I was rather curious to try their burger. The name caught my eye and interest. First I'll give credit where credit is due, the staff was extremely friendly and professional. That's a big plus. I had the double with no cheese it was good not great and for $7.00 I expected bigger patties but nope these were very thin and on a basic sized burger bun. The fries were good but nothing to jump up and down about. Basically a so so fry. The cost of the meal was far greater than the value. I like the environment here more than the one at the Glendale Galleria because obviously it resembles that of a true restaurant. Also, the seating is pretty great here! Peanuts! If your child has a peanut allergy, do not walk in. There are peanuts right inside the door that your child could easily stick in his mouth if you turn your head for a second. There should be a huge sign outside the door warning their patrons. Furthermore they cook with peanut oil. I wasn't really that impressed with their food and thank God my kid is old enough to avoid peanuts for his own sake. But how scary- if I hadn't read the menu, it could've been disastrous. I used to be a fan of Five Guys back when I lived on the east coast, so I figured I'd check out the new location right in the middle of my favorite Burbank hang-out. Long story short, was disappointed. It was all just...bland. Hardly any flavor to the meat or the cheese, or even the grilled onions. I remember literally checking my burger a few times to make sure there actually was cheese on there because I could barely taste it. I always understood that their thing was ingredients that really blend together, but the only flavor coming out of this blend was grease. Doughy bun. Also, I've never been a fan of their fries even on the east coast (soggy af), so I skipped those altogether. Probably the worst thing of all is that it's crazy expensive for what it is. I paid over $13 for two soggy, flavorless cheeseburgers - no fries or drinks - when I could've gotten the same thing plus fries and drinks for about the same price at In-N-Out. Even if you're one of those jaded people who doesn't like In-N-Out, you're better off getting a burger literally anywhere else around that area. I'm talking BJ's or Islands even because if nothing else they at least have better fries. read more

Decided to eat eat before seeing Deadpool. Man I should have just gone to In n Out. $18 for a burger fries and drink. What are they smoking? And it takes forever to get your food! The fries are served in a cup. So the fries at bottom of the cup by the time you eat them are all soggy because of the moisture it creates. THERE IS FINALLY A LOCATION THAT'S EASY TO REACH FROM LA CRESCENTA. I'm so happy! So apparently today was their opening day? If so, wow, it went flawlessly. You'd think this location had been here for years. It operated just as briskly as every other location I've been to. The employees working tonight were friendly too. The burger has the exact same Five Guys traits as the other locations, so it was amazing and just as expected. I had never had a shake from Five Guys before, though. I'm always wary of shakes I haven't had before because they're so disappointing when they're runny and poorly textured. Well, that wasn't a problem at all. I got a peanut butter shake and it was art. I might try peanut butter chocolate next time (all flavors act like mix-ins so you can combine them) although an employee who asked me how the shake was said she liked strawberry a lot. I hope they consider adding mint so people can get grasshopper shakes. Anyway, I'm happy this location opened and I hope it stays there forever. read more

I have heard such good things about this restaurant and how good it was. Saw that this one opened so I decided to give it a shot. WORST PLACE EVER. if you're looking for something good. Do NOT go there. Needless to say I've gone more than 2x because I like to see if it gets better but each time it gets worse. My first time I went was a bad experience. I placed a phone order. Once I got there took them 30 minutes to give me my food. When I would try cancelling the order they'd just say I'm sorry it'll be ready soon. But not once did they let me cancel it. I would usually just walk out but it was like a 16 dollar meal. Pretty expensive for the quality of food they give. By the time they gave me my food it was all soggy. I didn't feel like arguing so I took what I got. My second time I went I also got my items to go. Ordered 2 plain cheeseburgers and 2 fries. Of course I didn't check the order. When I got home and opened it. The cup of fries were only half way full and the burgers were not plain or even cheeseburgers. For those four items it was $30. Love Five Guys. However, Ashley P. At the register needs to learn how to approach customers. She was snarky and bitchy not once smiling. Which is unusual because everyone else was smiling and happy. She seemed to be happy later as she flirted with the guys cooking, but not to the customers. Disappointed. I expect more from Five Guys. Should add that the tables are dirty, there were flies, and although I understand NO ONE wants to clean a restaurant bathroom, it is a requirement. Both the men's and women's restrooms are DISGUSTING. IT IS A REFLECTION OF THE ESTABLISHMENT. No toilet paper. No hand towels. Feces left in the toilet. Serious problems. We visited this Five Guys branch during our family vacation with the children. Service was absolutely disturbing. The food was very poor quality: cheese was very low quality and the bread crumbled in pieces when we all tried to eat our sandwiches and burgers. The meat on the burgers was raw. The fries were not fried, but raw. The soda machine only had a couple flavors working. Out of respect to the art of food, me and my wife tried to address these concerns to the manager, but were met with complete dismissiveness and no responsibility was taken. We ended up paying a large sum (nearly a hundred bucks) for food that fell a part, was raw, cold, and plain. Come on Five Guys, be realistic - if you're already ripping people off BIG TIME for the low quality food, then why continue and provide terrible service and and unfortunately unclean workplace? I think Five Guys is awesome. I'm really glad this location was opened. I can't comment too much on the quality of it compared to neighboring locations. I feel it's no better or worse. Five Guys burgers are more expensive, but you get to pick a load of toppings to add on to them that are included in the price. And you have to consider that the regular burgers come with two patties unless you order the "little hamburger". The fries are excellent. I don't want to write too much on the whole In 'N' Out vs. Five Guys argument. In my opinion, the In 'N' Out fanboys don't have much when it comes to palates. read more

This is my favorite burger place... Period. In my opinion, in-n-Out doesn't even compare in quality. I love In-n-Out, and out of convenience, I do have it about once a week.... but Five guys burger just does it better. If you compare the meat from In-n-Out side by side, you'll know what im talking about. Five guys meat is darker in color, fatter, and more "BEEFY" flavor, where as In-n-Out meat looks discolored, and hella small... And five guys just tastes bolder. The fact that I can pick and choose my toppings, is a plus for me. I hate thatI have to go to other burger places, and tell them to "take out onions, add pickles, no ketchup" etc... This place, I can add fresh Jalapenos!!! I can add Mushrooms!!! Whatever I want. And its always right. They get the order right every time... Other burger places, hardly ever.... I'm going early 2000's on you. BOMB.com. Burgers are on the expensive side, but hottt dayum are they good. The fries are great also, border's on home cooked like mamma made em. The cajun seasoning kicks it up, but obviously too spicy for kids, so parents beware, my toddlers where scratching their tongues and yelling. I understand the pricing, the ingredients are fresh and they cook everything fresh, the transparency of the kitchen really earned my trust. Delicious burgers, fries, & shakes. It's fun that you can pick unlimited burger & shake toppings as part of the set price. I don't like that the menu board is setup to trick you by not telling you that the regular burgers are two patties when most people probably only want the less expensive little burger single patty. They should rearrange that since it seems unethical not to even list 'single' or 'double'. Other than that this place is very good and we enjoy coming here. read more
