french fries in a paper bag

What an awful experience. I ordered via Uber eats and it arrived unsealed looking exactly like this. I have requested a refund on both order of fries, but instead only got partial "Uber credit." In the middle of COVID-19 pandemic, you would think you would package your food better and actually seal the bag for transportation. I will not order here again, and I would not recommend it to others. My burger was also wrapped in foil rolled into a ball. I have definitely had better burgers taste wise. 0/5 stars

I generally enjoy five guys's food, but a little disappointed in this location. Burger and fries were both quite bland. Also, this cost over $15. Five guys is fast food; it is not good enough of a restaurant for a burger and fries to cost over $15. Disappointing.

There are not much options for a quick burger and fries except McDonald's on river rd or the river view diner, but my favorite is probably five guys off of river road. They offer a great assortment of milkshakes and also different types of burgers and even hot dogs cheese or even a bacon cheese dog They do delivery's and Uber eats, they are open daily 11-10 pm While you wait for your meal, try their peanuts Enjoy.

5/5 NOT because it's a great place to eat This is a pretty subjective review The food is pretty good, nothing amazing or worth noting really, I'd never take anyone here either or eat at this place regularly But, this place gets a perfect score for being exactly what it is and not trying to be anything more It a place to get a greasy burger and fries It's heavy It's cooked to order And has a flavor and texture that's consistent every time, and the one time my burger wasn't great, they made a new one no questions asked The place is clean - a bit outdated in a way but that's part of the charm - it is a classic fast food spot not really a place for Instagram Good seating area The service is pretty good The place is pretty clean The price is reasonable for what you get They have a great selection of toppings The fries are always way more than what one person normally sees in an order Again; This place is a special occasion kind of spot I only come here when in a certain mood for it But when I am I'll easily eat to regular cheeseburgers Wouldn't suggest anyone come here unless they want something greasy

Every time I come to this Five guys location it is perfection. The food never takes toooo long to be cooked. Every time it's the same 10/10 deliciousness and I love that consistency. You always get extra fries in your bag which are piping hot and goood. My boyfriend loves coming in here to eat the peanuts while we wait and a bag for after his burger too lol. This is my go-to burger in the area. For a chain restaurant this place has nailed it in Edgewater!

One of the best Five Guys joints I've been to. Food is great cause hey, it's Five Guys, but the staff is the friendliest I've encountered.

Staff was very helpful & honest about what we could eat with our dietary restrictions, even considerate about pricing. Service was very fast. But I must say when it comes to food in the city this place has awesome pricing with decent portions! Food was flavorful but next time I'm going to try extra spicy. Even the drinks are really well priced and the hibiscus tea is AMAZING!! Wish I had gotten 2. What a gem in the middle of an area that tends to be very pricy, this business clearly has honest prices! Much appreciated! Also if you use the inKind app they are on it.

We were seated quickly, and the service was attentive. I ordered the agua de sandía (watermelon juice) and the Baja crispy fish taco, while my friend got two tacos. The watermelon juice was refreshing, and fresh, without added sugar. The tacos were flavorful and enjoyable, and I appreciate that they are served on corn tortillas. We were also given complimentary chips and salsa. I've visited several Tacombi locations across NYC, and they are consistently reliable in both quality and experience. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food. I would definitely recommend this location, as well as any of their others.

Around 6pm all tables were taken; lots of families dining! We were told 15-25 minutes for a table but I'm not even sure we waited 5 minutes. We definitely waited longer for someone to take our order, which wound up being the hostess. Based on the service we received (barely any throughout our entire meal), it seems this location would be better suited for ordering at a counter, seating yourself and having your number called when food is ready (or brought to you). The taco Tuesday special is BOGO with cheaper tacos taken off bill. I had the Al pastor, crispy fish and barbacoa, which was a special collaboration (and the most expensive at $7.99). They have a good kid's menu. Much improved from when I was here years ago and the food was too spicy for kids. I ordered a michelada; it's $3 more than the price of the beer you choose. I was a little suspicious of what it might taste like when brought to the table. Whatever they use to make the michelada was brown. It wound up tasting pretty good.

With…read moreno interest in cooking, I remember becoming a semi-regular at the Gray's Papaya located at 6th Ave and 8th St and always ordering the Recession Special: two dogs loaded with onions and a papaya drink. It wasn't the best quality frankfurter, but somehow it worked with my indiscriminate palette. Flash forward a century or so, and this is the only Gray's Papaya left in the city. Since I'm a survivor, I thought it only appropriate to take Jamie to the original flagship location and order what else but the Recession Special. Sure enough, they still offer it for $7.50. It was $1.95 when I was a child, but it's still a good deal consisting of 2 Hot Dogs (Photo 10) and a Medium Papaya Drink (Photo 9). The franks were the same as I recall, nothing special but if you add onions and pay an extra 75 cents for the chili, it just works. The papaya drink is not a fruit juice but a puree mixed with sugar and milk. It actually complements the dog in a guilty pleasure kind of way. There was a line but it moved fast. Plenty of room at the red mini-counter, so I was able to relive my youthful dining dalliance with little effort.
