I have been personally going to this gym since it first opened and have had no problems at all getting my exercise in. Working out at this location has been pretty good. Just that the TVs never work, and a few of the Treadmills are broken, so you have to find one you have used over and over. The water fountain doesn't seem to be cleaned regularly and the bathroom/Men's locker room is too small for a gym this big, so I rarely go in there... Besides those cosmetic issues here and there, I haven't encountered anything else. Enjoy working out at this gym whenever I can, whether it's very early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Fitness Quest is a no-frills-GYM kind of gym. There is no towel service, no smoothie bar, and (for the purple lovers) no black diamond membership club. Grunting is encouraged and so are gallon sized water bottles. The changing room isn't pretty and neither is the "spa". The staff is like family and the gym is dirty. It's not meant to be comfortable. It has lots of weights and lots of bright, heavy duty, overhead lighting. It's old school... And I like it. read more

It's a very big gym with Hundreds of members and it's normally pretty full.... The facilities are NOT adequate for the membership. Under normal conditions there are 2 working showers in the men's locker room.... This is not nearly enough. Other gyms of this size have 8-10 + showers..... So imagine everybody's confusion when they hired some second rate contractor to come in and work on both showers at the same time.... The contractor left the shoddy work 1/2 done and his tools and materials all over the place FOR TWO WEEKS!!! They did a really low quality job too, but the thing is I did drywall & bathroom rehabs for years.... It was a very small patchwork job that could have easily been done in 1 day!!!! But the people who run this facility saw no problem with denying us members access to showers for 2+ weeks!!!!! And wait, I'm not done... I went there this morning and I was pleased to see that the tools were all cleaned up and the showers were open!!! Yay right??? Wrong! After spending all that $ for that hack job contractor to mess up the whole job, they neglected to fix the little cheap plastic base piece that holds the shower heads in place!!! An amazing display of poor planning and just really not giving a F$&@k about the business or its paying customers!!!! Fitness Quest! Go to Home Depot and spend $12 on a stupid piece of plastic so your members can shower after working out!!!!! read more

Discovered this gym last year. This gym is pretty huge and has all the amenities a typical gym would have minus a swimming pool. The gym is open 24/7 but on the weekends they do close early I believe. I came a couple times in the morning, and it's not too terribly busy as the afternoon. I usually take the CTY dance classes and I highly recommend! The classes are high energy, great music, and it doesn't ever feel like you're actually working out. Bre is an amazing dance instructor with awesome energy! This gym has plenty of cardio machines, tons of weight machines, LOTS of squat racks. This is compared to LA fitness. The only issue I would say is small bathroom and small sauna room. Now for the amazing part of my membership which is the MMA classes. I'm in love with taking the boxing/adult kickboxing classes. They are so fun and such a kick ass workout. I would love to see more woman take these classes. They're really good to learn self defense as well. My favorite coach is coach Phil. He coaches everyday besides Sunday at 10am. I promise you will have a good workout if you decide to try his class out. He also coaches boxers. Over all I highly reccomend this gym! read more

I've been going to this gym for a little while now, and overall it's a solid place. The equipment is in good shape, the space is clean, and it's never overly crowded when I'm there which I really appreciate. (I do go at 2am idk how it is during normal hours.) That said, I was a bit disappointed to find out that it's not truly open 24/7 only 24hours only on certain days. That was one of the main reasons I signed up, so it felt a little misleading. Also, it's a bit out of my way, so between that and the hours not being 24/7 (which is what I assumed when I seen "gym 24 hours" it makes me question the value for the price. I only can really workout right before work @1:30-2am due to me starting @4 and working late into the night most days. read more

Good: the people, distance to my house, and the price Bad: The gym is disgustingly dirty Machines are always broken There will almost always be one broken water fountain 10 out of 12 TV's have been off for over three years There are always NUMEROUS children running around the gym unsupervised Usually about 3 treadmills broken Water fountains have broken side panels The locker room lockers I don't think have been cleaned once since I started about 5 years ago There were no paper towels for about 3 years until I mentioned something to the owner 5 squat racks and two don't have mirrors Often missing pieces of equipment The sauna has more sweat and water stains then an ocean The "rules" are not enforced Any signage on the walls may stay up for years and be outdated The training and sales areas look like dirty yard sales with stuff all over the desks and floors Don't get attached to staff, they only last 6-12 months No one re-racks their dumbbells using a numerical system The yoga balls are all deflated The yoga mats have holes and tears, and probably never get cleaned by staff People walk around without shoes on or with slides read more

Got scammed out of training very over priced and they don't pay there trainers a living wage. The biggest loser competition is a way for the owner Brad to show off his accomplishments and not provide any sort of inspiration to people trying to make a difference. Don't come here if you want to workout. Getting parking is a pain, not to mention the security outside sucks and they had multiple break in and vandalism to cars. The gym parking is always packed because people park and go to the Dave and buster and field house. Kinda annoying when you have to wait over 30 minutes to start your workout when you're already at the gym and then have to wait even more for the right equipment to free up. At this point I don't even feel like going to the gym. Easier to just switch to another gym with less traffic. read more

