Open wide!!! Little Burger is for a big appetite!
    Tam M.

At this point in my life, money is no object when you want to satisfy a specific hunger or thrist. YOLO is real and so if you have it and want it, go get i!. Therefore when my appetite desired a homemade burger and fries, Five Guys was the only place that could deliver on both. I hadn't eaten since 1:30 before a dental cleaning appointment at 4PM. After the appointment that ended at 5PM and a 30 minute flouride treatment and drive to check on my Mom before heading back to Houston, I knew my stomach would soon tell me to feed it, so I made up my mind to stop in Cypress and eat before it became too late. Even though the parking lot is a little dark at night, Five Guys shines bright like a diamond or like a beacon of light to draw you to palette paradise with the white walls surrounding the inside with an all glass store front. It was not very busy on a Thursday evening and I was greeted and assisted once the customer in front of me had completed their order. I asked about the difference in burgers. I may have been to FG once before so forgot that the bun size is the same but the Little has one patty. If I wanted to have serious itis when I got home, the double patty burg would have been great, but I felt a fullyloaded Little Bacon Cheeseburger had enough protein without the double patty. I was absolutely right because the brown bag that was handed to me with my small order of fresh fried fries was packing some weight! The wait was worth it which was around 10 minutes. As I opened my bag to my Five Guys Feast, I immediately noticed my Little Burger filled with all my choice veggies and condiment and grilled to perfection. The fries were also stellar as they were fresh and with my cajun seasoning on the side, I received the freshest of the fresh fries! I did a little experiment and poured the cajun seasoning in the ketchup. Not too spicy but just enough kick to it. Plus the size of the small fries come overloaded in your bag. Shareable if you desire, but too good to do so! The meal cost me a Jackson with a drink and tip included, but so worth it! The homemade taste without grocery shopping, prepping food, and washing dishes is a welcomed splurge, and the roasted peanuts are delicious! Took them home and ate the next day because I was too full from my actual meal. Five Guys are most certainly a Five Star in Yelpingwood! Go by and prepare to have your Hunger Satisfied!

Decent size burger patties. If you're looking for smaller portions go for the little burger. The main selections provide two patties and very filling. Flavors are lacking but they make up for it with topping choices at no additional charge. The fries have a good balance of thickness and crunch with a dash of salt. Service is efficient, quick, and friendly. Plenty of seating and don't forget to grab some peanut which are also free of charge and all you can eat.

They just threw the fries in there!!

Pretty poor experience on this location. The restaurant was not packed at all, for good reason I believe. We ordered a burger , hotdog and two fries all which came out EXTRA greasy eve for 5 guys standers. The hot dog bun was cold yet still oily, which was strange and the fries were literally tossed in the bag. Check out the picture. I can get a 40 burger somewhere else.

A great Sunday afternoon for family, football, and a great Burger. The parking was decent considering it was located near a busy area of Cypress, TX. The inside was clean; however, I noticed that one of the boxes of peanuts was expired according to the date displayed. But I managed to find a fresh batch of peanuts available. The staff was friendly, courteous, and the food was great!!! Just a heads up....the pricing is a little on the expensive side, but the quality of the food was spot on. The Bacon Cheeseburger was my choice and it was cooked perfectly. My goodness 100% beef and the Cajun styled fries were freshly cooked and not over seasoned. If you are traveling on the outskirts of Houston and looking for a great burger this is the spot. Enjoy!!!

Well intentioned staff? I watched a lady move the baskets in the fryer at least 20 times with no food? They focus on everything but production of the food! Ordered my burger and fry's at 12:28 and waited over 30 minutes for these people to screw up an order!

    Price of burgers.

The burgers taste like actual burgers--fresh, juicy, and made to order. The fries are cut right in front of you (which still feels like a little flex), and everything comes out hot and fast even when the place is packed. And of course, if you know about the not-so-secret menu, ordering "Animal Style" is basically a rite of passage. What really stands out though is the service. The staff is always friendly, the place is spotless, and the line somehow moves way faster than it looks like it should. It's one of the few fast food spots where you can tell the employees actually take pride in what they're doing. Great burgers, great service, and prices that somehow still feel reasonable in 2026. It almost seems as though the buns were stale before they grilled them and it makes the edges of the bun very hard. The burgers have a weird taste to them now. Whatever they did. Undo it. As for the staff. Always polite and welcoming! Never had one bad experience with the staff here. And the whole old school burger spot vibe is great! The tenders pieces were huge and there was the perfect ratio of fries to Mac. Overall, I would give the Urban fries a 3.5/5. The chicken itself was a bit on the dryer side and some pieces were tough, but the coating was nice and crispy. Furthermore, the fries were pretty standard with some crisp and pretty thick. The best part was the Mac n cheese which was really creamy. I was a bit on the fence on if I like the flavor of the sauce they used though. The Bird Sauce was really sweet and reminded me of a honey mustard. I personally thought it was a bit too sweet but the more I ate it the less I was opposed to it. Also, the Nashville Hot didn't have any heat at all and I wish there was more overall flavor. I think I would come back to try a different flavor and maybe up the spice level. Service/Ambiance: Service was fine and there was quite a wait for the food (but that just means it's super fresh). The vibe inside reminded me of a fast food restaurant where you order and then never really talk to the staff again.

