Open wide!!! Little Burger is for a big appetite!
    Tam M.

At this point in my life, money is no object when you want to satisfy a specific hunger or thrist. YOLO is real and so if you have it and want it, go get i!. Therefore when my appetite desired a homemade burger and fries, Five Guys was the only place that could deliver on both. I hadn't eaten since 1:30 before a dental cleaning appointment at 4PM. After the appointment that ended at 5PM and a 30 minute flouride treatment and drive to check on my Mom before heading back to Houston, I knew my stomach would soon tell me to feed it, so I made up my mind to stop in Cypress and eat before it became too late. Even though the parking lot is a little dark at night, Five Guys shines bright like a diamond or like a beacon of light to draw you to palette paradise with the white walls surrounding the inside with an all glass store front. It was not very busy on a Thursday evening and I was greeted and assisted once the customer in front of me had completed their order. I asked about the difference in burgers. I may have been to FG once before so forgot that the bun size is the same but the Little has one patty. If I wanted to have serious itis when I got home, the double patty burg would have been great, but I felt a fullyloaded Little Bacon Cheeseburger had enough protein without the double patty. I was absolutely right because the brown bag that was handed to me with my small order of fresh fried fries was packing some weight! The wait was worth it which was around 10 minutes. As I opened my bag to my Five Guys Feast, I immediately noticed my Little Burger filled with all my choice veggies and condiment and grilled to perfection. The fries were also stellar as they were fresh and with my cajun seasoning on the side, I received the freshest of the fresh fries! I did a little experiment and poured the cajun seasoning in the ketchup. Not too spicy but just enough kick to it. Plus the size of the small fries come overloaded in your bag. Shareable if you desire, but too good to do so! The meal cost me a Jackson with a drink and tip included, but so worth it! The homemade taste without grocery shopping, prepping food, and washing dishes is a welcomed splurge, and the roasted peanuts are delicious! Took them home and ate the next day because I was too full from my actual meal. Five Guys are most certainly a Five Star in Yelpingwood! Go by and prepare to have your Hunger Satisfied!

Decent size burger patties. If you're looking for smaller portions go for the little burger. The main selections provide two patties and very filling. Flavors are lacking but they make up for it with topping choices at no additional charge. The fries have a good balance of thickness and crunch with a dash of salt. Service is efficient, quick, and friendly. Plenty of seating and don't forget to grab some peanut which are also free of charge and all you can eat.

They just threw the fries in there!!

Pretty poor experience on this location. The restaurant was not packed at all, for good reason I believe. We ordered a burger , hotdog and two fries all which came out EXTRA greasy eve for 5 guys standers. The hot dog bun was cold yet still oily, which was strange and the fries were literally tossed in the bag. Check out the picture. I can get a 40 burger somewhere else.

A great Sunday afternoon for family, football, and a great Burger. The parking was decent considering it was located near a busy area of Cypress, TX. The inside was clean; however, I noticed that one of the boxes of peanuts was expired according to the date displayed. But I managed to find a fresh batch of peanuts available. The staff was friendly, courteous, and the food was great!!! Just a heads up....the pricing is a little on the expensive side, but the quality of the food was spot on. The Bacon Cheeseburger was my choice and it was cooked perfectly. My goodness 100% beef and the Cajun styled fries were freshly cooked and not over seasoned. If you are traveling on the outskirts of Houston and looking for a great burger this is the spot. Enjoy!!!

Well intentioned staff? I watched a lady move the baskets in the fryer at least 20 times with no food? They focus on everything but production of the food! Ordered my burger and fry's at 12:28 and waited over 30 minutes for these people to screw up an order!

    Price of burgers.

They left all the toppings I ordered off my burger. Paid $8 for a bun and meat. Not impressed.

The burger was pretty good but the greasy cajun fries probably gave me a blood clot.

First-class friendly…read moreservice from a young lady named Rain when we first walked in - great recommendations and took the time to show us their many sauce options for our incredible burgers! The patties were hand-formed and perfectly cooked and seasoned, the veggies fresh & crisp and that bun. That bun is spectacular, soft, pillowy and had a very nice texture and flavor. Will be back for sure and please let Rain know that her amazing attitude and personality made all the difference!

Historically, the service and…read moreculinary offerings have consistently met my expectations, and the staff has always demonstrated a high level of professionalism. However, my visit today did not align with these established standards. Upon receiving my order, both containers were placed on the counter. The attendant then proceeded to assist other patrons. I inquired about my beverages, and after reviewing my receipt, she provided two cups, placing them on the counter before attending to other customers. I then filled the cups, secured them in the cup holders, and placed them in the bag. Subsequently, I awaited the bagging of my food items. As the attendant continued to serve other customers, I eventually had to interject and inquire about a bag for my food, noting a bag lane nearby. She confirmed its availability and resumed assisting other patrons. I then commented, "Okay, so I'm suppose to bag my own food." I must convey my significant disappointment, as this level of customer service is uncharacteristic of my previous experiences at this establishment. I felt a distinct lack of respect and a sense of being disregarded.

We came here because of their amazing reviews. I have to say that the reviews lived up to the hype…read more I am so happy when that happens. First and foremost is halal!! Thankfully, the food scene in Houston is so great, that we don't have to settle for mediocre halal food, but this is not that. The customer service was great. I didn't get the name of the girl who took my order, but she was very sweet and helpful. She let me know that getting a combo was a $3 upcharge, and it got us a drink and a fries. I chose a Mexican type orange soda and it was delicious. The fries we got came out cold, but they got us new fries that were nice and hot so and the counter girl apologized for the fries that we got before which seemed hard, old and cold. So no harm no foul. I got the original burger, and it was really good. I like that it had caramelized onions and it just tasted very fresh and like the other of you said a hundred percent grass fed halal meat. We also got the hot chicken sandwich, which my husband preferred, because he liked the coleslaw addition to the sandwich. We also got garlic parmesan wings because of a picture I saw online, and I have to say the picture looked better than the actual wings. They were quite salty. I would not get those again. The establishment looks clean. The customer service was great, and besides the fries mishap, our food came out in a nice orderly time and was fresh and hot. I would definitely recommend to come here!

The lady at the register was attentive and helpful, offering a few suggestions that we actually went with. We both ordered the spicy burger with jalapeños. My husband got the regular fries, while I ordered the truffle fries with garlic Parmesan. Unfortunately, the meal itself was pretty meh--not bad, just nothing that stood out or wowed us. The ambiance was nice and modern, which I appreciated, and I do like that they're open until midnight on weekends--definitely a plus if you're out late. Would we go back? Maybe not. It wasn't terrible, but there was nothing memorable enough about the food to make it a repeat visit.
