This location has really slipped. It does not require exceptional intelligence to read an online order and prepare it as placed...but it does require some and a little care and pride. This location of Five Guys has failed to make our burgers as ordered on multiple occasions. Used to there were more than enough fries for 2 people but now we get less than enough for 1 person. Call to complain and the person who answers the phone mumbles something entirely unintelligible. Ask to speak to the manager and the explanation for all of the above becomes immediately clear. read more

Thinking about going to Five Guys here in Baton Rouge had me very excited. I wanted to visit the location in Houston but never made it. So when I heard they were here in BR, I was more than ready. The location is great, right in the middle of Towne Center! The place was packed, with a line out of the door (usually a great sign!). I dug the atmosphere here. Free roasted peanuts to snack on was a great surprise!! Ordering was easy and straight forward. Now to the meal.... Portions were awesome! Bang for your bucks here. Fries were fresh and hot. There are either the original or Cajun. Both are good! Love the options within the free toppings section for burgers Then I lost my groove with the meat. When it comes down to it, the meat is bland and unseasoned. I now know why Five Guys offers all the free toppings that you could ever want. It is the mask that the burger itself has no umph at all. Burgers and fries are good, nothing special. Fries cooked in peanut oil. Not a very healthy option. Overpriced! $11 for a cheeseburger, Small fries and a small drink. They give you fries in a small cup and that would be sufficient for the small fry I ordered. But then they basically give you another another full portion overflowing into the bag. I ordered and expect to pay for a small fry, not enough to feed three people for $2.79. Maybe give an actual small portion of fries and get rid of the free peanuts and drop your price. Hamburguesa deliciosa! I love the burgers here and they are very consistent. There is plenty of room to enjoy your burger inside and they keep it pretty clean. They offer many condiments including vinegar for dipping your fries (my favorite). The toppings are aplenty and you can expedite the process by reading the menu and the way to order your burger. If your terribly hungry you can enjoy some peanuts and hang out until they call your number. Just be sure to double the patty, double the fun! read more

Finally someone managed to find a way to make an overly expensive whopper! The main reason my boyfriend and I went there was because I saw a video on youtube about this guy singing about how good the burgers were and for the price we spent on the food, I was expecting an orgasm in my mouth, but instead, I got what tasted like Burger King's whopper. The fries were ok, its like regular fries with some seasoning, nothing too special. You do go out with a big bag of fries, but I would have rather left with more money in my pocket instead of a greasy bag with mediocre fries. A whole new level of incompetence. We send someone 20 mins to go for Five Guys. Give us a completely wrong order. Than we taste the wrong order and go, "is this even Five Guys? It taste like garbage!!!" We call the manager, Walter, and he tells us he will replace the order, that's the best he can do. read more

I was told this is the best burger place in town. I have had much better. Got a cheese burger with bacon and Cajun fries. The burger had a lil bit of bacon. The burger was bland, no flavor if it weren't for the fixings on it. The Cajun fries were so so because they had too condiment and the flavor of the potato was not there. It was expensive not economical at all. Unless in a rush, try going elsewhere. Maybe we'll try getting a regular cheese burger with regular fries next time. read more

It was my first time in a long time going to five guys so I didn't realize how it worked. The lady at the register was impatient with me and made me feel uncomfortable. She didn't ask me what size I wanted for anything. I thought the meal was $8.00 but as it turns out, only the burger is $8 and small fry is close to $4. The food is good, but you should always pay with cash. My debit card was charged several times for one purchase and after speaking to the manager and the owner, I have yet to see a refund of my money. I was assured that the money would be refunded, but that was weeks ago. IF I ever go there again I would be sure that I pay with cash. I go to this Five Guys quite a bit since I work across the street. The service is pretty quick, quick enough for me to actually enjoy my break. We eat here probably twice a month. Great burger and my husband loves the fries. In Memphis they have shakes so it would be nice if they had them at every location. There burgers are good, juicy and messy which makes for a yummy treat ! The add ons are free and plenty to choose from. They are usually busy but quick so don't worry about a line when you drive up. A good, greasy burger without the bells and whistles. If you don't feel like consuming your entire day's worth of calories on a single burger, opt for the burger junior instead. Yeah, they give you lots of fries. A "small" could feed a moderate-sized starving country for a few days, but they're greasy and soggy. The burgers are good, but again, very greasy.
