Yes, I'm 7 months late..April 2021. Parking is very limited, your best bet is to double park and have someone wait in the car. Outside is very sketchy. You have people hanging out in front of the restaurant which is next to a Chipotle. Food was great! Maybe because I was extra starving. Lol. Ordered a well done bacon cheeseburger with Mayo & lettuce. Fries were good as long as they come fresh out the fryer.

It was pretty good all around. It didn't take long to order and the staff were nice. Once we ordered it did take a little bit to get all the food, but it was dinner time so it's understandable. It can be hard to grab your order when they call it because people tend to crowd the pick up counter. When we got our food it was warm and fresh. I ordered a little hamburger, plain and it was well-cooked. I also got a little fry Cajun style and it was pretty good. They included lots of seasoning, but it wasn't my favorite. I think I prefer the regular fries. The vanilla milkshake was great, but it came out about 7 minutes after the rest of the food. Would eat there again.

I ordered large fries for $8.39 with the expectation that they will give me the 'Five Guys Portion' of fries. But nope. Just a cup-full of fries. No more fries in the paper bag. Who charges $8.39 for this amount of fries? Really Five Guys? Please make this right.

Disappointed! We order from them at least once a month. I hate that I have to go through a delivery service but it is what it is. I ordered a Little Bacon Burger and forgot to get the cheese. So once we got the order I went to add the cheese and the hamburger patty had a huge chunk out of it. and you can tell that it was cooked that way because the area was seared on the edges where the rest of the patty would have been so technically I got 3/4 of a patty. It is already super expensive with delivery let alone trying to get something fixed. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I came down to this location a few days ago and it was legit. Service was A1 from the cashier, (tall, thick, white boy) on down. Coke freestyle machines appear to be in service. I got all the toppings I asked for, fries straight from the oil piping hot. Got home and my food was still warm. Seating capacity has resumed at 35%, so folk were inside eating. They were good to me.

I literally have nothing negative to say about this place. The staff is always very friendly and efficient. The restaurant is always clean and even when it's packed, I've never had an unpleasant wait. Now for the food -- this is one of my favorites, second to Shake Shack. The burgers are perfectly cooked, not too raw, not too well done. I always load my burger with plenty of toppings and they always get it right. The fries are equally as perfect. Whether I get them regular or Cajun, they never let me down. Note: I always get the small fry because they dump an extra scoop in the bag which adds up to a medium. The prices are kind of steep, but the fry trick saves you a bit. If you love a great, juicy burger and a pleasant atmosphere, definitely stop by this Five Guys location. They won't let you down.

I've been coming to this Five Guys location for years. I loooove their burgers and the fact that you can customize them and add all kinds of toppings. They always give a ton of fries so I never get anything bigger than the small size. The location is pretty big with plenty of seating and its wheelchair accessible. It's always in order and very clean. I like that you can eat as many peanuts as you want while you're there, they're pretty good. There's also a little section where you can leave love notes/recommendations for the restaurant. Id say its a little on the pricey side but worth it.

I've always heard good things about this chain, and finally gave it a try with a fellow Californian. Was hesitant at first because the reviews are so poor, but yelp isn't always the most reliable thing. Had no clue what the difference was between a regular and a little, but we both went for the little cheeseburger with everything and shared a regular fries. The little was more than enough for me... I was expecting sliders, but it actually seemed like a regular sized burger. You get all the toppings for free, which is pretty cool. As reviews said, the portion of fries is huge, and you better believe it. We didn't even finish half of the fries because we were too full. Fries are okay, not crispy or crunchy...more on the thick side. Our total was a little over $15, which is hella expensive for 2 burgers and fries. I'm still adjusting to New York prices, but geez.

I want you in my life forever ... #neverletyougo

The food is some what okay. However, they need to hire much nicer people. They are very rude and disrespectful. I will never go back there.

We were seated quickly, and the service was attentive. I ordered the agua de sandía (watermelon juice) and the Baja crispy fish taco, while my friend got two tacos. The watermelon juice was refreshing, and fresh, without added sugar. The tacos were flavorful and enjoyable, and I appreciate that they are served on corn tortillas. We were also given complimentary chips and salsa. I've visited several Tacombi locations across NYC, and they are consistently reliable in both quality and experience. Around 6pm all tables were taken; lots of families dining! We were told 15-25 minutes for a table but I'm not even sure we waited 5 minutes. We definitely waited longer for someone to take our order, which wound up being the hostess. Based on the service we received (barely any throughout our entire meal), it seems this location would be better suited for ordering at a counter, seating yourself and having your number called when food is ready (or brought to you). The taco Tuesday special is BOGO with cheaper tacos taken off bill. I had the Al pastor, crispy fish and barbacoa, which was a special collaboration (and the most expensive at $7.99). They have a good kid's menu. Much improved from when I was here years ago and the food was too spicy for kids. I ordered a michelada; it's $3 more than the price of the beer you choose. I was a little suspicious of what it might taste like when brought to the table. Whatever they use to make the michelada was brown. It wound up tasting pretty good.

Its origins trace back to the US, right here in New York, so I had high expectations. Sadly, my experience here was a huge letdown. It wasn't even as good as the locations overseas. Value for money is extremely poor. The beef patty was slightly burnt, and the overall flavour combination felt off. It's surprising that in the birthplace of hamburgers, this iconic brand can only deliver such mediocre quality. I'm quite disappointed and won't be ordering from this chain again while in the US. I'm giving the food 2 out of 5 stars. On a positive note, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming -- far better than the burger itself. I'd give the service a solid 5 stars.

Given…read moreenough decades, a basic diner becomes a historic landmark, and a simple hot dog counter becomes a neighborhood shrine. Gray's Papaya on the corner of 72nd Street and Broadway is the quintessential example. Founded in 1973 by Nicholas Gray after he split from Papaya King, Gray's built its reputation on snappy franks, tropical fruit drinks, and microscopic prices. High rents and Manhattan real estate realities eventually shuttered the other outposts, leaving this Upper West Side location as the last one standing. We ordered the famous Recession Special: two hot dogs and a papaya drink. One dog came loaded with mustard and sauerkraut, the other with grilled onions. Both were aggressively, heroically average. They were not bad, which would at least make for a compelling story. They were simply the sort of hot dogs that seemed to spend their lives avoiding taking a firm stance. If hot dogs were graded on a bell curve, these two would sit directly in the middle, quietly hoping nobody called on them. The mustard was mustard, the onions were onions, and the sauerkraut did its job. The papaya drink was cold and pleasantly sweet, offering a refreshing counter to the salty franks. The service was purely transactional. Nobody threw a hot dog at us, but warmth and hospitality are clearly not core company values. You step up, state your order, exchange cash, and move along. Still, three stars feels fair because nobody visits Gray's Papaya in search of culinary perfection. You go because you are hungry on the Upper West Side, you do not want to spend twenty dollars on lunch, and you want a quick taste of a Manhattan that existed before every storefront turned into a luxury bank branch. The hot dogs are strictly middle of the road. The history and price tag are considerably better.

There are several locations across the city, but a local friend recommended this for their food and proximity to the American Museum of History. Because it is incredibly popular, the cafe was very crowded, and the counter-service line stretched straight down the middle of the shop. It was quite difficult to find an indoor table that could accommodate our party of four, so we grabbed some of the outdoor seating instead.
