the inside of a fast food restaurant

This is a great place to take the family for a burger and fries. Everyone is able to order their burger the way they want it and the fries here are fantastic. Having the Coke FreeStyle machines is just an added bonus. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is fast and efficient. This is one chain that is very consistent so you get exactly what you expect, I always enjoy eating here. Today we ate here after church with the family and it was a winner yet again. Keep in mind, when you order a cheeseburger it will come with two hamburger patties. If you want one patty you have to order the little cheeseburger with the rest of the children. The fry order is huge, seriously get a medium or large fry for the whole family to share, also ask for light cajun spice as full cajun can be crazy salty. As always I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, mayonnaise and grilled jalapeños, winner. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful and with the jalapeños being grilled they didn't melt my face. I love the consistency of Five Guys, I'm never disappointed.

If we're talking fast food, this place probably has the best burgers. The meat is nice and juicy but the buns are not toasted so they get soggy. The toppings are also great too and don't cost extra unless you get bacon. The Cajun fries here are cut fresh and you can tell. Only thing is they're not really crispy because they aren't fried twice? Still, the seasoning and the fries itself are delicious.

Big, juicy, sloppy, and I mean the good kind of sloppy burgers :) I love the simplicity of ordering, and what I mean by this is you have cheeseburgers, fries, or hot dogs that's it. You have a list of FREE toppings or you can go "All the way", which means lettuce, mayo, pickles, mushrooms, grilled onions, ketchup and mustard (that's how I like it). I love the huge peanut bags in the middle of the restaurant that you get to scoop out and eat while waiting for your food! It doesn't take too long to make but you'll want those peanuts to hold ya over, I mean they are creating a masterpiece back there, it takes time! I ordered online which was quick and simple no complaints at all. Food was ready when I picked my order up. As always food is delicious but fries were waay too salty, which is out of the norm. Speaking of fries, one tip for first timers (something I didn't know at first), when ordering fries, a small fry will feed 2 people. They fill one cup of fries and then overload with another scoop in the bag! It's a genius idea! Very friendly service, the guys had great manners and when I walked in all the guys yelled out welcoming me to the restaurant. Great service, burgers were amazing, and price is worth what all you get! Eat here!

I had takeout that was purchased an hour prior to when I had lunch, but when I went to open my meal, it was still warm & fresh! It was also wrapped and packaged neatly. I got a veggie burger with cheese, which tasted great! The patty was definitely full of veggies. All the sandwich ingredients were fresh and the whole wheat bun was a nice surprise. The sweet potato fries were also yummy and didn't taste too fried or oily. I would've thought they were baked! For a burger and fries, I didn't feel gross and sluggish afterwards either. I would definitely visit here sometime!

Had the chicken club sandwich with fries and a water. I love a good club sandwich and this didn't disappoint! It was very tasty and satisfying and the chicken was cooked to pet and juicy! The bacon was crisp and the fries were golden brown, crispy and sweet. The inside was extremely clean and comfortable. The temperature inside was cool and the aroma made you hungry. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that it was lunchtime on a Saturday on Wade Hampton and thin place was not very busy. This really scares me when the food is this good but the place isn't busy. This is definitely another "will return soon" place. If you're reading this, yes, give it a try. I think I spent maybe $15 for my meal. Not horrible in today's economy.

Her sleeves are rolled up, a few loose strands of hair catching the daylight as she moves with effortless rhythm. A warm, knowing smile spreads across her face as she happily serves a jug of the house-made egg nog. Soon after, she prepares a crafty Old Fashioned--measuring the bourbon, stirring clear ice in a heavy rocks glass, perfectly embodying the brewery's quirky southern soul and big-hearted attitude. There's a lived-in comfort to the space: scuffed wood that tells stories, sunlight pooling across tables, and small-town pride in every detail. The atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious, equal parts gathering place and second home. I think about that sometimes. I think about it now, pulling into the parking lot, because there is something about a place that has simply endured that feels like a rebuke to everything that hasn't. Inside, locals from near and nearer move through the dining room, shaking hands with people who have been eating here for years. Years. I can't keep a houseplant alive for six months, and these people have been coming back, reliably, to this same place, to order the same food, for years. Chili cheeseburger after chili cheeseburger that creates a sense of togetherness and, at times, heart attacks. There's something almost painful about that kind of loyalty. Or maybe I'm just projecting. I find myself staring at the alternating layers of patty, chili, cheese, and I think onions for a moment before eating, the way you might stare at a word you've written too many times until it stops looking like a word. It is good. It is genuinely, embarrassingly good, in the way that things are good when they have not been overthought. And it was delicious in spite of health value. If you're eating at The Clock for health value, I direct you to the salads with prejudice. The menu runs from salads, to tacos, to hot dogs to a meat and three (or for those in Greer, a meat and four), which is not a range you encounter often in a single establishment. It is the culinary equivalent of a man who says he can fix anything. You are skeptical, and then you watch him fix the thing, and you don't know whether to be impressed or slightly ashamed of your own limitations. Ask anyone around town and they'll tell you about roller skating car hops, late night gatherings after high school games, real ice cream milkshakes. Nobody tells you stories like that about a place they didn't love. They're not telling you about the food. They're telling you about who they were when they ate it. I order the sweet tea. It arrives cold and correct. I'm certain my dentist has a handshake agreement with Jimmy that both will keep each other in business a long time. I will come back here, but not as often as I should. We all have our faults. The Clock has few.
