    Bananas foster cheesecake

Amazing dinner at The Still Whiskey Steaks! I had the NY strip with mashed potatoes and a side of Brussels sprouts, and everything was freaking perfect. The Brussels sprouts were a WOW, so good. We ended with a shared bananas foster crème brûlée cheesecake, which was the perfect finish to the meal. Aaron was amazing, and Sean/Shawn -- I hope I'm spelling that right, was also incredibly friendly. Both had great customer service skills and made the experience even better. The ambiance was perfect: not too loud, no harsh bright lighting, and such a rustic, curated feel. Overall, an amazing dinner and definitely a place I'd recommend. A Great Steak!

My husband and I both ordered the 12oz ribeye with a loaded baked potato. Started off the dinner with a Malbec from Argentina and dinner rolls with beef Tallow accompaniment. The ribeye and loaded baked potato were excellent, the meat was tender and prepared exactly the way ordered. My only very minor complaint would be that they both came out warm, not piping hot. But it tasted so good I overlooked that.

Came here for graduation dinner and it was a great spot for a celebration dinner. Our server was fantastic really nice and made it a fun experience for the graduates. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and felt like a log cabin. The list is whiskey is extensive and had a great variety for each kind of whiskey drinker. I loved the old fashion flight which gave me the chance to try one of each. Since a few of us don't eat steak it was great that the menu had options for us, I loved my chicken and the tuna was amazing. Those who had the steaks all said it was fantastic the special prime rib was perfectly cooked and all the side dishes were amazing. The waiter had the graduates drink a shot right from the empty bone which was a fun thing to see. The meal was finished off with a sample of all the delicious desserts. Glad I found a new spot for a special dinner when needed in FoCo.

First time coming in after a recommendation and halfway through my meal I called them to thank them. The pricing for neat pours of the different spirits they have began our excitement. Then with our knowledgeable server, Eric, our dining expectations were met. The Elk Steak was cooked to perfection and some of the softest cuts I've ever had. 10/10 recommend we'll be back next time we're in Fort Collins!

We love this place! Great for a good steak dinner date night. We often sit at the bar.

3.5 rounded to 4. The ambience is nice! The decorations were nice, and the lighting gave a good vibe. We came here for the Rocky Mountain oysters, which were chewy and fried nicely. They tasted great with the sauce. I got the New York strip steak with jalapeno cream corn on the side. Honestly, I felt like the steak was just okay... would not get it again. The sea salt caramel lava cake was really nice! I enjoyed it a lot, and it was plated beautifully.

30 ounce ribeye with bone marrow garlic butter. Flash fried brussel sprouts

Wow! If you are in the area and even if you aren't make the trip to try still whiskey. Truly a phenomenal experience. The services was attentive, efficient, and anticipated your needs, not just from your waiter but from the other ones as well. The overall vibe of the restaurant was very relaxing and felt comfortable yet elevated. Now for the food and drink, I will be thinking about this steak for years to come. Cooked perfectly (medium rare), the subtle seasoning enhanced the steak flavor, and the bone marrow garlic butter was a very nice touch. We had the brussel sprouts as a side and these have been my personal favorite (out of all the different types I have tried from other restaurants), they had jalapeno and blue cheese i was skeptical but they were delicious not over powering it just complimented the vegetable. I tried the margarita and no need to fret it was also perfect. I mean from the salt on the cup to the orange garnish just better than i could have imagined. I really feel any cocktail you requested would have been delicious. The bartenders are skilled and will take care of you. Overall you need to try this restaurant and I feel you too will be addicted.

The meat pile, some of the best beef with bone broth and chimichurri over the top and then some fantastic dinner rolls

If you haven't been to this popular restaurant in Fort Collins Colorado you need to go pretty soon. It is just an amazing place just to walk in and have a drink or something. Let alone have one of their phenomenal entrées or appetizers like this is the meat pile we had for Valentine's Day and we had to go back about 10 days later for another one.. services hours near perfect so I have nothing else that I would need from a restaurant! Of course the restaurant is fairly nice so don't wear sweats and a T-shirt like I did.

Ribeye Steak, absolutely tender & delicious, best steak ANYWHERE, with twice-fried breaded fries. OMG, outstanding!!!

When a steakhouse expects me to pay $50 for a steak not much bigger than an iPhone, my rule is - - it better be perfect! And, IT WAS at The Still Whiskey Steaks in Ft. Collins! Matter of fact, our entire dining experience was totally amazing when we stopped in for lunch. First of all, service was OUTSTANDING -- fast, friendly, and informative with a casual vibe. I had the Ribeye medium well, my wife had the New York Strip medium. BOTH were cooked to PERFECTION, juicy, tender, flavorful and exceptionally delicious! I'd pay $50 for this steak anytime -- makes me cry how many times I've paid even more for steaks that delivered far less. Also had the Rocky Mountain Oysters for an appetizer -- OMG, the best we've had in Colorado or Wyoming for over 30 years! Tender and tasty without too much breading and the perfect cocktail sauce, just excellent! And of course, the libations are insane, with dozens of choices of top shelf whiskeys, liquors and cocktails to wet any whistle. Bottom line, The Still Whiskey Steaks is worth more than an hour's drive from anywhere if you're looking for the perfect steakhouse! We will DEFINITELY be back for a long time to come.

I really enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. We started with dinner rolls served with a beef tallow candle made in house. The presentation was pretty cool and had a wonderful, bold taste. The steak was cooked the way I asked and had good flavor. The mac and cheese as ok. I tasted a sample of the Brussel sprouts and wish I would have ordered those. The waitress was super nice and the restaurant was quaint. I would absolutely recommend for a great dinner experience.

Pork grilled cheese sandwich was on point soooo good.

The bar almost resembles something you might find in a small European hotel, which may suggest they are aiming for a slightly upscale tone, though it never feels pretentious. The seating is varied, with small tables and retro chairs that seem intentionally chosen rather than bought in bulk. The spacing is better than most coffee shops, which makes it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. The back area opens up even more, and the soft drapery adds a touch of personality that appears to hint at events or just a bit of flair. The staff continues to be the standout for me. Everyone I spoke with was kind in a way that felt natural, and they knew the menu well enough to help me navigate dairy free options. I usually order the avocado toast on focaccia because it is consistently fresh. The bread looks oversized at first but is airy and soft, and the avocado and radish topping feels simple in the best way. The matcha made with water has also become a go to since it tastes smooth and well-bodied without that chalky, thin finish some places have. My partner and I visited during their Dia de Los Muertos weekend and tried a few themed items. Everything was good, and they were quick to suggest dairy free choices. Prices seem fair, even with the general bump everywhere lately. The only thing I wish they had more of is outlets. It is still a nice place to work for a couple of hours, but coming with a charged laptop helps. The overall vibe is calm with just enough energy to keep the space from feeling sleepy. It works well for coffee dates, casual catch ups, or solo work, especially for anyone who prefers a relaxed atmosphere without too much chaos.

2.5, edging down to 2 stars…read more Not the best food experience I've ever had. They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.