This place brings authentic Deep South flavors and hospitality straight to Texas, and every single bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from down South. The signature chicken tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, and seasoned to perfection, easily some of the best I've had anywhere. Paired with their seasoned dirty rice, their fluffy, buttery biscuits and perfectly seasoned french fries, it was a match made in heaven. I also had to try the famous Bo Berry biscuit, and it did not disappoint, warm, sweet, bursting with blueberries and that classic glaze that makes it impossible to stop at just one. Of course, no Southern meal is complete without a tall cup of sweet tea, and theirs was exactly what I hoped for: strong, refreshing, and perfectly sweetened like grandma made it. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and full of flavor, and the whole experience felt like a warm Southern welcome. If you're looking for that genuine Deep South taste without leaving Texas, Streets Chicken is the spot. Highly recommend. ! I'll definitely be back for more! Rod Gray Cypress, TX

My wife and I were sharing and she settled on the Steak Biscuit breakfast sandwich because she'd heard it tastes like the old Grandy's steak biscuit (I don't remember ever eating at Grandy's). We ordered on the app and picked up in the drive thru. The attendant was friendly and told us to pull up to the stop sign to wait for fresh food. The Steak Biscuit and Bo-Tato Rounds came out hot. I liked the biscuit, but the steak was too thin and got lost. My wife said, "It kind of tastes like Grandy's, but Grandy's was better," it has to have been 40 years since she's eaten there. I'm the one that was mistaken. With a Caniac craving, I arrived past 9pm on a Sunday to the busiest Cane's I've ever see. The drive-thru line wrapped around the building. The parking lot remained full. The amount of vehicles circling the building hoping to find a spot caused mild traffic disturbances. Waze marked the lead in road as red for standstill traffic- okay, I'm kidding with that one, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Among all of this, the employees of Cane's stayed strong. Like a well oiled machine they powered through the endless line. They were efficient for sure, but I was most impressed by their care and customer service. This team is truly running like a well oiled machine. As far as the food, Cane's is Cane's. If you're new to this concept, you really only need to keep two things in mind. 1. They serve 4 main items, fried chicken tenders (yes, only tenders), crinkle fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast. These 4 items are offered in a handful of variations and combinations. 2. No matter which combo tickles your pickle, enjoy it with Cane's sauce. In addition to a basic requirement for the chicken, it also pairs well with the fries, their Texas toast, and most any protein or savory bread you have lying around the house. Long story short, if you can handle the crowds, you've earned your chicken.

After doing my research and seeing food bloggers post online about this place, I decided to try it! We went on a Saturday afternoon at 2 pm - packed! There were no tables available inside and there were people inside and outside waiting for their orders. That's something to be ready for if you come on a Saturday. Our order didn't actually take that long. Or maybe it took a little while and we didn't mind waiting. Either way, it wasn't that bad! Luckily it's located in a shopping area so there's always parking. My main gripe is that they close at 7pm. I'm sure there's a good reason for that but I've wanted to try it multiple times before but they've been closed! I ended up going with the infamous brisket and fried rice. The brisket was super tender - I was able to pull it apart with my fork. I typically shy away from brisket because usually it's tough. But this was delicious - tender and had a nice smoky flavor. Not overwhelming or too salty. The rice had a great flavor too. There were chunks of meat in that as well and the rice had a nice smoky flavor. Not too salty or greasy. It also came with some accoutrements - pickled onions, fresh pickled cucumbers, jalapeños, bbq sauce and bread. The cucumbers and onions stole the show - very fresh and refreshing. We were surprised at the pickled onions - they were soo good! Overall - worth the hype! I'll definitely be back to try ribs, chicken or pulled pork sandwich. I heard everything is good here!!
