I had a cheeseburger with tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayo, and a side of fries. The burger was classic and totally delicious. The fries were very good, too. I ate my lunch at one of the picnic tables on the property, which was comfortable and fun (but they don't have bathrooms FYI). The service was friendly, and the place has tons of retro charm. Zero stars I received a "merchant copy" receipt from the…read moredrive-thru lady on August 30 at 10:06 AM and she and I both forgot to check to see whether or not the receipt said "customer copy". (At least they got the food items right.) The law says that restaurants and franchises must give the customer their copy of the receipt. From there, I went home blind slightingly and found a bright yellow and black paper in my bag of food. The paper was for a free sandwich. I went online to the website displayed on the yellow and black paper. There was a screen where I could enter in the store number and two other numbers I needed. I noticed one number was bare, so I could not even enter in for the free sandwich code. Poor service when I drove back the next day. They treated me like I was dirt. I asked the manager for a free sandwich and the customer receipt back. He disagrees and says he doesn't want to dig in the trash can for the customer copy receipt. Losers. I'm not coming back. I'm going to the Gaithersburg Checkers. The only Checkers I didn't want to go to anymore. I told him straight to his face.
