After breaking the Hamburger up to see the inside

Yall better be sure to check your food before eating from this location if you ordering online. I bit into this burger & immediately was disappointed. I never bit into a burger and seen PINK/RAW meat before. The fries were soggy and very greasy, but I ordered online nonetheless. I real life could've ate this if I had a show on like usual, thats crazy. I can't say anything negative about the customer service, because I reached out to the store and she was very apologetic and understanding about the mistake made on their end to where she even offered a free meal, but I wouldn't eat from them if my life depended on it after some like that.

Five guys is one of our favorite burger places we go. And we went to the one in the shepherds. I ordered the cheeseburger with fresh onion (not grilled), lettuce, jalapeno, ketchup, mayo and tomatoes and my wife ordered the cheeseburgers all the way with jalapeno added. The burgers were sooooo good. We also added the fries but the fries weren't as fresh as I expected (which is why I gave 4/5). But, the staffs were super nice and the burgers were very delicious. We went there pretty late but the inside was very well kept and clean which you rarely get to experience in a fast food places. Overall, five guys is a pretty good place to go if you want some good burgers !!

My fries were stale and cold and 5$ for a little cup is ridiculous never again Especially if you're charging that much they should at least be hot ....

OK so let me start with the burger and fries were as good as they ever were. My only argument today has to do with the drinks because they did not have ice tea, and after asking them if they could replace the cartridge their answer was well we forgot to order it so we are out And since I do not drink sodas I had food without drink which in my book is not a good combination, this from a company that is sending market researchers to all of their locations to figure out why their business is down

    Oreo Creme Milkshake
    Milkshake Logs L.

Five guys Oreo Creme and Salted Caramel No Oreo pieces are used in this milkshake. Just the creme filling you find between the cookies. Price: 5.45 + whipped cream .20 total - $5.90, but all mix-ins are free. Taste: It tasted like a regular vanilla milkshake. I tried to taste the Oreo creme, but it never stood out to me. It took him less than 30 seconds to remake the milkshake, so I'm not sure any Oreo creme was thrown in. The salted caramel tasted the exact same, which is shameful. Consistency: Smooth consistency. This milkshake sipped like it was from a burger place. Easy sip, not a lot of work needed since soft served is used. The milkshake reminded me of clouds. Appearance: The Milkshake looks like an average fast food milkshake. Nothing was out of place. The salted caramel milkshake was delivered, so the whipped cream was flat, I won't hold it against them though. Time 4:42 - 4:50 The number system is used to pick up orders and there were three orders ahead of mine. It's only fair regardless of what I ordered. Quality of Service: Cashier was very helpful and explained the different flavors to me. The establishment was semi clean, but not filthy. Every table is spaced out appropriately to enforce social distancing while people eat. My order was messed up. I specifically told the cashier Oreo creme, no cookie pieces and they still made it wrong. I had a feeling this would happen. Update: I tried their salted caramel and it tasted the exact same as the Oreo creme. Please don't believe the hype of these milkshakes. They all taste the same despite the flavoring. Same the time and order a vanilla milkshake. I won't be wasting my money again. Overall Rating: 1.5 Shakes

Regular order of fries is plenty for two

Five guys, a million fries, and one little hamburger. That's what you'll find at this casual establishment that's been around for years. Walking in, I didn't know what to expect. I haven't been to a Five Guys for 8 years, and had no recollection of the taste of these burgers. The ambiance reminds me, ever so slightly, of Mighty Fine in Austin. Taste wise? Not quite the same. I ordered the Little Hamburger (just under $6 if I remember correctly) with grilled onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and catsup. Not quite all the way - they have mayo and mustard too of course. The burger came out hot and greasy. It was a pretty juicy and tasty burger. Mine wasn't too greasy but the boyf said his was pretty greezed. The flavor was what you would expect for a burger, with no thrills and frills involved. The size was good for the cost - the little hamburger is one party while the normal burg is two patties. We split a medium fries between the two of us and it was still too much. I know, I know. How can you have too many fries?? Well, the fries were good but not crunchy. Nothing special about them but good nonetheless. I would recommend that even a small between two people is enough. All in all, not the best burger but if you want something juicy and classic, this place has got that. (As well as free peanuts and magazines all over the walls talking about how great Five Guys is - they may or may not be real magazines.)

Bacon Cheeseburger w, Regular Cajun Fries

Wow. I was surprised by this little burger joint. The service was quick. The food was great. I like u get to chose whatever toppings u want on the burger without being charged for every little thing. So I filled my burger up! The fries are good as well I got a regular and should have gotten a small they overfill your cup and had more fries in the bag. The pic of fries was only half eaten. The Cajun seasoning top tier!

