I have not being to Five Guys in so long I decided to stop at this mainly for the fries (I love fries and love the extras they give) so I ordered a cheeseburger and large fries. I went to the side amd noticed the fry person has about 3 basket to the side of pre fried fries just sitting then he drops them as need. That's NASTY bcos the fries would definitely come out soggy. When i got home, there was hardly and fries in the bag as expected for the extras they give and the fries were extra brown and soggy I asked for a large fries no salt with Cajun on the side... You get better service at McDonalds and at the fictional McDowell's from Prince Hakeem. I'm not familiar with the Five Guys motto or what one should expect when patronizing one of their locations. Since I do not eat red meat I never had an interest. With that said I am familiar with basic courtesy, cleanliness, and customer service. All which were clearly absent on this evening's visit. The gentlemen at register was not pleasant and simple questions pertaining to the menu seemed to pain him to answer. As previous stated I don't eat red meat so I simply added fries and a milkshake to my nephew's order. As I was doing so I attempted to inquire about a milkshake flavor and the mere question seemed to be annoying to the guy actually responsible for taking orders.... go figure. I disregarded that exchange, and we completed the order (to go) and proceeded to wait. The floors where extremely slimy and slippery and several tables were littered with trash and sticky residue. Our order was to go so there was no need to focus on these issues too much. However, the final straw was when the order was finally completed. It included three different flavored milkshakes. The same unpleasant gentlemen taking orders made the shakes and stated: "you need to taste them to figure out which flavor is which" Wait.... What? Absolutely NOT!!!! Over $35 (3 shakes, 1 fry and 1 burger) and you can't properly label or tell me which flavor each of my shakes are? You gotta be kidding me!! Yes, I requested he re-make my shake, properly identifying the flavor. However, I should have never had to make that request or wait additional time for him to do so. There will be no need for me to ever return. I can get fries and shakes from anywhere.... with way better service, better upkeep and better appreciation for my patronage! I dunno how but Five Guys recently shot to the top as America's best Fast Food Burger Joint. Whatever the reason, this location sure can't be reflective of that judgment. Nothing crazy, but my burger was just really dry. I've been eating Five Guys for years, so I have an idea what it's supposed to smell and taste like. And the copious amounts of grease was suspiciously missing. The bacon was also really dry but it was a slow day, so the bacon was probably cooked in bulk and waiting for someone to eat it. Workers were cool though, joked around a bit. I think he just left the patty on the grill for too long. This location even has an outdoor eating area; now that's something I haven't seen Five Guys do. Too bad your only view is of other stores and a highway. read more

Was in the urgent care center across the street and saw Five guys so I had to try it. This was my first time trying it and I'm so glad I did. I had walked in thinking to myself I want 2 double cheeseburgers and fries but then thought it would be to many calories so I switched my mind to one patty burgers. When I ordered, it took about 15 to 20 minutes for me to receive my order but it was well worth the wait. While you wait you can serve yourself an unlimited amount of peanuts which are delicious and easy to pry open with your fingers. Didn't want to eat to much to save my appetite for the burgers. As I waited I saw them filling a whole cup with fries which was the small size and putting it in a bag. Then they took an entire separate container of fries and dumped it in the bag!! As if things couldn't get any better! I finally get my order, open the burgers up, and to my surprise they were double cheeseburgers!! It's like they Chris Angel'd me and read my mind. Haven't had five guys in ages so decided to today and was quickly reminded why... this over priced bland burgers. $22 for a bacon cheeseburger Cajun fries and shake... the fries just gross... and they use Cajon seasoning sprinkled on the fries way too much.. popeyes fries are way better... and a quarter Linder from McDonald's has more flavor then these beef patties... and i Got the burger all the way.. the grilled onions and mushrooms were cold.. oh and let's not forget they built the burger backwards so the grease from the onions and mushrooms as well as the burgers made the bun mush... then i had to tell the cashier 3 times to get me my shake to which he came back to me 3 times to see the receipt .. like dude how short is your attention son bro?? This was the worst ever 5guys I've ever been to my son used to work at one my husband love the burgers my granddaughter love the fries, well first my husband orders a milk shake that was so extra sweet it was unreal. Then I tell the person taking my order I have food allergies I'm allergic to tomatoes products. There is not enough stars for 5 Guys. If you're not American, forget everything you were ever told about American burgers and run to 5 Guys order whatever gets your attention. It doesn't matter what you ask for, it is good, they're fries are ridiculous, it's hard to stop eating them. As you wait for your order you can help yourself to the soda fountain and fresh crispy peanuts (kids love this part). When you're ready to go you can ask for an extra paper bag to grab some peanuts to go. *just a tip- please clean up after yourself before you leave. The staff is friendly the place is cosy, clean and family friendly. It kind of sucks when people leave all the peanut shells lying around. read more

