Saw sale on line that indicated the products were available in the store. The parking lot was Empty. I walk in, and am greeted by a lady, and when I inquire about the chairs and prices I saw on line, she said their chairs started at $600 and there was no sale going on. When I asked if they might be in another store, she told me there weren't any. Soooo, I walked back out to the Empty parking lot and left. I wonder why there was no one shopping. I was excited to finally find a quality loveseat for my new space. I was impressed how my salesperson, Tamar, was knowledgeable, attentive and genuine. I was assured at the time of sale to expect 8-12 weeks for delivery. I'm offering a one star rating for the fact that, despite the pandemic, it took 23 weeks for my loveseat to arrive !! Although the salesperson called me 2x to follow up, this time frame was completely unacceptable. I was very patient and offered the benefit of doubt for the extreme delay. It came down to the store manager Doug, not willing to stand behind the products he sells. Great salesperson, unempathetic management. We all know a good business, starts with good leadership. Avoid avoid avoid. We purchased a custom ottoman from their in store custom line that was a couple thousand dollars. The sales lady was nice and that is where any compliment ends. When we received the ottoman the leather was so loose you could stick your hand down the corner and the tufting started to pull up in a matter of weeks. They agreed to pick it up and have it remade and set a pick up date. Nobody showed up. Called again and had to schedule another day. Took 3 weeks for pick up. We called today almost a month since the ottoman left our posession and the ottoman is still sitting in the warehouse. No progress has been made and they couldn't give us any time line. All they said is that they have emailed the manufacturer..... nobody ever seems to know what is going on. I will never buy from these people ever again. Go to Wolfes and save your sanity. read more

BEWARE and do your homework!! If you value your money and time, do not shop at Fitzgerald Home Furnishings! As soon as you walk into the store, you are greeted by a "consultant". The young lady who greeted me was pleasant and not pushy but to work out a deal she had to constantly speak with her manager, Tim. Tim obviously did not want to make a sell and it would have been to his advantage and the consultant's not mine! I fell in love with a recliner (purchase price $1,201.00) that fit my petite stature. I was told it would take 10-12 weeks (who ever heard of such and then didn't offer a discount of any kind!) to have it in stock and to have it delivered would be based on the total cost (again, ridiculous!) which would be approximately $169.00 and I could get a warranty for 5 years for another $149.00! Thank God and my son, when I returned to Fitzgerald to purchase the recliner, at cost (no discount), the consultant went to Tim and told him I was willing to pay cash (stupid me!); to purchase the floor model (Fitzgerald could wait the 10-12 week for a new recliner) and I would take it myself that day (so, no delivery fee); to close the deal. Actually, I also have to thank Tim because the consultant came back and said it was store policy "not to sell floor items"! I left dishearten debating whether to order or not but my son insisted I take pictures and research the recliner online. To my surprise, the recliner was missing a major component (swivel glider) so no wonder it fit me perfectly! Also, it was less expensive and will be delivered (free!) in a much shorter time! Lastly, I called the consultant back to tell her what I had discovered online. The female who answered the phone didn't know what she was doing - transferred me to parts so I had to call again and received no apology for her error...the consultant never apologized for having an unfinished recliner in the show room - and I am pretty sure the manager, Tim could care less about me posting this review. I'm genuinely surprised there were so many good reviews on this place...that's why I went there in the first place! But alas, I'm giving them a 2 star review:/ They have a lovely show room with a helpful staff and nice merchandise....overpriced but nice. I made the mistake of thinking that because they're more expensive, we'd have a hassle free experience. After scowering the floor, we found EXACTLY what were looking for....An entertainment center with a built-in electric fireplace in an espresso finish. Our sales lady was even able to have it delivered that day. Everything was great until it arrived. The delivery guys started pulling the fireplace out of the box and it looked like it had been used for batting practice! We pointed it out to the delivery guy, who was looking right at it and was going to install it anyway. We called the manager who initially tried to get us to keep it....not cool! We convinced him to take back the fireplace and he said he would have them come back a few days later to give us a replacement. Following that event, we decided to look over the entertainment center itself more closely and noticed that whoever put it together, did it incorrectly and consequently, damaged the entertainment center....so we called them back and told them we needed it replaced as well. Monday rolls around and the delivery guys show up, with only the fireplace. They had to turn around, go back to the store(mind you my plans for the day are screwed) and hours later, came back and finally, we had our undamaged entertainment center. In closing, if I hadn't diligently looked over my purchase, my $650 entertainment center would've been worthless. Not to mention the fire hazard that a seriously damaged electric fireplace poses....which makes me the most angry. So if you'd like to pay too much, possibly get a broken item and spend days trying to sort out their mess...shop at Fitzgerald. read more

