I have been going to this chain since t they first started business in the southeast for more that 9 years. I always made a point of finding one everywhere's I traveled because I love the burgers and especially the fires. But in the last six months I have notice the cost of fries have gone up drastically in this restaurant. A large fry is over 6.00. . Our Bill was over $40.00 for two burgers, fries, and coke. I heard great things about 5 guys that has not been my experience Ive been there twice. The first time i barely got a cup of fries much less an overflowing bag for $13 i didnt even get a drink. The second time i drove 8 miles just to get fries to go with my ribs There was a little mores fries in the bag but they were literally raw. They were so underdone i tried refrying them at home $5 for a raw order of fries Wendys it is from now on. read more

Typical 5 guys restaurant. Decent burgers and fries. Love how many fries you get with your order. Conveniently located on Madison street by publix. Don't forget the regular is a double patty! I always forget that the junior is one patty like most normal people order. read more

This was my first experience going to 5 guys in Clarksville, TN. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. When we ordered, didn't see/know about having to order toppings extra and the cashier sure didn't say anything about ordering toppings, so we end up with a cheeseburger patty and bread only! It appears that they serve everything, even eat in orders in a bag which made the burger soggy and the fries even more soggy. I don't like McDonalds but they are as step up from this place. read more

Fantastic burgers. Good fries. You can pick from a slew of toppings, its all made to order. More food than one person can handle if you get fries and the double cheeseburger. Two people can eat for about 20 bucks. Its well worth it. Just make sure your not counting calories. read more

Excellent burger and hot dogs, very clean restaurant. Very nice and friendly staff. The French fries were especially good. Loved that you had a whole list of Free items to put on your hamburger/hot dog such as jalapeño, grilled or raw onions and many other items. Also, liked that that the meat selection were clean, no fillers or hormones. read more

Love the food and drink machine....lots of options. We had the regular cheeseburger (2 patties) and little cheese burger (1 patty)- both very tasty and with all the toppings, its a meal. Like the new option of not automatically getting loaded with fried .. just order small, med or lge if you want them. Also for those watching carbs you can order "bunless" or on the side and eat everything with a fork. Staff very friendly and place is clean all the time. We'll be back...... read more

My favorite place to go when I'm in the mood for a hamburger. It's your standard Five Guys restaurant - good food, pretty fast service and loads of fries! The only thing missing are milkshakes - if they added them to the menu, it'd be perfect! read more

So SO very disappointed. The first time back in the states in a while and all I wanted was one of those great American cheeseburgers. Sadly I did not find it here. First off I would like to say that the employees were friendly and polite. The chocolate extra malt milkshake was delicious too. But that's where it ended for me. The hamburger pattie had no flavor what so ever, even a little salt would have gone a long way but the meat was pretty tasteless. Then the toppings and the burger itself was just so messy and unappealing in both taste and appearance that after a few bites I was just done and had no desire to eat anymore. Then there was the small creole fries that were so covered in way too much seasoning that they made a mess of everything they touched and the seasoning overpowered everything. Next is the way they put your order to go. Mine was a to-go order. Unfortunately, they put the burger at the bottom of the bag and then put a small cup of fries in and then dumped twice that many on top of everything else and then put the napkins on top of that. So much oil from the fries over saturated the bag which started to tear before I even let the place with my order. Then with that much oil seeping thru the bag came the dilemma of how I could put t somewhere in my without the oil staining anything (impossible). As you may guess, if it was that messy in the bag how much more messy was it going to be to dig your cheeseburger out from under all those greasy, extremely over seasoned fries with it being buried at the bottom underneath that pile of a greasy mess. I was covered in greasy and spices and thoroughly disgusted by the whole experience. To top it off the fries too were so bad because of all that grease and over seasoning that I couldn't eat them at all. Also, a small order of fries should be a small order of fries but this was easily 3 times the amount of fries I expected or wanted. I guess that was their attempt of justifying the $20 I paid for this disgusting and very disappointing cheeseburger and fries. For me, even if the price $10 I would not have been happy with this meal and I will continue my search for one of those great American cheeseburgers as I certainly did not find it here and would not recommend this to anyone. read more

Fast easy ordering, the food is made fresh, to order, so there's a bit of a wait but no big deal. We love the burgers and fries. And love all the options for toppings. They have the Coke Freestyle machines. read more

Wow! Delicious and gigantic burgers. I couldn't finish it but it was one of the juiciest, thickest and best hamburgers I have ever had. Fries, fries and more fries that were almost as good as my hamburger but I couldn't even finish half because there were so many. Definitely a meal I could share with someone. Best burger I have had in years. Real beef, fresh lettuce and tomato, bacon is on point. Not a bad price. Plus all the peanuts you can eat.

This place is sooo overrated. Got there, the floors had peanut shells all over, tables are filthy, high chairs right next to a garbage can (like I want to put my son in that) I order having high hopes that this place is great due to all the posters and newspapers that they post on the wall saying that this place is so amazing, but once I get to the counter I see that there are hardly any options and no suggested burger combinations. So I ask the lady behind the counter politely what she suggest I get from the place, she tells me people usually get everything on it, so I'm like alright I'll get me one of those. I literally wait and watch my burger just sit there on the counter for 5 minutes, and then finally they slap my patty, that does not even look the slightest hand made on to the bun with my "free" toppings ( I say that because 2 pounds of hamburger usually go for 4$ but here I'm paying 6$ for a quarter of a pound of hamburger meat) They smash my bun into a sheet of foil, grab a cup and place it into a bag and just dump a whole bunch of fries in it. Fries all over the bag now, with my burger smashed in some foil. I took one bite, and decided I'm never eating at this place ever again. read more

The amount of fries they give you is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention they taste like a rusty toenail. The burgers at the gas station by my house taste better too. Great burgers at a reasonable price. Staff is always friendly. Great consistency from visit to visit. I like knowing what I'm going to get when I place my order, I want this burger to be as good as my last, and that's what they deliver. Oh, and the peanuts are awesome as well. read more

This a great place to get a burger & fries. Don't go in if you have a peanut allergy (they're free and all over the place.) That being said-unless you're starving or embarrassed to order the "little" burger, it's plenty for the average diner. And fries? Get the small-and share them. Five Guys was NOT voted best of Clarksville. Cheeseburger Charley's was. They might have been nominated but they were not voted best. It's an ok place but like others say the price is high the other place that is best of Clarksville is also expensive but I think they're burgers are better quality read more