Nothing upscale or authentic, but orange chicken like you'd find in a mall food court. Sichuan Pepper Express fit the bill. You walk in and all of the food is premade and sitting under heat lamps for who knows how long. The lady behind the counter was super sweet and immediately helped me. The combo plates start at 1 entree choice + 1 side for $8.50. Add an additional entree for only $2 more. I ordered the Combo 3 which is 3 entree choices + 1 side for $12.50. For the amount of food I was given, quite a reasonable price. For my entrees I got the (you guessed it) Orange Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken, and Amazing Spicy Chicken. All "fried" dishes...by no means authentic. But everything surprisingly stayed crispy and hot on the drive to my office. The Orange Chicken had a good amount of sauce on the outside, but quite dry on the inside. The Black Pepper Chicken was probably my favorite and was small crispy pieces of chicken in a black pepper sauce with onions and jalapeños. the Amazing Spicy Chicken is basically the fried spicy chicken cubes you'll find at any Szechuan restaurant. This was my first experience seeing it in a mall-style restaurant pre-made. While I will always order this when eating Szechuan food, I thought the one here had a tinge of sweetness to it, which I found a bit off-putting. For my side, I got the fried rice which was your standard fried rice. I did notice that this one had quite a few pieces of raw onion in it, perhaps did not get fully cooked through in the stir fry process. As a result, a few of my bites had a bite to it because I was rawdogging these onions. Definitely a spot for convenience if you're in the mood for quick Chinese food on the go. While there is room for improvement in the quality, need not forget that all the food here is pre-made and has been sitting out until you order it. I'll be back to try more of their offerings.

Between the group we ordered two HOT Chicken Thunder Fries, the HOT MESS fries, three orders of the jumbo chicken tenders and waffles (two hot honey, one plain), a full order of mac and cheese, and the Cheeseburger Fryders. It was a lot of food and somehow it was all hot, fresh, and honestly really good. I love a sweet and savory combo when I'm expecting it, and this place definitely delivers. The waffles reminded me a lot of classic Waffle House waffles and the tenders were huge and actually seasoned well. The loaded fries were seriously loaded too. Lots of sauce, lots of meat, and we definitely didn't feel cheated. We were stuffed and still had leftovers. The only thing I personally wasn't crazy about were the Fryders. I think mini waffles as buns would've been better, but they weren't bad and my friend scarfed them down. Service was quick once we ordered and the staff was super chill. They let us sit there gossiping and picking at food for almost three hours without making us feel rushed, which I really appreciated. A couple small complaints though. Ordering is only through the iPads so you don't really get to ask questions, and the tables could definitely be wiped down a bit more often. Also the AC could be turned down a little... it was pretty cold in there. That said, the prices are actually pretty reasonable for The Heights. I spent a little over $50 myself and didn't feel scammed one bit considering how much food we ordered. Funny enough we originally tried to go to their Alabama location on Sunday but the line was out the door and parking was a nightmare. My friend literally drove off and told us to cancel. We ended up driving about 26 minutes to this location instead and honestly I'm glad we did. Great food, quick turnaround, and a fun spot to hang out for a while. We'll definitely be back.

I remember the hype this place got as they started out and moved from their original spot to this new spot on Shepard. Now that they have inside seating, I figured it was time to check them out. I was in the area at a local bar with friends, and a few friends ordered Mico's through DoorDash. It looked and smelled so good that I decided I had to have it that night, but at the restaurant. I pulled up to what looks a new building. They share a lot with other businesses but I was able to get a parking spot easily. The restaurant is spacious with lots of seating. They also have bar seating by the register. When I looked around, I noticed alot of people waiting on food. It was a mix of food delivery drivers as well as patrons that had ordered and waiting. There was a customer at the counter going off on the employees and I got to commend the young staff for keeping their cool. That being said, the young staff was friendly and trying their best, but they were drowning and the mood in the place was off. Items were forgotten. People were not getting their food in the order of when they ordered. Four parties ordered after me, with similar items and everyone got their orders before mine. I think I was forgotten and only after one of the staff noticed me waiting did they come and look at my receipt. Time from ordering to receiving my food was close to 40 minutes. This is a hot chicken place that is trying to be somewhat fancy. I was served my food on a nice plated plate. Nice touch, but it felt off for the food being served here. They also give utensils in cloth napkins. No paper towels or napkins in sight. Hot chicken is messy and the cloth napkins was not doing it for me. I ended up up knife and forking my sandwich to keep the messy hands from happening. They also serve their fountain drinks in small cups filled to the brim with us. A few swigs and my drink was almost gone. For a place serving spicy food, a soda fountain with refills or readily available water should be available and out front. Now to the good part. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich at their hottest level which also came with a side. I got the waffle fries. The sandwich was voted one of the best dishes in the state by Texas Monthly and I can see why. It was a hefty sandwich with a large chicken breast seasoned to perfection. I always love when their is a little hangover of the chicken outside of the bun. The chicken was crispy but juicy inside. The heat was there but totally bearable with the cooling component of the delicious slaw on top. I usually pick pickles off sandwiches, but the pickles here were good and the acidity added a pleasant touch to the sandwich. The waffle fries were also excellent. They were the battered and seasoned kind which I love. The food most definitely saved the overall experience on my visit here. I will say it is one of the better hot chickens I have had in Houston. Now if they go back to their roots and not try to be fancy and do better on their customer service, I can see this place sticking around for a long time. With my experience, I don't see myself hurrying back anytime soon.

I mentioned that their Google listing says pets are welcome, and the response was that it applies to a different location. That would be fine if it were clear, but the listing I checked had this location's address directly underneath "pets welcome." That is confusing and misleading. What made it more frustrating was the lack of hospitality. There was no greeting, no attempt to clarify kindly, no "We're sorry for the confusion," and no effort to offer a solution like helping me quickly order to go. It felt dismissive. Clear and accurate information matters. If pets are not welcome at this location, the listing should reflect that.
