I have been to many Five guys restaurants and, although the food is usually good, here it was the overall experience that renders this low rating. I came with my family of 7 and was greeted after almost 5 minutes of waiting at register. When I asked the cashier if they discount military some worker yelled over "we don't have discounts...ever" I thought he was very rude. The food was not made correctly and my kids had to pick off toppings we didn't ask for...and I found hair in my food!!! Meh...Ive never understood the adulation for this Five Guys or any other across the country...I think a 12 dollar check total for a fast food cheeseburger..fries..and a drink is outrageous....I think the product itself is wildly overrated as well...have always found it to be a tad greasy...fries are good especially doused in the malt vinegar they have in bottles....but give me a Double Whataburger with Cheese Combo for 5 bucks less than 5 Guys any day of the week....when I make my once a year trip to Five Guys it always reminds me of why most people are always broke when I see a Family of 4 dropping 50 bucks on burgers and fries when they could have made the same at home for less than 20....sigh read more

They had to redo my burger twice. They young kids working there kept putting cheese on it, but I ordered just a burger not a cheese burger. The manager apologized each time they made it wrong, but then the same kids would screw it all up again. I finally gave up and asked for my money back. The food and service do not justify spending $24.00 for two burgers, two fries, and two drinks. These are outrageous prices. My daughter liked her burger, but she was stunned at the cost. Trust me, don't fall for the hype and spend a fortune on burgers here. A family of four would cost well over $50.00, and that is ridiculous for burgers and fries. read more

I am waiting for my burgers now, but i just had to start my review about the cashier, shannon. She was sooo welcoming and friendly. She did not rush me while i was placing my order, and even helped me with my decisions. The 3 burgers (2 being doubles and 1 single on a lettuce wrap) came to about $22. My kids enjoy it, they love the milkshakes. The burgers are exactly as ordered every time. I honestly can't complain.

The food is decent here. The Coke Zero was out. Asked employee that was sweeping etc to fix it said okay. He did nothing so asked the on duty Manager, said he would take care of it. Almost 30 minutes later no one did nothing. Did survey GM contacted me by email, I replied with a question over 3 weeks ago to her, she never replied. She could at least have replied. If I return here I will bring my own Coke Zero. A Coke is $2.49 x3 = $7.50 = 24 pak coke. This Five Guys is also 16% higher on their burgers. Pace,Fl. $4.99 Ft Walton $5.69. Not worth the price. Today while eating here (not my first visit), the credit card machine went down. No big deal, shit happens. Instead of dealing with it, a older black lady working behind the counter was blankly rude to her co-workers working the cash register, yelling at them and customers "no credit cards!!! Cash only". Then a Hispanic looking short lady got in to them about it as well. I believe the young employees working the register were stressed out enough over the situation without these two ladies yelling at them. Horrible work environment! Mind you the line was full of military ( myself included) and tones of non military that were looking in awe at these two ladies behavior! read more

This place takes the concept of picking one thing and doing it well. This is a burger joint, plain and simple. They have hamburgers, hot dogs, and fries. But they make the best hamburger money can buy!!! They have basic hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, and then a long list of add-ons (lettuce, tomato, onions, grilled mushrooms to name a few) that don't cost anything additional. It's not very cheap, the average burger is $5, which is a bit high for a fast food restaurant. But let me tell you, they make a better burger than any sit down restaurant I've ever been to. I'm a diehard In-N-Out fan so I'm always trying to find a burger that's just as good. Five Guys is right up there. The burgers are BIG and tasty. If you've got 3 people eating get just one order of large fries. Believe me, it'll be more than enough. read more

Great burger cooked to order with fresh meat (not frozen patties). Came here because one of our hosts wanted our Japanese and Hawaiian guests to experience a 'real' American burger. We were not disappointed, these burgers were great for a chain and the list of free included add-on's you could add to your burgers was insane!! Must have been at least 20 different things! I was warned to only order the Junior/Mini burger rather than the standard (they even have bigger options!) and the small fries (seem fresh and hand cut like Inn and Out on the Left Coast). I did so and was shocked at how much food that was served (again, the USA mainland 2x size standard; when is Michelle Obama going to deal with this place and its promotion of obesity??!!). I barely finished my burger and only 1/4 of the fries.. The food quality was great except for the Cajun style fries that my Tokyo co-workers ordered/avoided (way, way too over seasoned!) and helped me with mine (served plain). Don't believe the hype. I won't be returning. $12 for a burger, fries and a drink in a fast food atmosphere, but the burger was actually inferior to a 99 cent Wendy's burger, and the fries were inferior to any fast food fries. They give you huge portions, I guess that's supposed to make you forget how much you just paid. As for "best burger", not even close. All grease and no flavor. Never again! read more

I guess I'm the modern day version of Wimpy from the Old POPEYE cartoon. I LOVE LOVE LOVE BURGERS....Almost as much as pizza. I've had many burgers all over the country (and obscure parts of Europe) and I have to say Five Guys makes one of the best ROCKIN burgers. Although sometimes I am a big eater (yeah...just sometimes) I have to say I enjoy what they call the "little" burger. One patty. It just seems the correct ratio of bread to meat especially when you load it up with all the fixings. The fries are nearly a work of art. Lastly, I really dig the peanuts. read more

Let me start off by saying that this Five Guys, like every Five Guys I've ever eaten at, has some of the best "fast food" style burgers around. They're absolutely do die for and slaughter most burgers in terms of quality. The meat is delicious and perfectly seasoned, the cheese is gooey and delicious, and toppings are fresh. Their fries are also great, especially with the Cajun seasoning (which I recommend). The only reason Five Guys gets 4 stars rather than 5 is because every time I eat there, it costs $13 (for a burger, fries, and a drink). That said, it's a great place to go for a burger every once in a while. read more
