I give 5 stars since it is the best of its class in fast food. I have been making Five Guys my burger stop for years now. Why I've never reviewed? Well, I don't think I have much to add to what has been said. Burgers are really good. You can customize it to however you like with as many free toppings as you like or opt for premium toppings also. I used to order the regular bacon cheeseburger, but lately have opted for the little bacon cheeseburger since it's plenty. Trust me the regular size burger is a monstrosity of a burger, plus it's hard to keep the toppings from plummeting out. The same goes for the fries. They are freshly cut each day and they taste amazing. The Cajun fries are good as well. A small order is plenty once again, as they stuff the cup of fries and then dump another scoop on top and into the bag leaving all those wonderful grease marks. Service is really good as well for a fast good place. The same guy is usually at the front counter and he is very efficient They have the endless choice soda fountain as well so you can flavor up your sodas and mix things up. This is a chain restaurant. It started out on the east coast. The burgers are very tasty. Very simple menu as well: 4 ways to get your burgers, dogs, veggie sandwich, grilled cheese,and the fries are five guys style or cajun style. All toppings including (mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, relish, jalepenos, A1 sauce, bbq sauce, hot sauce) are FREE! It actually comes standard as a double so 2 slices of thin patties and 2 slices of cheese for the normal burger. All burgers are 100% fresh beef with no fillers or preservatives they claim. The board states today their potatoes are from american falls ID driscoll brothers so I assume they use fresh potatoes from different areas of the United States. They also have bins of bulk peanuts available for free to snack on.. I would not recommend coming in if you are allergic to peanuts. The service was very well coordinated and fast for as many people who were in line. There are more and more popping up in Indy so no matter what side of town you are on you can get a quick good quality burger! read more

Did a good delivery for a cust where I had to pick up an order... I walk e up to the counter and everyone acted like I was fucking stupid... Then the cashier was like they'll have it at the end of the counter went and stood by the unmarked "pick-up" area where a Hispanic man was yelling order numbers so I asked is that for Adam and he continued yelling the number like I was stupid so I ignored him... He proceeds to give attitude and yell numbers... Then they made cust milkshake before his food was ready so cust milkshake was melted before I even left the store... Wow...smh read more

And, if it had to be a chain, I'm glad it's Five Guys! So last time we were here they messed up my order they didn't put what I asked to have on my burger.. now we're here again, and again they mess up I order a cheeseburger with the fixings; and that means it comes with two patties, when we received our order my boyfriend got a bacon cheeseburger with an extra patty and he got the most sad portion of bacon on his sandwich and he let that slide because he's not one to say something.. then I bit into my burger and he notice I only had one patty when I paid for 2 to be on my sandwich.. I went up and the offered to remake the sandwich but I just told them to give me another patty as I really didn't want to wait for a whole new sandwich.. they were nice offered me a drink but we had already bought drinks. This location used to be amazing, we used to come here very often and recently we've stopped because the kitchen keeps messing up. I just caught myself slipping. I did not take a picture of that huge and delightful cheeseburger that I ordered. Five Guys is on the top of my list for best cheeseburgers in Indy. My burger came piping hot (of course because they are cooked to order) and it was full of the ingredients I ordered. I would suggest getting tomato on the side if you like your burger to retain all sense of PipingHotness. The tomatoes are pretty fresh and cold so it creates a cross contamination of hot'n'cold feels for the tastebuds. I took mine off and sprinkled pepper & salt on them. You could say I turned them into a side. Beyond that, our burgers were GREAT ! I like Five Guys because not only do they cook to order and serve you a huge bag of freshly cut and well seasoned fries, but they do it quick enough for you not to have to sit at the table and eat peanuts (unless you want to) in order to refrain from arguing with your stomach growls. Hot, cheesy burgers - how can this go wrong??? Many places do. I have gone to places with ingredients that TASTE like they were flown in from a NY Sewer system. I've also had burgers served with cheese that wasn't even half melted. But Five Guys gets right all the time. If the cheese is not melted on your burger when you unfold that silver foil, just fold it back up and count to 15. ...it will actually take care of itself (the way I assume other places think will happen w/their science burgers). NO COMPLAINTS. Actually I take that back- My complaint is that I can't eat burgers every single day. If I could, I would visit Five Guys at least once a week. But that isn't feasible or healthy. But the next time I'm ready for a gooey cheesy burger with the perfect fixins' and cooked fresh - Five Guys is where you just might find me. Fantastic burger joint! I think this is the best burger I've ever had. I took my dad last night to Five Guys for his first trip. Literally everything was great. Since it was my dad's first time he wanted to really study and understand the menu. I was becoming much more impatient than the very nice guy behind the counter. Dad wanted some jalapenos on his sandwich and the dude behind the counter warned him that they're fairly hot and suggested going 'light' on the pepper. Dad agreed and it was a good thing. His tongue was burnt when he bit into the first one on the sandwich! The jalapenos actually looked fresh. Not sure, though. Service was perfect, and much better than many restaurants I've visited that offer table-side service. The food is phenomenal. I can't underscore enough that this may be the best burger out there. This is by far the Best Burger Chain anywhere around! Think Steak n Shake only a million times better. The burgers are so fresh and really high quality beef, the best thing is that they have pretty much any topping you want and its UNLIMITED! The standard burger is a double and comes with gooey cheese oozing down the side onto the wrapper. Trust me, you will need an entire roll of napkins to get through this deliciousness, not to mention the perfectly cooked fries, which they make straight from the freshly peeled potatoes. Yum Yum Yum. The burgers here are amazing and I am addicted. The number of toppings you can request is limitless for no additional charge, but thye do stick to some pretty typical options. No blue cheese, which makes me sad as my FAVORITE burger is black and blue. Pricing for a burger place it is a little higher then I would like to see, but then I weigh in the cheap options are typically soy filled hockey pucks. The Guys give you a real beef patty, A normal is a double, if you can't handle the meat get a little one- its a single. Oh and the fries! Go Cajun and a reg is more then enough for two! This was my first visit; will not be my last. Went during lunch, but it wasn't crowded. Restaurant was bright, clean, and spacious. Guy at the counter was very friendly, informative, and helpful in getting me familiar with the menu and their options. My order came up pretty fast. The whole family enjoyed this place and we try to go every time we go to Trader Joe's, since they are in the same parking lot right there on 82nd street. My family all get the junior cheeseburgers and share one small fry. The junior burgers are like quarter pounders or bigger, and the small fries are like super gigantic biggie sized monsters.
