I attending a vendor event here the other day as a vendor and the place itself it's so cool! I've been here when it was the five and dime and what a transformation. I'm not a drinker so unfortunately I can't speak to the beer...BUT it's a cool place with good vibes. It's Bring your own food (which is weird to me lol) but everyone seemed to be having a great time.

Surprised my hubby for his bday with a small crew of 11. We ordered pizza from next door, sat upstairs on large couches and secured a nice table. We had a great time. Kid friendly during the day. Adults only from 8pm on. The band, The Exits, played live and they were fantastic!! We ordered a few flights to start off with. All of the beers were great! the upstairs was excellent for our group and the downstairs was convenient by the bar. i hear they have a rooftop during the summer months which I am drying to come back for. Great local place with street parking.

One of my friends recommended this brewery for a date night out & we absolutely loved it! They have a great selection of beers, fun games, and you can bring your own food! We ordered a pizza from town. Highly recommend this spot!

Shopping long the avenue and we stopped in for a beer. I had the Fruited Sour and it was yummy! I wasn't led astray when I asked if it was sour but not very, and the bartender told me it's not very sour. She said I like sweeter too. Indeed it was delicious! There are large tables, small tables, stools at the bar, and a fireplace area to sit. Great place for a party. People stopped in and brought food to sit and eat and drink. I wish I lived closer or I'd be here often.

This place has been on our list for a looooong time. My husband and I stopped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon. It was packed and loud. Despite it being busy we were able to order and received our drinks quickly. We found an empty table near the fireplace and it was a bit quieter there. We tried 4 different beers and all of them were great Marzen Pumpkin Fest Bier Valley Hefe I wanted to take Valley Hefe home but they didn't have any in cans. We will definitely be back ! Super happy that we finally tried this place.

Very nice local brewery. Lots of tables to sit and gather. Nice bar area. Good selection of beers for a local place.

PROS: This place was absolutely amazing. Staff was good, atmosphere looked rustic, drink menu was good, prices were great, two floors of tables, couches, and they allow you to bring in your own food cause they don't serve any CONS: Only street parking and they don't sell food so you'll have to get your own OVERALL: If I were you I would come here. It's historic, runs events like karaoke and trivia, and staff is welcoming

Loved the beer loved the area. Go to Trader Joe's that is right down the road and get snacks and then watch the games or hang out.

Love this beer, tab closing has had some rough starts in the first year because not every employee tells you that you keep your tab.

The drinks was ok. I had better and it was pretty sad that they didn't sell any food. Not even snacks or appetizers. Just straight alcohol.

Got there about 20 minutes after opening and sat at the bar. On Sundays they have happy hour all…read moreday. It's a very nice place. Very spacious and has dedicated parking. We ordered a few things. Spicy Tuna Tartare: wasn't spicy, didn't taste fresh which wasn't a deterrent to me as this isn't a seafood restaurant or fine dining. Next time I'd pass on that. Bavarian Pretzel: amazing. Very tasty. Came out nice and hot. That rarebit cheese sauce? Oh honey that can come home with me anytime. Absolutely delicious. And this is coming from someone who hates that fake cheese, cheese whiz type taste. Margherita Pizza: didn't come out hot which is probably why I wasn't a fan of it. It was pretty mediocre for such a basic pizza. And the food didn't come out all together, so not sure why that didn't come out hot. Wings and waffles: Tasty buffalo wings. The waffles actually taste like funnel cake which was a nice surprise. THEN. The burger came out and that is why this review dropped. It had a small hair on the side of the plate and a closer look at the rest of the plate, you'll see a long hair on the pickle. That was disappointing but happy to have tried the place nonetheless.

