Greatest burger greatest fries ever, I love the service here it's fast and convenient, and my food always tastes like it was made with love.

It took almost 11 minutes to get my meal. I ordered a large fries and half of them were overcooked. The burger tasted good, but was not juicy at all. My family has had way way better at other Five Guys locations. I probably will not be back to this location, because consistency is the key for me. Five Guys Burger and Fries claims to be the cheapest and best burger in town, however, they don't combo or value meal anything. So... getting a burger, fries and drink can easily add up more than fast food drivethru. I think, the burgers are too greasy. I tend to opt for the cheesy veggie sandwich in an alacarte meal. The bacon double cheeseburger, double burger, slightly seasoned peanut oil fried fries and milkshakes are high sellers. I haven't tried a milkshake yet. I want to try the salted caramel milkshake, but for me... It's a meal in itself. I probably rather eat. I heart the complimentary roasted peanuts as you wait for your order. I have only heard about how good Five Guys was and have only driven past this place a ton of times, so when it came time to get some Christmas shopping done, I decided to give this place a try. It is located in a very sad area of the Burbank mall with lots of construction going on around it. I decided on a single bacon burger with an order of Cajun fries. The burger was so good, I got onion, grilled peppers, and some other yummy toppings. The Cajun fries were really spicy, even after I asked them to season them mildly. The burger, fries, and large drink was over $15, which was really steep. They don't do combos, everything is separate. I'll be back to try another burger with different toppings. I used to rate this a solid 4.5. Now I have to drop it to 3 because of recent changes. I had been hearing lots of rumors that all five guys have started to decrease their quality lately but had not experienced it yet. Not until yesterday. The meat quality was poorer, toppings fewer and less cooked. Overall, I would say it was good while it lasted but now it is officially not good for the poorer quality. I used to order a lot from 5 guys. During the pandemic I noticed things got VERY sloppy. It all went down hill when I requested curbside for my elderly dad (they had been doing curbside in the beginning). He arrived there, he called them to come out, they never did, after 20 minutes of waiting he made his way in. I spoke to the manager and said we specifically discussed curbside and you said it would be okay. The service was so rude as he offered a refund for the mixup and then took it right back. I have a very sensitive stomach, and often times get sick from hamburger places. Five guys is the exception and I figured out why on my 2nd or 3rd visit: they don't put preservatives in their food. I liked to get the smaller cheeseburger and a drink. Have been happy every time I have come here. This is more fast food upscale, like a sharky's or a chipotle of burgers, and by that I mean it costs a little bit more, but to me it's still a great quality of food. The fries are great if doused in ketchup, but meh on their own. I know they use peanut oil which surprises me cause there are so many people with food allergens out there. Seems like a risk. Great hangover food! So juicy, you have to do the Fieri hunch to keep it from making a big mess. For normal eats, though, while it is fresher than fast food, it is usually beyond salty. I had the miscellaneous thought that since it is a place where you tell them what you want on it (sort of like a build your own burger place), it should be superb, but dang if the seasonings and salt don't just dry you up. I don't understand the hype around Five Guys. It's overpriced and doesn't deliver the same quality burger I can get at The Habit or In and Out or Smashburger. If they're trying to go for restaurant quality burgers, they're falling fall short of even a mediocre burger experience at a sit down chain like Islands. Firstly, the cashier was kind of rude and kept getting our order mixed up, and of course got my burger completely wrong, but that happens. The worst part was that none of the tables were wiped down after patrons left. There were still crumbs, fingers and POTENTIALLY COVID. Then, the worst part was that staff came out of the back to help customers as they were wiping their hands on their pants, then working with no gloves. Five guys is pretty much a more expensive version of in n out with more items on menu , arguably the fries are better than in n outs and also more variation in seasoning (Cajun and regular). But the hamburger is more expensive and imo not as good as in n outs. I think it is because the buns are mediocre and nothing like in n outs buns. read more

I'm from the East coast. I know what Five Guys is all about. This Five Guys is a disgrace. Besides the fact that I spent 15$ for a burger, fries, and a soda, I was extremely disappointed with the amount I got. Five Guys, where I am from, is known for giving you an excessive amount of fries. Typically, you have to dig through the fries in the bag just to find your burger. Saw this place as I was hungrily walking through Burbank. I was going to make a quick stop into McDonald's but thought I'd treat myself to something new. The service at the order counter was fast and it was a slow night so the place was pretty empty. Ordering a bacon burger, fries and a milkshake I was a little shocked to find I was paying about $18! I hoped it would be worth it but alas.... I had ordered at 8:02pm and took a seat. Finished my shake and still no sign of the food. Finally, at 8:23 my number is called and what I end up with is a burger smaller than a Big Mac and fries so dry that I ended up throwing most of them away. We couldn't be happier an East Coast burger chain comes to L.A. Most of the business at this location never thrived hoping Five Guys is here to stay. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were greeted and menu was explained as we were 1st timers at this location. After ordering you can serve yourself a small boat of roasted, salted, delicious peanuts to hold your hunger pains as you wait. Everything is made in front of you no hiding here. Our single patty bacon cheese burger was juicy and scrumptious. The bacon was nice and smokey. Burger was juicy as was the mushrooms with onions. Cheese was nice and melted too. Fries were good definitely better than In N out. The burger is not comparable to In N out totally different planets for both. We really like both but for a higher quality and bonus of fresh peanuts we'd say Five Guys. Granted Five guys is not cheap at all. Love their burgers and shakes! Great, friendly, upbeat crew! And awesome customer service, I tell you! A crew member saw my husband eating the top bun without the burger (only because the entire thing was too big for him!) and asked if something was wrong with it, if it was too soggy, and offered to replace it with a new one I know people find them a bit pricey compared to In n Out but all the abovementioned plus factors for me make it all worth it! Fries on the side. Pretty yummy burger, cooked well, condiments not over-powering and fresh, soft bun. I'm not a huge burger girl but this was pretty darn good. This place is freaking AWESOME! Today was opening day and my very first time at a Five Guys, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. We came in and there was a bit of a line but it went FAST! From the time we stood in line, ordered our food and received it, it was a total of 15 mins. NOT BAD AT ALL! I was very pleased! Once our food came I devoured it. Everything was fresh and tasty. We got the regular fires to share and each a little bacon cheeseburger. AMAZING. They gave us plenty of fries and extra in the bag. Oh and a cool little touch, they offer free peanuts while you wait! Each Wednesday I try a new restaurant beginning with the next letter of the alphabet. This was the "F" on my weekly alphabetized restaurant hunt. Wed 10/27/2020 (Flipped D and E) I've eaten at Five Guys many many times. This was the first time to this location. Parking on the street was tough but parking in the mall and walking over is an easy solution. No dining at the restaurant but people were eating on the benches even though it said closed. Masks were being worn but the free style self serve soda means your touching machines everyone else is using. Signs say there is no outdoor seating but you can eat in about 4 benches or take it to go. Pro tips: 1) the baby burger is actually a regular burger. Their regular burger is a double 2) ask for peanuts - they're free and a good way to kill time until your food arrives Burgers and fries are great. And BIG - not for the health conscious. Been coming to this location for many years. I've been a big fan of five guys since I was a kid. I'm the last couple years, this particular location (Burbank Town Center) has fallen off. I come here about once a month and they frequently mess up the burger toppings on my order... No matter how busy they are. The last two times I've come here (I usually visit off peak hours) the fries served to me had sat out for far longer than they should... Im sure the employees aren't treated well enough to warrant them caring to treat customers better than they do.
