DH and I were introduced to Fuddruckers many moons ago when we lived in Florida. Over the years we stopped looking for them because of some restaurant's changes to decor or shrinking burgers (one we visited used quarter pound patties to serve doubles/triples/ etc.). After a visit to the GSA we spotted this one and impulsively stopped in. Even on a busy day (Mother's Day) during the lunch rush we found the restaurant clean and being refreshed. The bakery hits you as you walk in; what a great sales tactic! I loved the wave of nostalgia at the signs and neon on the walls. We were greeted warmly when our orders were taken. It was refreshing to have a trainee ask a question and be instructed on how to adjust the order and avoid overcharging. It was a wholesome interaction we didn't expect. Our burgers were excellent. DH had a 2/3 lb and I had a 1/2 pound mushroom Swiss burger. Mine was a perfect medium and divine. The fresh market layout for toppings and condiments were the same as we remembered too. I missed leaf lettuce but that was a minor. All in all we enjoyed the experience and would love to return. read more

Wow, i haven't had Fuddruckers for years! The locations in the N. Atlanta area closed years ago. :( We were visiting Greenville and enjoyed yummy burgers, fries and onion rings. They still have the self serve bar with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, hot cheese and i even tried their fry sauce (which i had not had before). I think they changed the buns a bit, but were still very soft, burger was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Staff was efficient and friendly. Will go again if we are in the area. We wished the spicier cheese dip was available but otherwise it was pretty on par taste wise. Also the fries seasoning was what I remember. I haven't seen Fuddruckers in decades, so i stopped by to see if it still lives up to the glory days of my youth. The service was friendly for the most part. The inside looked like it missed all of its updates starting in 1999 with the ambiance of "I miss the glory days" The menu is not idiot, proof but can still be navigated. The food had good flavor. My burger was overcooked but it didn't bother me. It was a quality burger. The fry's were cooked nicely, but the portion size was tiny. The sides were not impressive: tomatoes 3 ways, onions 2 ways, and lettuce 2 ways. Sauces were better though. The fry sauce was bussin but the liquid cheese was bland. In the end, it didn't live up to my fond memories , but more importantly, there are other burger places that are a better value. Should have went to 5Guys read more

We decided to stop at Fuddruckers before heading back home today. I think that I had the BEST onion rings that I've ever tasted. The service was great and the food was so FRESH. I ordered a swiss melt (1/3 with mushrooms and grilled onions) with onion rings and washed it down with an ice cold water with lemon slices. I dressed my burger with light mayo, mustard and ketchup and added lettuce and tomatoes. I ate a few extra tomatoes on the side with salt and pepper because they were so fresh and delicious. My son loved his hamburger too, but was ecstatic about the free sugar cookie that came with his kids meal combo. I tried a few cookies as well and the white chocolate macadamia nut one was done to perfection! Greenville made a fan out of me! I'm not one to be excited about a chain, but Fuddruckers has some nostalgia value and my daughter wanted to eat hamburgers for dinner. After a great day of hiking, we stopped in Greenville for dinner. I was originally going to eat somewhere else, but after seeing the billboards I decided I would like to try it again. I hadn't eaten at one in 20 years. Wow! Great friendly and patient service, reasonable wait and delicious food! The food is excellent! Juicy, tasty burgers made to order. They are quite reasonable and you can get a small, 1/2 pounder, or 2/3 pounder of delicious non-greasy beef. You dress your own burgers at a salad bar-type station. You can get fresh lettuce, crisp juicy tomatoes, pickles, onions, chopped onions, and other toppings. The fries are excellent, but they hand batter their onion rings and I decided to order them. They aren't extremely flavorful but they are fresh onions with light crispy breading and they hit the spot. My daughter loved her burger and fries and she got to try Cherry Coke for the first time! We decided to cap it off with milkshakes. Great choice there too! It's a chain restaurant and it wouldn't say that was the best burger I had ever eaten, but it was absolutely delicious and even better than I remember! The family that was at the next table over traveled more than 30 minutes just to eat there. Went to Fudruckers on a busy Friday night. We waited in a long line for about ten minutes, then stat down and our name was called and we picked up the food. I ordered my burger medium and my wife's medium well - both were well done when delivered and the wrong patty (because of cheese) was on the wrong plate (because Fries). That said, the burgers were pretty good. Given the amount of humanity (everyone) that was eating at this fudruckers - they handled the crowd very well. Thus, I strongly endorse this as a quick restaurant for a group and maybe not the best place to get a burger for just a few folks. I'd go to five guys for that. read more

