Fun fact about this place it is owned by one owner and is separated as like two restaurants I feel like one side is the casual vibe where you just wanna quick bite to eat as a pizza then you have the other side which is called Al dente fresh pasta.co the side we say on was the casual side so we went to the registered. Ordered what we wanted, and the two ladies that were there helped us out and told us a little history of the restaurants as she said we could sit on either side and we paid at the register and I have to say the food here it is so fresh and you can tell when you're eating it highly suggested especially the pasta chips which you must check my pictures cause it's there. Went for lunch for the first time with friends, my beauty of this restaurant is that it's next door to Al Dente and you can order from either or both restaurants! My gf ordered the fried zucchini and JP Rigatoni (please see my review of Al Dente) both were phenomenal! My other gf and I ordered from Luciano's, she had the Italian sandwich which she says was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Stromboli with caramelized onions, it was the best I have had in a very long while, the homemade bread makes it! Chef's kiss! Also the service was beyond extraordinary, I had asked for spicy cherry peppers on the side but the chef put them in my freshly made Stromboli, it was too spicy for me, so the waitress and chef both insisted they make another one at no charge. What a great addition to the neighborhood! Dropped in today to pick up a pizza for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. The staff was very warm and friendly (strong family owned local business vibes) and the pizza was hot and ready when I got there (you would think that's not a lot to ask for, but it's definitely something other establishments have struggled with). The pizza itself was delicious (and that says a lot coming from a former New York City native). The crust was very flavorful, the cheese and toppings were very fresh and well seasoned, and the proportions were pretty good. The restaurant itself was very cute and welcoming. Planning on coming back with family to try them again soon. It's too soon to say at this point, but this may become our new local pizza spot! read more

I originally gave this provider a rating of 3 -- and am now raising this to a 5. The owner cares about his business and their customers! To be clear, my only negative experience was related to delivery. The food is terriffic. They have like a dozen diffirent pizza options. We haven't tried them all yet, but each has been great. The delivery problems were with a service provider called Slice. They are fine, but have a somewhat klunky interface related to passwords managment -- and some of their drivers were less than wonderul, leading us to have some minor frustration. We switched to using Uber Eats -- and now we get great pizza at out favorite local brewery. Highly recommend Lucianos! read more

The pizza is clean, and decent but not up to par for the area. There are no remarkable flavors. No tang of the sauce, no saltiness or pull from the cheese, no crisp of the dough. It's clean and simple but lacking flavor. I'm hoping they make changes as I'd love to see them succeed as they seem really great. The pizza oven is a smaller table top oven. We decided to try this place for lunch based on a recommendation from a friend. The shop is attached to the pasta shop that is next door. We ordered ahead of time through the app, Slice. When we arrived to pick up the order, it was ready. I had the imported Italian sandwich. The sandwich was huge and loaded with so much meat! My only complaint was that it had a little too much oil and vinegar on it. My husband had the porchetta sandwich, which was delicious. This is a sandwich that you normally can't get around and is an authentic Italian sandwich. I would definitely order this sandwich again. We also picked up a few slices of pizza to have for dinner. We had the chicken parm slice, which was my favorite, I loved the chucks of ricotta cheese. Then the drunken grandma, which was tasty. Lastly was the sausage ricotta roll which was our least favorite. We will go back to try this spot again. You can go there for lunch or dinner. I had A LOT of people refer me to this pizza/pasta establishment in Westwood. The other night I got my car serviced in the area and thought this is a great chance to stop by and check it out. I walked in and the place was very nice and very clean. They had a good selection of slices on display and the girl behind the counter was extremely nice and very helpful. Most people and most reviews of this place pointed to one place...The grandma pie! And so I ordered the sober grandma pie which had a 25 min wait. The display looked VERY saucey, so I ordered it with light sauce on top. I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I did not. Their ingredients were very fresh and their sauce was wonderful! The problem for us was the bottom crust; it was very very chewy, almost like sourdough. Given how good the sauce was, im guessing the margherita probably would have a better choice for us. I really dislike leaving negative reviews, but the reality is that I spent $25 on a meal I could not eat. read more

3/5 Luciano's Homemade in Westwood has been one of my absolute favorite local spots since they opened. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is usually warm and efficient, and their garlic knots--especially with extra garlic--are a regular comfort food for me. It's part of my weekday routine, and I've recommended this place to so many friends and family over the years. That's why tonight was so disappointing. I came in less than 30 minutes before closing--something I usually avoid, but I had to work late and was really craving their garlic knots. I asked for one order, and the young woman working the register put them in the oven. Then I asked for a second order, and she paused, gave me a lingering "uhhh," and made a face that made it seem like I was asking for something unreasonable. I told her it was okay if it was too late, but she said she had already put them in the fridge but could still make them if I wanted. I said yes, albeit reluctantly--feeling like I was inconveniencing her. But here's the thing: she took the second order of knots out of the fridge right in front of me, just like she did with the first one. There wasn't any extra prep involved--it's not like she had to roll out dough or make them from scratch. She literally just popped them in the oven. So I don't understand why her reaction made it feel like such a big ask. And then the worst part: she barely warmed them. They were in the oven for maybe two minutes before she packed them up, and by the time I got home (2 blocks away and I drove so it took less than 2 minutes) they weren't even lukewarm. On top of that, I asked for extra garlic--something the staff usually goes the extra mile for by taking them back to the kitchen to add more after baking--but she skipped that step entirely. I truly hate being the last customer at any place and wasn't trying to cause trouble, but I also don't think I should feel guilty for coming in during open business hours and ordering a couple of garlic knots. So while I'm giving this visit 3 stars, it's only because of all the other amazing experiences I've had at Luciano's. I still recommend it and will continue to come back--but if I walk in and see this particular young woman working the register, I'll think twice. Her attitude and service made me feel like a nuisance, and I left disappointed. Luciano's overall? Still 10 stars. Her service tonight? Zero. read more