I have been to this Five Guys well over ten (10) times! This is my favorite Five Guys for two reasons: Quality Control + tons of seating for the busy crowd. This location is on top of a Target, and right next to a Chipotle and Sarku, and I always choose burgers over the others. There is always a line here, but it never bothers me, because the grill staff is top notch! It reminds me of the Five Guy I visited in Florida - perfect pit stop coordination. While you wait, you can try using their soda machine, which is one of the new ones that will give you ten flavors for almost any soda. Gotta love that. Prices and menu options are typical for all Five Guys, but for those that require #glutenfree trust the fries are safe, but beware if you have a peanut allergy (they are fried in peanut oil). Also, just request a bowl for your burger and enjoy - a salad burger! If you are a fan of Five Guys then have no fear, when in the Bronx, just jump on the Cross Bronx Expressway from the Bronx or Queens or the City and head over to Brush Avenue! read more

This five guys is absolutely trash. The burgers buns were soggy they gave way too much mustard is tasted disgusting. I got all the way and t seems like they squeezed the mustard all the way. The cheese was not melted they put a frozen cheese in my burger. Absolutely disgusted by the burger could not even finish it. I only ate the meat inside and threw everything else out. Had to clean the nasty mustard off to eat the meat. Mustard got on everything else and was leaking out the the foil. When I tried to complain the worker got mad at me. If you like this resturant well enjoy it as much as you like and more power to you. But I really don't have good experiences with this chain. When food is served it's served all wet and overcooked and I shouldn't have to feel belly pains after I finish my meal. The burgers are overcooked the cheese is wet defrosted and stale in terms of flavour giving a bad stomach. Hot dogs? Eh... They arlight I guess. The fries well the over exaggerate with giving you a soda cup with 1000 fries. The fries are Bellow special with not enough salt and coming off water wet. People hate greasey stuff. But this restaurants greasey is the wet watery type of greasy like putting water on food. This isn't something I'll recommend. read more

This particular 5 Guys location is tucked away in a strip mall by the Whitestone bridge. It doesn't have high foot traffic. This may be particularly responsible for the lack luster service and sloppy food. My fries were soaked in oil, extremely salty and dumped in my bag so carelessly that when I found the actual container there were enough fries spilt in the bottom of the bag for a whole other order. Clearly the fry guy is careless and not properly managed. Furthermore, the restaurant is adorned with press stating that 5 Guys has award winning fries. In summation a burger, fries, and drink for two is $33.00. At that price properly cooked fries should be guaranteed. Never eating at this location again. read more

No complaints here. Staff is friendly, and efficient. We've never had to wait too long for our order. The restaurant still looks brand new and the employees maintain the floors and tables, cleaning up after all of the peanut shells, which I'm sure gets to be quite annoying after a while. I moved from Queens to the Bronx and was ecstatic when this five guys opened! There are about 3 I used to go to in queens and it's the only burger chain restaurant I'll eat from. Although it's a new location, the food is the same, cooked well and served with a smile! I was also glad to see many young folk behind the counter.
