I've been coming here for a long time. I mainly come so I can workout with Kelly Waterlyn in her small group fitness /training sessions. I have also done some group classes. It's super convenient to my house which is also a big plus. The Desk employees are super friendly and helpful. It could use a makeover and some serious tlc. There are often cardio machines out of order for lengthy periods of time . Wish they would invest in the facility a bit and update it. There are a lot of members who use it regularly who would appreciate it. read more

Fitness Systems has potential, but it's been neglected for years. Only two treadmills actually work at a speed above 3 mph, and most of the other machines are either broken or poorly repaired. On top of that, the gym is infested with mosquitoes year-round. Many patrons bring bug spray with them just to make it through a workout without being swarmed. I've even left messages for the owner to call me about these issues, but I've never received a response. With proper maintenance and some attention from ownership, this could be a great gym--but right now, it feels rundown and ignored. read more

Hot, muggy, smelly I haven't finished an entire workout this entire summer becausei it's so hot I feel like I will black out. 82 degrees inside this gym not ideal we are looking forward to the end of our contract and will not be renewing . We have asked multiple times for them to turn on the AC if they do, they turn it down to 81 what a joke. read more

They don't know how to you the AC and always have the doors wide when it's over 90 degrees outside. Doesn't make sense. Way too hot to workout. read more

I recently signed up here, the staff was friendly and let me look around before I signed up. I go early in the morning and it's not too busy. They have a large selection of equipment. I signed up for the month to month at $49 a month, I didn't expect the $100 fee for signing up but overall happy with my experience here. read more

This gym is falling apart... Anthony the front desk guy seems to always have a problem when I forget my scanner card. Like everyone I forget my scanner maybe once or twice a week and he's always irritated to sign me in when it's his job. The equipment here is falling apart also if a machine is down don't count on seeing it available for at least a month. I would be able to over see the equipment issues as I can understand it takes time for parts and equipment to come in but as far as Anthony's poor attitude every-time I walk in that is why I'll no longer be coming here. On the next chapter of sweating your ass off in the gym. We have moved from the AC being turned off to the thermostats being completely removed from the wall. For a $50 membership I can't believe we are begging to not workout in a 84 degree building. This one is actually comical I can't even believe it read more

The only reason I continue to work out here is that it is close to home and that is it. The equipment is frequently broken, in the summer it can get really hot due to the AC not being on (trying to save on cost) and in the summer the gym is raided by mosquitoes galore due to the doors being open in the mornings. It is very hard to get a work out in when you are being attacked by mosquitoes. I am almost at night limit and may have to just commute to a different facility. read more

To start on a positive note. Lots of equipment available. On the negative, the facility is FILTHY including restrooms and equipment. Appears to have been months since anything was cleaned. Was interested in joining and the front desk help was less than helpful. I had to pay for a "day pass" and ended up leaving due to the cleanliness of the facility. Pretty scummy practices. Came in earlier this month to end my membership because my contract was about to end. They said I couldn't end it until the 13th. So I come back and they said oh well you're gonna hit another pay period so you're gonna pay for another month. My contract ends in February and you're going to make me pay through April. Piss off. Machines are broken and poorly maintained. Avoid it. You're better off going somewhere else or traveling a little. I had good things to say but they're overshadowed by this stupid contract and how you can't give notice till it ends and then they make you pay extra months after your contract ends. read more

The owner of this gym is completely unprofessional. Instead of acting like a business owner, he would rather act like a high schooler by bringing his personal issues to the gym causing long term members to leave. This says a lot with how loyal the customers have been over the change in ownership over the past decade. Along with the unprofessional owner the gym equipment is not well kept. It is such a shame that this gym has gone so downhill after the change in ownership. The only upside to this gym is the employees (not including the owner) and the members. read more

I've been going to this gym for about a year now. I never really had any problems regarding the equipment, even thought it's very poorly taken care of most of the machines i used were usable. But recently the gym has had a rapid decline when it comes to cleanliness and professionalism. I've seen so many roaches in the female locker room it's baffling. But that is not the main topic of this review. Their was an incident that i had with the owner and i refuse to be quiet about it any longer. There is a room where zumba, yoga and a bunch of other classes are held and usually it's open for people to use to go and stretch and do any other workouts they'd like privately when their isn't a class in session which is nice considering i struggle with gym anxiety and i don't like working out and having people look at me. Anyway it was about 9 o'clock at night and i was in this room because i like being out of peoples view and just being alone. I was doing donkey kickbacks so i was on my hands and knees and the owner walks in and says "well it looks like you're ready for a spanking" and laughs while he makes a motion with his hands as if he's spanking someone. I was extremely uncomfortable and caught off guard by this statement i didn't know how to react. Keep in mind i'm only 19 and I even had class with his daughter in high school who is only about a year younger than i am and i know for a fact any father would not want some grown man saying that to his daughter. And my dad also goes to this gym and the owner knows who my dad is. So the fact that this grown man who also claims to be a "business professional" who looks to be in his late 40's early 50's made a comment towards a young women who was alone in a room at 9 o'clock at night is absolutely concerning to me. I can't possibly fathom what other occurrences have happened to other women. I usually go to the gym with my boyfriend who is pretty well known in the gym and i was all alone when this happened. I know he wouldn't have the audacity to say that to me if my boyfriend was there. I felt preyed upon and harassed. Take this information as you will and I hope this will help you make a decision if you want to go to this gym. Thank you. read more