I originally saw an ad on FB which Tommy followed up with me on. I was only curious but wasn't actually planning on signing up. I went in for an appointment, but was late so had to meet with Jake (I think that's his name, I forgot ) instead. I was sold that day. The programs for the kids, the kids watching station, the unlimited classes, the almost 24/7 hours, the machines, the layout, etc. Everything in that gym had me sold. I've had a membership for about a month or so and I am obsessed. Jake and Tommy were so excellent with customer service. They made sure to keep the gym in the back of my mind without making me feel pressured. Also I usually come to the gym during graveyard shift and idk the guys' names who work the shift but they're so kind and helpful as well. Absolutely recommend! read more

Vehicle break ins happen almost daily as there are no security cameras overlooking the parking lot. When asked why this is the case staff told me that it's not up to them, instead it's up to the manager of the mall who, despite receiving numerous complaints from staff and members, still has not had them installed. read more

I stopped by Fitness Quest at the recommendation of a friend. While the temporary space they are in currently doesn't have a lot of room, the plans for the new space are pretty awesome (coming soon!). The membership price is super reasonable so I signed up. But, the real reason I love it here so much is because of my personal trainer, Brodie. Brodie is by far the best trainer I've ever worked with. He'll make you work your butt off but, you'll have fun doing it. I'm so much stronger that I thought I could be and it's because of him (even if I cuss him out sometimes). I first stopped by here just to check out prices and compare their training prices with another gym by where I live. Everybody was super friendly and Brodie gave me a tour. I was very hesitant to sign up as it's expensive and a hard thing to commit to but Brodie offered for me to come in for free the next day and test it out. He is a great trainer and now I go in regularly for personal training sessions with Brodie, he is one of the best trainers I have worked with. I recommend BRODIE for all personal training needs as he is amazing. Kristina and Eric are so helpful and everybody is so friendly. Everybody greets you when you enter and exit. I love Kristina's nutrition program they offer, it's helped me with habits and I've learned so much. They also do free seminar's every Saturday that have lot's of knowledge. Every once and a while they do raffles and the atmosphere is so upbeat and motivating. I can't wait for the full gym to open as the current location is just a temporary space. When people ask me about gym preferences or training preferences I always try to send them to Fitness Quest in Auburn. read more

I joined Fitness Quest late December. The amount of information you receive and the compassion that each trainer have is unbelievable. I truly appreciate everyone here. I have gained so much knowledge in this short amount of time. I'm excited to see some extreme results. I'm excited about hitting the stage in July. Brody is an AMAZING trainer. I look forward being challenged every week with him. As soon as I think I'm going to rock a workout, he challenges me even more. He is patient but encouraging. Just what I need. Kristine is an educated, passionate, and serious nutritionist. So far, I have a different outlook on food. Food is not my enemy. I work out with my personal trainer, Austin! He kicks my @$$ every time with his workouts. I didn't think intense training was for me but I feel very confident just after two months of training with Austin, I'm actually eager to go to the gym now and lift heavy things! When I saw this gym I was like Damn, that's pretty small gym. But later my friend was so curious to ask them about those weird running machines so we went in. We met with Luke, he was really helpful and nice. He showed us all the cool stuff they have that I've never seen before. The monthly price is hecka low if you have family members who are interested in fitness. So me and 2 of my friends decided to get a membership. It's been like 2 months us going here and we are really happy. That guy Luke has been helping us all the time. Every time I was doing some exercise, he was eager to help me all the time. What surprised me the most is that he just comes up sometimes to me and just tells me some tips on how to do an exercise correctly. I'm also practicing Jiu Jitsu here with Eric. And yeah, wrestling classes every Tuesday and Thursday for free!!! read more

FQ is great, with an amazing and friendly staff. They have lots of great equipment and a new space in construction to open soon. You cannot beat the current price, that includes a personal training session a month. And truly, Luke and Kristina are the main reasons I drive 20+ minutes to the gym, instead of 5 to LA fitness. I went to Fitness Quest with the expectation of just trying their offer of a couple free training sessions then returning to my regular gym. There was no pressure during my first training session with Tommy and then when I told him where I have been going, he asked if I was an Active & Fit member. When I confirmed that my membership was Active & Fit through our health insurance, he informed me that their gym is part of that program so it was free to me. WooHoo! Sign me up was my response! Tommy then set me up with the ever popular Brodie for my free training sessions and I decided to invest in myself and buy more sessions. I love that they give you one trainer session (one on one - not group) for free each month as a member. I have many health issues and have had 2 surgeries since I began in November and Brodie has been very knowledgeable and understanding in accommodating my training to work with my limitations. The temporary space is somewhat limiting (especially without showers) but I am looking forward to the opening of the new, larger space that should have the equipment that I am currently missing along with locker rooms and a dry sauna. read more