We bought a coffee table, 2 end tables, an accent chair, and a sofa for ~1700. Good prices and the sales staff was nice. We shopped around at Value City and Ashley furniture and didn't find any decent accent chairs. The only negatives are that we had to special order pillows to match the accent chairs since the pillows come with the couch (doesn't make sense). Also, the sales lady was new and a little haphazard but was very eager to help. She forgot to arrange a delivery date and charge us for delivery, so we had to call on our way home to arrange. No biggie tho, they are delivering our stuff in 3 days! read more

I gave this place 1 star because 0 stars are not an option!! Horrible experience buying furniture. They delivered the wrong furniture! and the item they sent was defective. It took almost another month to receive the correct furniture (and they said that they were doing me a favor eventually sending the correct product) A manager or Supervisor of the store never reached out to me and they offered to mail me a coupon card for Fitzgerald Auto Mall as an answer for BAD customer service & the wrong defective furniture (a coupon they NEVER sent) I never write negative reviews, but this furniture place was THE WORST EVER!! read more

Avoid this company! I wasted 3 weeks and had to start all over again. I phoned them to find out if they had a tile that had been discontinued and they told me that they had found it and could order it for me. I was relieved and thought things were well. They charged my charge card for the FULL amount. Three weeks later after I had heard back nothing from them, I reached out to them only to find out they did not find the product. Who knows how long they knew this keeping silent about it. While they apologized, it still wasted precious time that was lost. Additionally, I was told by John the salesperson that all special order products are charged the full amount at the time of the order. I found out that this is not true, as the back of their invoice sent to me says, "SPECIAL ORDERS - 50% Deposit Required to place an order. No cancellation after 3 days from date of purchase. Allow up to 8 weeks for all special orders" Fortunately, I am advised I will get a complete refund, but I don't consider this good nor reliable customer service. I want to first start off with how welcoming the salespeople were. We walked in at 10am on the dot and was greeted and helped immediately. They gave us space to look around and were there when we needed them. Secondly, Gail, our saleswoman, was incredibly helpful and accommodating working within our budget. The manager of the store was able to accommodate the shipping time we needed (day of!) and everything went off without a hitch. Lastly, the delivery men were polite, extremely helpful, and speedy. After researching several furniture stores, my spouse and I chose Fitzgerald Home Furnishings Store. We needed a suite of formal living room furniture for our recently-purchased home. The challenge was deciding how many furnished pieces would appropriately fill our unusually-shaped living room. . . an octagonal shape with low walls and multiple tall windows. Gail, our Sales Associate, offered the services of the interior designer to help measure the space. Once we had precise measurements of the space and the low walls, they created a blueprint of the room. Thereafter, the process of selecting furniture was simplified. Gail helped us select a conversational couch, three chairs, a cocktail table and two side tables to blend with our current chair and two floor lamps. All of the items were custom, so, Gail had to diligently work with the manufacturer . . . to make sure we would have most of the items delivered before the holidays. We were expecting house guests and relatives, hosting a holiday dinner and planning our "open house". Unfortunately, we had two inches of snow/ice on delivery day. Fitzgerald Home Furnishings was very accommodating, and arranged for the furniture delivery two days later, days before our guests arrived. Our guests loved the large conversational couch and the club chair. The conversational couch is our favorite item; so comfortable! Kudos to Gail and the interior designer for simplifying the process and making sure the items arrived in a timely manner; both professionals were a tremendous help! Buyer beware! Over priced, non-quality furniture. Staff is unfriendly and rude. I could go just about anywhere and find much better deals on higher quality furniture. Not at all impressed.
