As of Wednesday, September 3, 2025, 4:08 pm, Five Guys Burbank is PERMANENTLY closed. I even asked the gentleman last week, on the scaffolding if they closed, as he was taking the Five Guys sign off.

I haven't been to this place in the last 3 years and took pictures of the menu prices to see how much the prices are now. The place was clean, I'll do a more thorough review when I come back to eat lunch here.

The food is good, the service was good but the prices are RIDICULOUS!! $42 dollars for 2 burgers 2 fries and 2 drinks is absurd! Again the food was good but not $21 a meal type of good.

Ordered a grilled cheese with mayo, lettuce and tomato. It was super burnt (inedible), had no lettuce or tomato. I will not be ordering from here again.

Came in for burgers tonight absolutely horrible burgers. Buns stone cold .Husband had bacon cheeseburger cheese not melted bacon raw. Fries good The thing is restaurant was empty not like they were busy. Had to wait til one young lady step over to take our order, never welcomed us. Disappointing

Pleasantly surprised!! One of the best franchise burgers around! Fresh, flavorful, filling, high quality! Very impressive!! I will return!

I ordered the Veggie Burger and honestly wasn't prepared for how good it would be. The patty had an amazing texture, the toppings were fresh, the cheese was melty, and the house sauce tied everything together perfectly. Every bite had flavor. What impressed me most was that this wasn't trying to imitate anything. It stood on its own as a genuinely delicious burger. The fries were seasoned well, and the entire meal felt thoughtfully put together. The team was also incredibly friendly and welcoming during my visit. Great food, great energy, and a spot I'll definitely be returning to. As someone who spends a lot of time searching for the best vegan burgers in LA, Smash Station earned its place near the top of my list.

I explained that I just wanted to watch a game and be out of the way and they could not have been kinder through my whole time there! Daniela was my server and she was so kind! Best service and I didn't even order food. The second experience I had was going pretty well! My boyfriend and I took a friend who had just put down one of her dogs. She took her other dog with her since he has never been left without the other dog. :( we were really hoping to cheer her up with an outing. It was unfortunately super hot outside and so we asked the server if we'd be able to sit inside with the dog. No problem! The dog was in a stroller and we took a table right by the patio door. We really enjoyed our drinks and food and talking to each other. Our server, Kailey, made sure we had water and drink refills as needed. We had been there over 2 hours at this point, watching a World Cup came that had about 10 minutes left, when someone came up to us, I'm assuming a manager, but she never introduced herself to us, and told us the dog needed to either be on the floor or in the stroller (he was in our friends lap at this point) and then told us the stroller was a fire hazard unless it was on the other side of the table. We were very receptive, no problem, but very confused why this would come up after we had been sitting there for over 2 hours. This employee disappeared after that and we didn't see her again! It was just bizarre. Anyway- the servers were friendly and the other people there watching the game were fun. I loved the carnitas nachos and the Baja seltzer! I just was very confused by this "manager" coming up after 2 hours of us being there (she had seen us there at least 30-40 minutes before approaching us). Up front it wouldn't have been confusing! We're happy to follow rules and such and the dog was fine in his stroller. It just put a bad taste in our mouth, especially when there were only about 10 minutes left in the game we were watching. Felt a little too late to approach us? I wouldn't let this hinder my coming back. All the servers I've had were so great, I just don't know why a manager type would wait so long to present a customer with where a stroller can and can't be. We had made sure to ask up front about it, too and there were no issues! For those reading- check this place out! Fun to casually watch a game of some kind and get a drink and appetizer. The servers are amazing!

So someone else from the kitchen came out to help with pick up window. Therefore, total time spent to go in and pick up the food was about 5mins. What came down to give 3/5 stars was the food taste. It felt like the food quality has gone down from the time when they first opened. Maybe the sauce was overpowering the meat and cheese? Maybe the meat got cold too fast? Something didn't feel right. The more I took a bite, I just wasn't satisfied. The fries were slightly on the soggy side vs crispy. Maybe I should've asked to cook longer? I don't know exactly what it was but I wasn't happy with my food overall. However, paying only $1 for large size coke was amazing! Thanks for staying open though, you guys are better than McDonald's, jack in the box, or other fast food burger restaurants (except in n out)!

Our chips and salsa order was never put in, BUT it was totally fine because my boyfriend and I totally should have shared a burger! The one bright spot of the evening was our host, Sophia. She was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel genuinely appreciated from the moment we walked in. She provided the level of hospitality I expect from Islands. Unfortunately, everything after we were seated went downhill. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which arrived extremely runny and lacked any real flavor. Even the "secret seasoning" couldn't improve it. It was not something I would order again. I ordered the Longboarder Burger and was equally disappointed. The bun had a strong, stale odor that made it seem as though it had absorbed the smell of a pantry shelf or had been sitting far past its prime. The smell was so off-putting that I had to take the burger apart and eat only the patty. Even then, the patty itself was underwhelming, lacking both quality and flavor. For a restaurant known for its burgers, this was unacceptable. Our server, whose name I don't recall, was absent for most of the evening. While I understand restaurants get busy, being busy shouldn't come at the expense of basic attentiveness. On more than one occasion, she appeared too rushed to fully listen to what we were saying. At one point, my partner was still in the middle of speaking when she simply walked away before he had finished his sentence. That left us feeling dismissed rather than cared for. I've always associated Islands with consistently good food and friendly service, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Sophia, the hostess, delivered excellent hospitality, but the food quality and the service we received after being seated fell well below the standard I expect from this restaurant. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because based on this visit, I would hesitate to return.
