    Five Guys-Cheeseburger/lettuce/tomato

The presentation and the patty is a fail. Many years I have been a fun of this burger joint. But this time and for the second time around in this particular branch, 188th/Fresh Meadows, the burger patties were overcooked and dry. It seems like they want it to make it crispy on the sides. Also, they need to make the presentation particularly the wrapping much much better. For one, they need to maybe, get their precut foil wrapper bigger. The reason, you'll see in the picture. Since the precut is maybe too small, especially so when you have a double patty order, they will flatten the sandwich to make it fit into the wrapper. The finished product then, when you're ready to eat at home, would look like it was sat on by an elephant! See pictures please, and hope that the branch takes their service more seriously

Ordered Hamburger with lettuce, tomatoes and A1 sauce and fries. The other burger had lettuce tomatoes, grilled onions and ketchup. The food was great the employee's nice, sat outside and took extra peanuts to go. Definitely will go back the next time I am in the neighborhood.

    Cheeseburger All the way

I watch them handle my food. I've been to this location at least a dozen times and they are always on point. The cashier is always really friendly no matter who is there. Floors and tables always clean. The staff that's preparing food uses gloves and cover their hair. Everything is very neat. I thank all the staff here for helping me feel I can trust what i eat as i always run in when I'm starving.

One of the better burger joints in NYC, burgers are always good I just wish you can customize the temperature, I've def had over cooked burgers once or twice. Kudos for free toppings! Fries portions are huge, try the cajun fries. Staff is friendly and ordering is pretty quick, took away 1 star because sometimes the wait for your food is ridiculously long.

The Cajun one had a nice blend of seasoning and I really liked it. They use high quality & fresh ingredients and the best part- they're all Halal! I love it! The service was great and the gentlemen behind the register was very helpful and patient with us. The buns were so soft & they dous the burger in their sauces so you don't even need to ask for extra. Inside the ambiance is contemporary and it's an open space with plenty of tables and seats to dine-in which is lovely + it's super clean from the floor to the tables to the register & kitchen area which is an absolute must. So, what're you waiting for? Come & try their awesome burgers, you'll be glad you did

The space inside is pretty simple and minimalistic -- clean, modern, nothing overly fancy. It feels like the kind of place you pop into when you're craving a good burger without making a whole production out of dinner. They focus on smash burgers, so you get those crispy edges with a juicy center, which is always a win. Everything is 100% halal, which I appreciate, and the menu has a few fun options like the Jalapeño Thrill, Garlic Mushroom smash, and even a Morning Flare burger with a fried egg and beef bacon. There are chicken and veggie options too if that's more your speed. I kept it simple and ordered a burger with fries, and it really hit the spot. Nothing overcomplicated -- just a well-made burger, good flavor, and fresh ingredients. The kind of meal that feels satisfying without being too heavy. Overall, it's a great casual stop in Bayside if you're near the train or just looking for a quick halal burger. Perfect for a laid-back weekday meal.

We walked into a simple, no-frills space with a practical layout designed for quick meals and takeout, the kind of place where the focus stays on the food rather than the surroundings. The dining room had a straightforward, functional energy with a steady flow of customers coming in for a quick bite, and the open kitchen gave us a view of the cooking process that added to the anticipation. The fried chicken is the highlight, featuring a crunchy, well-seasoned coating with juicy meat inside. We ordered a few items and found the spicy crispy chicken burger one of the most popular menu items, served on a soft bun with fresh toppings that balanced the crispy chicken well. The popcorn chicken, chicken tenders, wings, and the oversized Orleans roasted chicken leg were also worth exploring, each arriving hot and freshly made. Sides like mozzarella sticks, fries, grilled BBQ skewers, and corn rounded out the menu, and the house seasoning powders and dipping sauces added extra flavor that made each bite feel customizable. Everything is cooked to order, so there was a short wait, but the food arrived hot and freshly made, and the quality of the frying came through clearly across the different items we tried. Service was friendly, and orders were prepared fairly quickly considering everything was made fresh. Portions were generous for the price, making it a solid value if we were looking for satisfying fried chicken in Flushing. The staff moved through orders with efficiency, and the food came out hot and well assembled. Whether we stopped in for a burger or ordered a family-style spread of chicken and sides, Crispy Burger delivered consistently crispy, flavorful comfort food that felt both satisfying and straightforward.

Pickles were spears in a breading that was crisp and tasty - these are so good and sho I love be added to the permanent menu. Tbh whenever I see fried pickles, I always order them. I also ordered the Classic Throwback: #6 ( description copied straight from their website) - Grilled chicken, grilled asparagus, shaved parmesan cheese, fresh lemon, extra virgin olive oil and roasted garlic mayo served on ciabatta bread $17.67 - the perfect sandwich , so full of flavor, chicken grilled to perfection. I could only eat half while at the resto. Hours later I ate the other half and I and it cold and it was still perfectly delicious. I even tasted more of the flavors this time around. The bread used for the sandwich , just so good. This has become a new favorite and I will definitely be revisiting! Also, please add this sandwich to your everyday menu. Thank you in advance. As a side, everyone was super nice and welcoming and attentive to our needs TY!!!!

It's been six years since I last came here. The food is still pretty good and the service was…read morefriendly, but overall I found the sandwiches a bit overpriced. The menu has very detailed, almost elevated descriptions that make everything sound spectacular, but in practice the flavors don't quite come through, especially the sauces, which are barely noticeable. Our server was flexible when we asked to swap the potato chips for fries on the kids' grilled cheese meal, which we appreciated. However, we were then charged $1.40 for a side of ranch for the fries. I understand they have a range of specialty sauces and dips that are clearly priced on the menu, but that still felt steep for ranch. They also offer a combo option to add fries for $5, but the portion doesn't really feel aligned with the price. The steak sandwich itself was surprisingly tender, even though it looked like it might be tough. That said, I couldn't taste the roasted red pepper sauce, and the "sweet onion jam" turned out to just be caramelized onions. My mother actually ended up picking them out because she doesn't eat onions. (she won't eat onions that she can see) The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, but could have been crispier. The "serves two" description also felt a bit generous given the small portion. I also ordered a brisket sandwich to go with fries. The coleslaw sounded great on the menu, but in reality the flavors didn't stand out, no real hint of jalapeño, just a fairly standard slaw. Overall, the food descriptions felt more impressive than the actual execution, though the to-go fries portion was more generous, which was a nice surprise. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Maybe for a casual visit with a few beers and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces...I am a sucker for those.