The Roosevelt is a themed restaurant, lounge, and speakeasy inspired by... you guessed it,…read morePresident FDR. For those who aren't history junkies, FDR ran on a platform calling for the repeal of the 18th amendment, Prohibition. During the Prohibition Era, speakeasies (hidden drinking establishments) popped up left and right due to the nationwide ban on alcohol sales, consumption, production, importation, and transportation. After his presidential victory, the 21st Amendment, ratified on December 5, 1933, officially repealed Prohibition. The restaurant's name is a celebration of FDR's repeal and how it impacted the American hospitality industry and economy as a whole. The interior is meant to transport customers back to the roaring twenties. Think flappers, The Great Gatsby, dim lighting, black/gold/burgundy colors, plush chairs, geometric wall patterns, vintage chandeliers, mosaic tiled floors, etc. There's four "sections" of the restaurant to dine in, each with a different vibe. *Lucy's Parlor - A hidden speakeasy named after FDR's mistress. This is my favorite space. They really went creative with the wall decor! There's black and white photos of Prohibition protests, as well as excerpts from love letters exchanged between FDR and Lucy. There's a small bar and a good amount of seating. Sophisticated, sexy vibe. *The Hide Out - A private and intimate dining space for a group of 4-6 people. You get special attention from the Executive Chef. They offer two seatings per night by reservation. *The Saloon - One of the main dining areas, complete with a large bar, high top tables, a fireplace, a vintage piano, and flat screen tvs. *The Dining Room - A formal dining area for private events and parties. It has a mahogany bar, skylights, and LED lighting. The drinks and food? Of COURSE they're on par with the theme. Most of the menu is elevated bar food, but they also have steak, pork chop, and seafood options. They have Happy Hour every day - all day on Wed & Sun and twice a day from Thursday-Saturday! DJs on the weekend. They even have a Sunday brunch! I've only had drinks, so can't speak on the food yet. I've tried... *Roosevelt Side Car (Courvoisier VSOP, Cointreau, syrup, and lemon juice with a sugared rim) $15 - Definitely a strong drink with a sour aftertaste! Not my favorite. *The Bee's Knees (Hendricks Gin, St-Germain, lemon juice, and honey topped with rose water) $15 - Refreshing, bright flavor and definitely on the sweeter side, but I loved it. Whether you want to sip on creative cocktails, book a private event, or enjoy a dinner meal, The Roosevelt is worth a visit.

I was really is disbelief when I walked through the establishment.  There as outdoor/indoor space for hookah was on the first floor. The upper level is where I spent the majority of the time. The bar was slow but that how it in a night club most times. The drinks were delicious. All the staff were friendly. There were multiple places throughout the establishment which were set up with a back drop to snap pictures.  The vibe on the top floor blew my mind. I never imaged there would be a place like this is Bergenfield. There were dancers on stilts, confetti, smoke machines, and a screen to watch the dj. I enjoyed myself.

Beautiful setting and great vibes if you are looking to chill out or party with your friends…read more Service was quite good but Food options was quite limited when compared to the Drinks Menu, and price was definitely on the higher end, which was still acceptable for such a spot. We had ordered Guacamole which tasted kind of bland and was just average. Drinks were pretty good though. My main issue was how they have setup their Hookah. Very limited Flavors to begin with and except for one, all other flavors were not so great. On top of that, they charge $10 extra to replace the Coals. $10 for COALS..?!?!? I have been to so many Hookah Lounges and this was the 1st we were ever charged for getting the coals changed. That is just atrocious. Switching the complete bowl with new flavor was $20, so obviously we ended up opting for that eventhough the 1st bowl/flavour was still good and just needed new coals.

We recently got married at Park West Loft, and it was absolutely perfect…read more We were looking for a smaller wedding venue with incredible food and an open bar, and Park West delivered exactly that. We truly wouldn't have changed a thing. Our guests raved about the food and drinks just as much as we did! Since the ceremony and reception were held in the same room, the space had to be flipped during cocktail hour. We were a little worried our guests would notice or that it might be disruptive, but not a single person mentioned it. The transition was completely seamless, which is a huge testament to Vikki and her amazing staff. We worked with Vikki throughout the planning process, and she was incredible. She was responsive, organized, and present every step of the way. She coordinated with all of our vendors, kept everything running smoothly, and was there in person on the wedding day, which made such a difference. I had mentioned a few small personal touches I wanted set up, and without hesitation, she took care of every one of them herself. When we returned to pick up our belongings, everything had been packed neatly and carefully, which was such a thoughtful touch. We toured several other restaurant venues while planning our wedding, and at one venue we were told the coordinator would help us plan but wouldn't actually be there on the wedding day. That didn't sit right with us. Having Vikki there throughout our entire celebration gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy every moment. Vikki and the entire Park West Loft team exceeded every expectation we had. From the planning process to the last moments of our wedding night, they made us feel genuinely cared for. We are so grateful for everything they did, and if we're ever planning another special event, Park West Loft will be the first place we call.

We would do it over the same exact way every single time. For a couple who loves NYC and wanted to bring the vibe to NJ (where my husband grew up), the ambiance of PWL was everything we wanted. The exposed brick is beautiful and the space is so beautiful. I had the best customer service experience of my life working with the venue coordinator, Chris Ryter. We could not have had the day we did without him. Chris took care of EVERYTHING for us from the actual day we met - things I would never have thought of. He made the entire process so seamless. Leading up to the wedding, I gave him a 5 page "master doc" with what we had envisioned in terms of decor/set up and the execution was flawless. The entire staff was checking on us the entire night if we needed anything - from a tide to go stick to a glass of champagne. The food was delicious and everyone had a blast at the bar. If you're nosy like me, these were the entree selections we chose: - Roasted Amish Chicken Breast with Mushroom Marsala and Roasted Fingerling Potatoes - Grilled Atlantic Salmon with Tomato, olive, onion & basil and Grilled Zucchini Squash - Baked Ziti basil, ricotta, mozzarella
