Seriously??? There was a time you could have had a steak dinner for two for this price. It's only hamburgers people!

Prior to this visit one of my husband's favorite burger places was Five Guys. Tonight we walked up to the counter & both of our eyes widen when we saw the new higher prices on the board. Our order was called. Hubby returned to the table & proceeded to unloaded each of the burgers from the bag. He was shocked at the next discovery. Seems they no longer give you a bountiful serving of fries. This was officially the last straw or should I say the fry that broke the camel's back for us. We have accepted that restaurants costs have increased & they have to "pass it along," but this one set both of us off & will likely cost the business 2 loyal customer as a result. It's just a few fries, but sometimes that's all you have to look forward to on a crappy day. Not cool Five Guys...not cool!!

Just wanted to start off with I love the customer service here and the food is always great and fresh. You can smell the grease when you walk in and it's an amazing smell. Managers will go out of their way to make you a regular and I love that it's something every restaurant needs. This review would have been 5 stars but for the past two times they have been stingy on the fries and it sucks so much because you pay 5+ dollars for the fries so they should have a good amount :(.

Great burgers, incredible fries... horrible prices and the welcoming ambience of an extremely large Men's room.

Unfortunately, when I went to order, I was told they were out of rice and not serving it. Very disappointing. I decided to try the 10-piece lemon pepper wings instead and specifically asked for all flats. The order taker said it could be done. However, when my food came out, the wings were mixed. My husband spoke with who I assume was the owner, and she explained that they don't typically sell all flats because it leaves them with too many drums--which is understandable. However, that should have been communicated upfront, as I likely would have ordered something else or chosen to go elsewhere. The dining area also took away from the experience. The tables were filthy, and we had to ask for ours to be cleaned before we could even sit down. To make matters worse, most of the fountain drinks were out. I settled for fruit punch, which unfortunately wasn't good. My husband and son received their meals, and overall, the food was just average at best. Between the unavailable menu items, miscommunication, cleanliness issues, and overall quality, this experience fell short of expectations. We will not be returning.

The atmosphere was upbeat, and I liked the wooden beams and old feel. The first 2 things we wanted to order they didn't have. We ordered shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, I ordered smothered chicken and my husband ordered the ribeye - medium. Our shrimp cocktail never came and when the waitress brought our meals we told her to just cancel the appetizer (since it didn't come anyway). No apologies , not a blink of an eye, just said okay and walked away. His steak was well done not medium, and dry to boot. When she finally came to check on us, he politely told her that she could take it back as it was not what he ordered, again no apologies. Of course when she brought our check which they did comp for a large percentage of the steak, she then apologized for his meal, I feel at that time because she was trying to save her chance of a good tip. To me food is half of the food experience , service is the other half. They dropped the ball on both counts today. Oh and the front door constantly was left open when customers came or went and due to that we had 2 flys that bothered it the whole meal.

This would be a perfect place for larger groups such as family get togethers, celebrations, while still seating couples and others. And the portions versus the price point seemed very reasonable to me. They boast a Southern Coastal Cuisine so I went with the Fried Flounder Sandwich dressed in southern slaw and a side of tartar sauce. Served on a Niedlov's (Bakery in Chattanooga) grilled artisan hoagie bun. It was delicious. Crunchy crust and a tender moist fillet on the inside. And that Creamy Dreamy slaw was amazing. Their Fried Chicken Tacos is a must try too. Three hot chicken tenders in four tortillas, topped with corn salsa, cojita cheese, and jalapeño lime ranch. It was an Oh My Gosh experience. They have a very nice outside covered patio that's pet friendly and it all sits on a very large parcel with nice greenery and impressive landscaping. And it looks like they do a very brisk take out business too as I seen many orders being picked up. Awesome cocktails, attentive and responsive service all at a fair price. Definitely a place you want to check out.

Not in the staff but there are some minor interior issues which could be addressed. As the dining area and service areas are open plan you can easily see the duct tape doors to the dishwashers area is in dire need of repair versus patching. Also it is rather filthy along the edges. The wall a/c unit also needs to be completely cleaned as it appears to have some grime building up. Now for the biggest disappointment ... our food. Coffee - yummy Country fried steak biscuit..... yea nope not again. It's just like it says just a huge very thin slice of commercial packaged frozen patty of country fried steak laid across an open faced biscuit. I had a side of fresh fruit. But it was mostly out of season fruit so not sweet and still underripe. Biscuit was light and fluffy but I had to order a piece of cheese and some gravy to hide the flavor of the meat and coating. Chicken and waffles - husband's favorite here but today it wasn't the same at all. Chicken was super dry inside. Waffles he described as no different than ones he makes at the hotel lobby. They recently added a food truck and it is just as good. We tried it at The Outpost from Drowned Valley Brewing on Euharlee Creek (near Cartersville). A compact but flavorful menu featured the best food truck meal we've had to date (that includes lobster rolls, craft pizza, Phillies, Asian, etc.) Our new favorite: fried ribs. Five meaty ribs with light breading and just enough fry taste. We were cautious; our annual cardiologist visit was three days off. No worries; this was perfect. The side was a healthy helping of fresh potato salad. We paired it with Drowned Valley's just-released summer shandy (3.5 percent ABV). Also good: Chicken tenders with fries. We've added Salt & Pepper mobile to our stalking list as we'd do this again tomorrow. It was the best $18 we've yet to spend at a food truck. Service: excellent. Fast and you carry a buzzer that tells you the order is up. Ambiance. A food truck with a convenient design and friendly folks making magic inside. How good? We're trying to convince them to open a brick-and-mortar closer to Rome, Ga.
