As I stated in my review 10 months ago, this location has really turned it around. They are consistently providing excellent service with efficiency and friendliness . Every once in a while they'll short change you on the fries, but 95% of the time everything is perfect. A couple of notes, if you order for mobile pick up, they will prepare the burgers Pretty much right after you order but they wait to make the fries until you get there. Therefore, you should wait to order until you are within 5 to 10 minutes of arrival. Otherwise your burgers will be lukewarm. But no matter what at least your french fries will be fresh from the fryer and hot and crispy. As a sidenote, they have tipping available at the front credit card machines when you order, and per the employees they do get 100% of the tips and it's shared between all the employees. read more

Just called the Hanover, Maryland location. The guy I was speaking to (seemingly of Spanish decent, just as a matter of voice description) hung up on me during our conversation. I was asking him if the food orders that are picked up by food delivery drivers are sealed. The last time I ordered, which was several months ago, the bag with the fries was opened (and there was no seal). When I tried to call back immediately, the calls went to voice mail and continued to go to voice mail for at least 10 minutes. Terrible customer service experience. If people don't like their jobs, they should resign. A zero star rating, though unavailable, would have been too high. read more

I love five guys and i have to say i love this lovation!!! Five guys was a treat when it opened it hawaii. Now i know its more on the expensive side, but it is a treat. Probably not what you want to spend on for a quick burger but def a treat. The fries are amazing and fried perfectly and crispy. The burgers taste very greasy im a good way. You can pretty much add any toppings you want. The workers at this specific location are fantastic. There was a time that i placed my order online but didnt go through. They were very helpful and made my order very fast and i was grateful. You can tell the workers here work hard and have great attitudes. Literally the WORST Five Guys I've been to in almost a dozen states. I ordered an Uber Eats meal and they either never made it or gave it to the wrong driver. My actual driver was told "someone else picked up the order", which was NOT true. I never got any food and the app never reflected a driver had been assigned to pick up the food whatsoever. When I called Five Guys for more info, the "manager" told me that my order would be remade for the next available Uber driver to pick it up. When the next Uber driver arrived, they reneged and refused to remake + provide my correct order. Then, they gave my new Uber driver SOMEONE ELSE'S ORDER to bring to me. My Uber driver immediately tried to correct this before leaving the store but the staff never bothered to take back the food so that it could be available for the right driver. This is probably EXACTLY what happened to my food (if they ever made it at all) - they just nonchalantly gave it to someone else. I understand mistakes happen and would have been willing to forgive the mix-up had they corrected it. Sad that they are too cocky + disrespectful to simply remake the food when THEY made a clear error here. It would have been obvious in the restaurant version of the Uber Eats app that the food was never picked up, so therefore I couldn't have possibly received it. read more

I hadn't been to a Five Guys in at least 5 years, and it wasn't my favorite then... This one (the first time I'd been to this location) was better than I remembered, so that is something. I got the bacon cheeseburger and a medium cup of fries, no drink, and was shocked that the bill was over $17!!! I had to wait for my food to be made up fresh, which is nice. There were lots of "best burger" award posters on the walls. Interestingly, many of them did not have the dates on them, and those that did, were pretty old! There are no more buckets of peanuts on the tables, at least here. When I finally opened my to-go bag at home, I was surprised at this ginormous burger and huge helping of fries. Call the complaint number and an area manager will most likely call you back and try to rationalize that it's not their fault. Big fan, but Baltimore has a lot of great places that serve burgers. Non this fast. The old man at the counter is not my favorite. He has an attitude for some reason. I am overly polite and I guess he is not a fan of questions. hmmm The burgers are fresh and made in front of you with an amazing selection of toppings. The hot dogs are also a treat. I am not a big hot dog fan and these are incredible. Try one with cheese and onions. They are sick. The fries tend to be a little different each time. Sometimes more salt or seasoning than others. Five Guys make awesome burgers! They are very accommodating with my gluten allergy, as you can order your burger in a bowl or wrapped in lettuce. Their fries are good, the seasoned fries are a bit spicy. This location has friendly staff and the awesome mix your own Coca Cola machines. read more

I stopped in this location last night with my sister and brother in law. We were the only people in line and nobody acknowledged our existence for a good 5 minutes. The cashier was on the phone and talking to the employees at the grills. The employees weren't busy making other food, they were just standing around. I would've appreciated a "someone will be with you in a moment". I don't have complaints about the food. I have been to Five Guys before, and I always get the Little Bacon Cheeseburger and fries and sometimes a drink. I like to eat the peanuts as I am awaiting my food to go. Tasty burgers and fresh fries! I also like the hot dogs - they toast the bun, yum! I don't love them though. I generally get the Little Cheeseburger with a lot of toppings and fries. They give loads of fries! By the time I get back to my office, the bag is saturated in grease! It is what it is - you don't go here for your heart health. They have vinegar on the counter for your fries and you can order them cajun style, too. This is a solid burger place. For drinks, they have standard soft drinks and iced tea. read more

Another review (not sure if it was for this location or a different one) offered up Five Guys as an alternative to In-N-Out on the West Coast... No, no, no, no, nooooooo... I am not a die-hard In-N-Out fan by any measure, but some days, that is just what I want, like after a cross-country flight with 1 layover where I only ate 1 packet each of peanuts and pretzels. My fiancé asked what he should bring when he came to pick me up, but I was disappointed to be told that there is no In-N-Out here. (Say whaaaat?) We decided to try Five Guys instead. I was doubly disappointed. This is the second Five Guys Burgers that I've been to, and I just don't get the hype. The other location I went to was clear across the country in San Diego. Since my experience at both locations are similar, I have to assume that this is simply how they serve their burgers, not that it was an off-day when I went. The entire burger was lukewarm, to the point where the cheese had never really melted. We ate in the store, so it's not like the cheese had time to cool down. That's one of my pet peeves about burgers; I don't like solid or semi-solid cheese. The grilled onions weren't put with the cheese, but somewhere on top, after all the other ingredients. They ended up getting lost, and had a different effect than the animal-style In-N-Out burgers, where you have the grilled onions stuck to the meat patty by gooey cheese, so that you always get some in every bite. There was also some confusion with our order. I asked for a burger with "everything BUT ketchup and mustard," which seemed to confuse the cashier for several minutes, until we just gave up and let her give us whatever she wanted. Also, "everything" isn't really everything? It only includes half of the potential toppings. Apparently, some sort of sauce IS necessary, because the burger was a bit dry. Not enough to hinder eating it, but enough to make it less tasty. All in all, it was a very lackluster experience. Went to 5 Guys on Boston St cause my son really wanted to go. I got a BLT with the works, which I have gotten before at the Whitemarsh location and loved it. Even though it had a fair amount of bacon, the bacon was dry. What! Dry bacon. It was precooked and set aside for such orders. It didn't even have a strong bacon taste. The bun was smashed and broke in half. I did not enjoy this at all. The whole sandwich was dry...smh. Don't think I will be back to that location. read more

Standard belly bomb. It tastes good but makes you feel like you did just consume over 1,000 calories. They screwed up my order by adding bacon instead of mushrooms and that is pretty standard for this location. I don't eat Five Guys a lot but when I do I usually expect my order to be right.
