Part of a Regular Fries (rest is in the bag)

We went for lunch on a Saturday. Busy, but not crowded. I hadn't been there since they added the ordering kiosks, not sure how I feel about them. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean. Food was great as usual. My husband tried the new patty melt burger ($8.95)-he loved it! I hadn't the little bacon cheeseburger ($8.95) and my son had the double patty bacon cheeseburger ($10.95). They were great! The fries ($5.95-enough for 3 people) are awesome! Everything was hot and the toppings were generous! Now, everything was put together a little too quickly and messily, but the taste was great!

I came not too long before closing but the customer service was great and it didn't take long to get my food. Everything was hot and fresh. I was able to sit and eat and no one rushed me because it was close to closing time either. The music was nice and I just sat there and ate my burger and fries it was more than enough I was full and I had to take my fries with me

Burger tasted good but didn't like the service Was my first time ordering, didn't know what toppings are available and what combination will taste goods. Could've given me some suggestions instead of kept saying you can make what ever I want

Really great burgers, one the best around town. Fries are good too. The service was pretty good. I really liked the environment of the new restaurant.

Tonight I had a visit to fiveguys because I wanted to eat. But it was actually more crowded tonight than usual so I accepted to wait, but what I received was a cake with a package of undercooked meat. Please give me the answer I deserve

This was my first time having Five Guys in years and it was pretty decent. I had always remembered it for being super greasy and just alright but I will say I enjoyed it more this time than I did in the past. This kind of burger is exactly what I want when I'm in the mood for a burger. The only flaw about the burger was that the bacon was just too crispy and just not great. Their fries were soft yet crispy and they gave me so many extras which I was super happy with. There is definitely nothing wrong with this location so that's not the reason I'm giving it less stars. I went inside to order my meal to-go and the worker I interacted with was helpful and nice. I ordered my meal and it was done within 5 minutes of being ordered which was nice. The location was clean as well. The only reason I'm giving this place lower stars is because of how expensive it is and because of how they don't have combo deals. I find it incredibly ridiculous that I paid $20 for a bacon cheeseburger and fries (no drink) when that's usually sit-down restaurant prices. If you're a huge fan of Five Guys, then this location is a great one for you. However, the chain as a whole is just not worth going to very often due to their prices.

This is a tasty burger. I have heard the hype surrounding Five Guys, but since there isn't one near me, I had yet to experience the goodness that is their burger. I was in Baton Rouge for most of the week and I wanted a good burger. This was our last lunch in BR and it was great. We arrived during the lunch rush so this place was packed. We placed our order and were number 29. When I heard the server say number 11 was ready, I got a little nervous thinking we wouldn't get served for a long time. That was not the case. Five Guys has figured out how to handle crowds. There were at least 11 workers making burgers and fries and an additional two employees cleaning tables. Our number was called so we sat down and chowed down. This burger is the best burger I have had that only cost five dollars. The burger was juicy, well dressed and had wonderful beefy flavor. I had ordered a regular fry, but in the bag were more fires than were actually in the fry container. I couldn't imagine how many fries come to a large order. The fries were equally wonderful and homemade. Stacked around the restaurant were sacks of fresh potatoes just waiting to be cut and dunked in hot grease. I highly recommend this place. If someone opens one near me, they will earn significant profits based on my visits alone.

Messy, great burgers with many topping options. Large fries are LARGE. Tables tend to be a little messy.

We went around 5/6 pm on a Friday, which was early for dinner and it was obviously not that crowded. We were greeted quickly at the counter where you place your order and the lady who helped us was very nice. I loved the decor and vibe in the restaurant. I got the Boudin Balls and the Chuck Norris Dawg and my bf got the Italian dawg. The portion sizes were huge and I ended up having leftovers. The restaurant isn't big, but has more seating than it looks like from the outside. When we walked in, we were greeted by Harman and he made some excellent recommendations for us. He told us what his favorites were on both the restaurant week menu and the regular menu. The boudin egg rolls were good and the sauce on top of it was the perfect pairing for it. The Mac and cheese and was so rich and it was a larger portion that I was expecting. The shrimp wrap was a nice balance to the heaviness of the Mac and cheese and it was a refreshing taste. Not pictured, but the sweet potato fries for dessert were delicious and the caramel sauce on them is something I would buy bottles of. Everything is made to order, and with the amount of fried food on the restaurant week menu, it did take a while for us to get our food and we had to get our dessert to go to get back to work. I can't wait to go back and try some of the rest of Harman's recommendations.

"The Schnitzel" has been my close-to-campus late night hot dog fix since I can remember, and it's still around somehow while nearby fast food chains have come and gone. Should you go out of your way to get a dog here? Nah, but it's nostalgic. I mean, look at their building - it hasn't changed since the 1980's! AND PEOPLE STILL GO HERE, making that drive-thru line long! They're using advanced, modern-day AI computers to take your order in the drive thru! They selling out of merchandise! They sell cans of their own chili!! So don't come here with high expectations. It's chili dogs, french fries, and a taste of Baton Rouge nostalgia that'll let you share stories with people double your age who remember getting $1 hot dogs after staying out late at The Bayou, or seeing a band at The Spanish Moon.

It was hot and juicy and flavorful. I want all too impressed with the toppings on the trash can dog (fries, cheese). The jalapeño poppers were delicious as well. Also some of the best I've tasted. Crispy freshly fried outside. Grease didn't taste old. Tiny pieces of jalapeño with cheese inside that's spicy but not overbearingly so. I tried their fish and chips because they were battered and I was expecting s Captain D's/Long John Silver taste and I got bland and chalky. The fries were greasy and didn't taste the best. My daughter's hamburger patty was very pale and she status it tasted weird after just one bite. It's very small. Window service or drive thru only. We'll be back though. The hot dog and poppers are worth it.

The decor screams pure Americana and is one of the biggest draws for the many patrons that come through daily. My favorite part is their juicy burgers. Pair it with their crispy fries and their old school milkshakes, and one has a complete meal. The burgers are hearty, and the portions are substantial. They also have salads, other sandwiches (tuna is my go-to), and various options for loaded fries. The other awesome part are the prices. Minus the double cheeseburger, there are no items that exceed $10 on the entire menu. The staff is young and always enthusiastic, and they play a big part in making this place such a destination. We always eat inside, unless we are just getting a shake, then we use the drive thru. The service inside is always great, it's always clean and the food is typically brought you in a very timely manner for being cooked to order. The burgers are always juicy and contain a really good sear. The taste of beef and really good rendered beef fat is the flavor you get first. Which in my opinion, I want the great taste of seared beef and the juices to carry the burger. Not a sauce, not a bun, the beef. Shake Shack uses Martin's potato buns, which is the best bun for burgers. Other buns may work however, Martin's potato buns the best. This is the type of burger that doesn't even need condiments, however their shack sauce is good but very similar to other burger sauces. Their Chicken Shack has also been very good when I ordered it a few times. Chicken is hot and crispy. The pickles are good but the herb aioli is a must. Get extra on the side, it's really good with the sandwich and fries. I tried the limited time BBQ rib sandwich, it was also very good. However, not as good as the burger or chicken sandwich. It's a shame but also not horrible the best burger in Baton Rouge comes from a chain. It's disappointing because just like pizza, Baton Rouge does not have any great options. Shake Shack being the best available in Baton Rouge isn't a bad thing though because it's a really good to great burger and two, because of all the chain places it's arguably the best. You could argue Five Guys or In N Out, but I have had all three and Shake Shack is the best in my opinion as far as chains go.
