some different kinds of classes than I had been used to in the past. I sent my cancellation via certified mail, Fitness Connection then went on to send my "unpaid balance" to a collection agency. I am now having to go back and forth with them in order to protect my credit score. Unless you plan on staying with Fitness Connection until you're in a casket, go literally anywhere else for the love of God. Go to 24 hr across the street, anywhere else is better. (5 MONTHS AGO ) Stay. Away. The gym itself is fine, albeit extremely busy during peak overs. However, if you ever hope to cancel for any reason, prepare for a massive headache. You are required to mail in a letter designating your reason for cancellation. No phone calls, no in gym forms, this is the only way to cancel. I've been coming to Fitness Connection for almost a year now and love every moment of it. Prior I used to be part of a different gym and when I moved this was the closest. I didn't think much of a "$10" gym but I gave it shot and it has everything you need! State of the art weight machines, free weights, basketball gym, racketball courts, supplements, women's area, and cardio floor. They offer yoga, cycling, conditioning, and strengthening classes that will get you moving! The UBF staff are great! I haven't had a session but I see them challenge their clients and getting results. Get moving and take control of your health! read more

A lot of equipment but when it's busy, that doesn't matter. Staff is generally very nice but their guest pass isn't very accommodating. I had a friend visiting and we wanted to hit the gym together. You can only bring a guest once every 4 months. If they want a one week pass, it's $50. That's not worth it at all. I might be looking into other memberships. DO NOT BUY A MEMBERSHIP HERE!!!! Canceling is the biggest nightmare ever!! They will keep taking your money!! Written requests through snail mail are the only way they accept cancellations of membership. Who actually uses old fashioned mail anymore?? The notice also has to be given 30 days in advance, so they get you for one more month charge. Have never been impressed w the customer service at this gym. Your policy also is a one time annual fee of $50+ however you guys charged me more than once. The first time I let it go the second was too many the third you added my sons account.