Popular place for the Sunday after church crowd, of which our party of six were participants. We were right up front in the line but the menu combinations represent a wide choice and I had four teenage boys and my wife with me, so ordering took a while. Like Bon Qui Qui, we had a complicated order. Once we ordered, the total amounted to $12 per person, which is priced comparably to the gourmet burger joints whilst the atmosphere here is more like the middle priced burger joint. Food was cooked within a reasonable amount of time. I think the busyness of the kitchen prevented the "doneness" from being accurate. My medium was more medium well, in fact, all the burgers were at least medium well. Not dry, just not as ordered. The buns were fine, toasted and lightly buttered. The condiment bar is always a big hit with tomatoes, jalapenos, lettuce, onion, diced onion, pico de gallo, pickles, relish, etc. and a variety of sauces and hot sauces. The fries are thick cut. They were good, not great, and the serving size was more than I cared to eat. Overall, this was a good experience and may be on our occasional rotation. No complaints, but nothing in particular stood out in comparison to similar other options, except the price was a little higher. read more

Edible, but barely. This was an unintentional stop while on a road trip that went sideways; we were hungry and just wanted to eat and get back on the road. It was nearly empty when we stopped in and now I know why. This place reminds me of the places I used to go when I was a kid, and nothing has changed. There's carpet throughout the establishment, and you can feel the grease underfoot, going back however many years the carpet has been there. The credit card machine didn't work and the person working there told me what buttons to push, which I repeatedly explained I had already done. I ran my card through 4 times and she kept repeating herself as though I didn't understand what she was saying. Then she got a manager over, who ran it through a different way and it finally worked. The burger resembled faux meat from a can and I was a little sick to my stomach from the get go. Just moved to the area so trying lots of new places. Place seemed dark when pulling in. Wasn't sure if they were open. Walked in the front door and no one was at the bakery counter, moved on to view the burger menu. Once we were ordering it became clear the cashier was very easily confused and didn't lead us through the ordering process. She became frustrated with me and told me wait, first things first how do you want your burger. Ok so lead me.... idk how this works but you should. Several times durning the order she gave us blank stares and/or visibly irritated. When we did get the food the burgers tasted great. The salad bar however seemed dried out and old. My daughter got a milk shake which wasn't done until after our meal even after asking for it twice. I'll go back for the burger but with much lower expectations next time. read more

My husband and I traveled here to Greenville, Sc for the first time ever celebrating our 26th year wedding anniversary. Never saw nor ate at a Fuddruckers restaurant stopped in, there was an amazing young African American female that served us at the cash register on June 4th 2021 at about 7:30pm didn't get her name sorry but she was very friendly and with the help of Rose Anderson another amazing woman assist us with having the most amazing first time experience. Food was great thank you so much for such a great first time experience Ms. Rose an the amazing cashier!! Wish we had a Fuddruckers in Florida. There was a special on a handbreaded chicken sandwich combo that expired the day before we came in we asked about it and was informed special was over but the two of them made it happen for us. We also had onion rings which were great and sweet potato fries that just needed some salt.The only negative is that their homemade buns (which are great) only come in one size, so when you get a small burger it's a bit overwhelmed by the bun. It took about 30 minutes for our food to get ready, no one called us we had to keep on checking for it. At the end the hamburgers came out, undercooked, wrong bread and nasty looking. We asked for white bread and the manager just said "give them the bread". Never had we received this kind of service anywhere else. It is clear this place is poorly managed and the employees do not get proper training. SAD!! There are more options near by. Do not ware your time, money, and tolerance. Right before we entered, we saw a but of what turned out to be 50+ kids eating here two. At this point, fear and anxiety set in. I ordered the most basic 1/3 burger combo with no bells or whistles to beat the on coming storm. I paid, got my drink and found a table in hopes that the young angry mob would decided on descending elsewhere. Despite the mob who eventually entered, my order was accurate and tasted pretty good. A very nicely cooked and great tasting meat patty! All the condiments and sauces were amazing too! I could have almost drank the warm nacho cheese sauce straight from the pump. If the mob of children would not have showed up, I probably would have put my dignity aside and chugged warm nacho cheese sauce straight from the pump. Don't knock it until you try it....
