I love Five Guys! I always find that Five Guys knows how to deliver a consistently fresh, quick and delicious burger and fries - this location in Bozeman is no different! When you walk in, you'll recognize the same expected red and white ambiance with large grills full of fresh patties, fryer baskets full of fresh cut peanut oil fries, and assembly lines of people placing fresh toppings on burger buns. Can't go wrong here, it's by design. I don't know why anyone would ever settle for a fast food burger when this is an option. With that said, I suggest trying to eat "there" vs. getting to go. Maybe it's nostalgia, but to me, it just tastes better that way. Pretty good burgers here. You come right in and place your order. It's cool because you can add any items your want to your burger. They have a list of like 25 different items including peppers etc. The cheeseburger came out hot. It looked like some one mangled my bun tho. It's was pretty good tho. The fries were pretty hot too. I used to love Five Guys. Went there today and had a terrible experience. Their COVID protocols are horrible! They did not enforce masks, it was crowded with no attempt on distancing (people were standing shoulder to shoulder), and the cook fist-bumped a customer, and went right back to making burgers with that hand. People, this is serious, we are in a pandemic! I will never go there again. Lots of other burger joints around who take their customer's safety more seriously. read more

I will admit that I've gotten some pretty good burgers at 5 Guys, but lately including yesterday, the burger was absolutely tasteless. I'm not sure how they can screw up a burger, but they manage, not to mention, the fries are way over salted. A few weeks ago we got another set of tasteless burgers and I swore then I would not go back, but yesterday after fasting for 24 hours for some medical stuff I was hungry and thought a burger and fries would hit the spot. Boy was I wrong. We've eaten at 5 Guys in Idaho Falls and it's always been good. The Bozeman restaurant is typical Bozeman, inconsistent. You would think the number 3 ranked college town would have several places where you could get a great burger but I've yet to find them and 5 Guys is certainly not one of them. read more

I stopped at the Five Guys at 2855 N. 19th Ave., Bozeman this Sunday night (8:48 PM, 7/11/21). I ordered two cheeseburgers in a bowl with lettuce, pickles, mustard, and mayonnaise. I have a few complaints. First, my primary complaint is the rudeness of the staff working. I was surprised that my order took longer than the order after mine, which was a larger order. I thought of saying something to the staff, but since my order was only a few minutes after theirs, I decided to just take my food and leave. This is where the rudeness took place. The child giving me my order said "enjoy the rest of your day." At this time I was upset that the order had taken so long that I just picked up my order and turned around, only to here the boy say "Or Not!" So, you're slow making my order and if I don't acknowledge your fake "enjoy the rest of your day,". You're going to get snarky. Sorry boy, but if I was the manager you would be out of a job! I turned around and quoted his "or not" comment only to be ignored by him and laughed at by another employee, I believe his name is Wyatt. To add to my terrible experience, when I opened my order I realized they made it incorrectly! I hope all the Five Guys are not this poorly run. Our family has ordered from Five Guys a couple times in the past sixty days and both times the burgers were really bunged up compared to what we really ordered. We noticed the reason why--a lot of the staff appeared to be high. Especially the gal taking our order who was super fly high. It made me smile and chuckle but as a boss myself I have ZERO tolerance for these kind of juvenile employees. And Five Guys isn't exactly a low priced menu stop so they should be able to pay a living wage in this town and avoid hiring the stoners. read more

Other locations are generous with their fries - this one is not. The biggest issue? The place isn't clean. It's filthy. Pickup was fine but order was all kinds of screwed up. Burgers were sloppy, mushy, and falling apart. Got my kids both regular cheeseburgers with Mayo only and instead we got doubles with ketchup. I love 5 Guys and usually enjoy it. Today, however, was a different story. I ordered online for the first time and was not sure if I needed to tell the cashier. I walked up to the counter where the fry guy is standing and asked him if I needed to let someone know. He answered very rudely that yes he had my order but it would be a while since we ordered fries...odd but not an issue. He then proceeded to continue cursing under his breath, shaking his head and slamming things around. I watched him talk rudely to 3 or more customers, and continue slamming things around. This is not a good reflection of the usual employee at 5 Guys who are generally friendly and helpful. There are literally hundreds of jobs in Bozeman, clearly this person is not happy at this one and should move on. Other than that, the food and shakes were as delicious as ever. read more

The service and staff were excellent. The burgers were just okay... and the regular fries were a bit soggy (but there were LOTS of them... very generous portions). The music; however, was so loud and horrible (heavy metal, long and painful guitar solos) that we had to eat outside on the sidewalk. The staff was apologetic and said that the music was "mandated by corporate". I generally hate any loud music, but will tolerate most of it to be with friends (and eat), but this was well beyond anything that I could endure. There was another couple out on the sidewalk as well (who voiced the same concern). Since, I can get a burger and fries that are equal or better to 5 Guys, we'll probably just go elsewhere in the future than risk the heinous/loud music. read more

We visited on Veteran's Day 2015, and even though my husband wasn't in uniform, Chance Voegle recognized him and stepped away from how busy he was at the fryer to inform his cashier to give us a discount. Massive amount of food for about 10. I got a burger and cajun fries. I ordered online and picked up. I put a specific time to pick up (not the automatic 7 min) since it takes a while to drive over. They still weren't ready for an additional 5 min. And this wasnt rush hour-it was 8 PM XD Packaging is horrible. The burger spilled everywhere in the bag so I had to dump it all into a bowl and reassemble. I will say the amount of food did make me very happy. I had fries for 3 meals basically. I'd suggest getting cajun fries, the seasoning is yummy. The bag was pretty greasy too. Overall it's a good place if you want a quick bite-but dont expect the best burger in the world. read more
