Tried and true, if you're craving a traditional burger but don't want the yucky drive through fast food. They have a super convenient online ordering through their website and service is always fast. Pretty big restaurant accommodating for large groups or parties if needed. I'm a big fan of their shakes and their burgers are essentially build your own! Can't go wrong with cajun fries and they always give huge portions. Only bummer is in my opinion they are a little overpriced but overall delicious and good service is worth it for an every now and again treat. read more

Grabbing some late night chow here, thankfully they're open late! The service was great everyone was very kind and all food was made to order, so it was hot, fresh, and very tasty. The interior is the familiar "diner" feel that we all know and most love. The prices are relatively steep for hamburgers and fries. It's difficult to get out of the door for less than 15$ per person. Food is over priced and you gotta deal with that fake GM Sarah. Not only is it over rated but let's not talk about working there. They want you to do more than what's needed and not pay you for it. They don't want to give the people that have been working there for years a raise but definitely will hire a new employee and give them that extra 2 dollars. The food was great!! We got burgers, an all beef hot dog, fries and milkshakes!! It's hot outside and who can go wrong with a milkshake?!? Yesterday I went to Cowheads instead of 5 Guys because of a review stating that CH is better than 5G. Very wrong. Cowheads burgers are not as good and it is more expensive there. This is the best hamburger I've had in 2 1/2 years! It starts with when you walk in. The employees are peppy and friendly. They greet everyone with a very chipper hello. I think Five Guys has the best burgers of any chain. If you've never had one, do so. I always try to stop through here when I come through the Fort. This is a great place for a delicious, greasy old-school burger. It's not pretty, and it's not free. But it is really good. They wrap their burgers in foil, so the heat from the beef steams the bun and melts the cheese. And you have a great list of toppings to pile on. The end product is whatever kind of Beautiful Disaster you feel like stuffing into your pie hole. This place isn't fancy. This place doesn't have a "Dollar Menu". This was the worst 5 guys I have experienced when it comes to taste. I went during the day shift and the lettuce was cold almost frozen the tomato was almost as thick as the patty and after eating a bunch of fries I found one with a hair fried on to it. Woooooow! Judging by the reviews, there must be a lot of people who have never experienced a truly great burger. My bacon cheeseburger was okay but far from the best I've had. For starters, the actual patty was kind of small for a $5 burger and the seaoning wasn't anything unique. There were a few pieces of bacon that were just too chewy and fatty to eat and the cheese wasn't melted. The toppings where what made the burger good. After ordering a drink and fries (which by the way are much to big for one person) the total came to a whopping $10.25. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Buffalo's Reef. The Parrot Burger has the same ingredients, more meat and will actually cost you a little less. read more

I am reviewing Five Guys...not as a regular customer, but a Door Dasher/independent contractor. It is one of my favorite restaurants to pick up from. They cook everything fresh so I know my customer is getting hot food. They are always nice and ask immediately who I am picking up for and let me know if they are working on it or it's ready or if they just started it. Ever since the COVID, Five Guys has adapted probably the best of any restaurant I pick up from. They have a small outdoor area, as well as socially distanced tables. They wear masks and ask customers to wear masks and provide one if you forgot yours at home. Every single time I go there one employee continuously walks around the store wiping down surfaces to disinfect them. Many restaurants have done a great job to continue to provide quality service during COVID but Five Guys is the leader in this area. Every time I get a Five Guys order I am delighted. read more

My husband introduced me to this place recently. I wish he hadnt! Not because the food was bad but because it was delicious and OH so not good for you! LOL. The burgers were the absolute best I've had ever and the fries were wonderful. If you get a large fry be ready to take them home with you. However, the service wasnt so great the last time we went. We ordered our fries and we finally got them when we finished our burgers :( That was because they threw away our first order because they forgot who had ordered them. Definitely a do again burger place. Simple menu with powerful ingredients. I picked the bacon cheese burger: great flavor and fresh ingredients made it a very enjoyable experience. Five guys is awesome every time. Some chains aren't as good in tourist towns but that is not the case here. Fresh made to order every time. The Cajun fries are amazing and they give you a ton. For the price, I would expect to get my burger and fries, "my way". I was recently told that they can no longer give me "crispy fries" due to company policy. The fries I received were "limp".
