The only store that had it for pickup near me was the Target located in Mount Vernon, NY. After I submitted my order, I received an e-mail confirming that my order was processing. An hour later, I received an e-mail that my order is ready for in-store pickup at Mt Vernon and I had 3 days to go to the store to pick it up. It was a bit of a trek to get there from Queens, but not too bad since I left earlier in the day. Target is located on East Sandford Blvd and there is no problem finding parking as there are plenty of spots. Usually all Target locations have a very similar setup so it's not too unfamiliar. I went to Guest Services and showed the staff member my pickup barcode in order details and they brought my item to me. Since I was there, I of course had to look around. The aisles were very organized and stocked. The Target App is an easy way to shop and save. If there is a specific item you are looking for, the app will tell you the exact aisle and how many are in stock. It is also very helpful to let you know which items are available and the quantity at each store.

Hard to believe this used to be the Loew's American movie theater that I so remember coming to in…read morethe mid 80s- where I'd rather see 'Opera' or 'Re-Animator' for $2 Mondays instead of heading home to do school work. This theater came with a long fight to keep it in the neighborhood. But things evolved. Located across the street from Macy's in Parkchester, this space has been a good addition to the area after the movie theater closed down, remained vacant for a while and retrofitted several years ago to what it is now. I like the TJ Maxx-Marshall's family- because I know I can nab some designerish items that don't come with an eye-watering price tag. Layout is tidy for the most part and kind of on the smaller side- but they make up for it with Activewear and other sections on the top floor. Despite the home section being smaller than what I'm used to seeing at other Marshall's, there's a nice selection of wicker baskets in a wide range of sizes, planters, the wood cutting boards, etc. Plus service, has been nice the few times I've been here. Things have shaped up from what this space looked like originally. And yes- I got sentimental when I reminisced about coming to the Loew's American and sneaking in to the next movie without paying. I paid for the two pants. little did I know that a the system picked up two shirts instead of the pants. As my friends and I walked out of the store we were approached by a security guard who demanded that we showed him our receipts because it showed that we had walked out of the store with stolen items. We walked back to the store and explained and showed our receipts ( the security guar) did not believed us even though we insisted in him checking the camera system. He never did! after we insisted that we were not leaving the store with clarification, a sales person showed up and realized that the scanning system had picked up the wrong item. it was a total embarrassment. A couple of days ago, my friend and I went to this Burlington to shop, and we had a really…read moredisappointing experience. A security guard (who said he was the supervisor) told us we couldn't be in the store because we were "too young." For context, we are young adults, and we've shopped here many times before without any issues. We've never caused trouble, so this was confusing and unfair. He also claimed we couldn't stay because we might get kidnapped outside by a van, and told us we were only aloud in the store because "these nut jobs didn't do their job correctly" , which made no sense and felt like an excuse rather than a real concern. We decided to come back today, and at first, we were allowed in. But later, the same guard recognized us and started aggressively following us around the store. We were calmly shopping, not running or causing any problems, but he aggressively told us to "drop the basket" in a rude tone and forced us to leave. Even as we were putting our items back, he continued to criticize us and followed us out of the store. This treatment was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. We were simply trying to shop for summer clothes and did nothing wrong. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
