Their burgers are honestly just okay. Not sure what the hype is all about. Would I return? Maybe. Would I recommend 5 Guys? Sure.

Whenever I need a burger fix, they never let me down. Just grilled greatness! The peanuts to munch on while you wait, awesome. I like the fact that you can get a junior burger on those not so hungry days and a regular burger which comes with 2 patties. Add all the toppings you want. Steak sauce, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles, etc.... pile it on! The fries.....cajun or regular are delish! Grease seeping through the bag. Yummmmmmm..... Just go get you one! read more

Excessive wait with few customers inside. Ran out of napkins and did not replenish them. Fries were prepared well ahead of the rest of the order, and served cold. When we requested new fries, the cook filled 4 orders ahead with the standard portion and the additional amount given. When it was time to replace our large French fry order, we were given a shallow, standard side cup portion, with no added amount to top it off. Once we saw what was served we opted for a refund since the cook was petty enough to short our replacement fries. She then proceeded to give that same order to the next customer who pointed out that was unsanitary and requested his freshly prepared order. The disrespect and lack of cleanliness alongside with poor customer service is why we won't be returning. We were in informed of the new management at this location, which didn't have an issue in our previous/numerous visits to this location for almost 10 years now. Completely dissatisfied. read more

I absolutely love this chain and location. I am never disappointed. Every time I walk in several of the employees greet me. Stand up customer service! And they always thank me when I get my food and say goodbye. That really stands out in today's market. Those simple gestures alone would keep my business, but the burgers are freaking awesome! I love that my order is ALWAYS right. No matter how many items I customize my burger, hot dog, or sandwich with it is always correct. Plus the Cajun fries are very yummy and plentiful. It's nice to have some peanuts while waiting for your fresh burger and fries to be cooked to order as well. And they are fast too! Oh and the coke machine is fun!! Hands down one of the best quick service restaurants I've EVER been to. Whomever is handling training here - 2 HUGE thumbs up. The three gentlemen working tonight (Russell was my cashier) were not only some of the most hospitable person I've ever interacted with in a yesterday day but they also handled my order and the orders of those waiting around me quickly, efficiently, and most importantly CARED if we were all happy. When walking in this place it was clean and the employees were friendly. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger, grilled onions, lettuce, grilled mushrooms and A1 sauce. I can eat their burgers but I still don't give in to all of the hype. I do like that you can get ingredients that aren't normally found on fast food menus. The buns are fresh and the burger patties are hand made. Too bad the buns are soo fresh they thin out and tend to get soggy quick. Too dang greasy, like sloppy mess, cheesesteak type burger. They gave me and my friend huge heapings of french fries to complete our regular fry order. Both of us had enough fries to take home. That's always a plus. For me though, the burgers are thin and not outstanding but knowing that the are fresh and include no fillers, no preservatives, and no msg is the only thing that raises the bar for me to eat here. Love this place! My wife and I go there for lunch/dinner when we are craving burger. It makes you feel cozy especially in winter time. Free roasted peanuts is another highlight. They now even serve soda machine which you can mix the flavor you like. read more

Just great burgers & awesome fries. It's all I get here and I always overload it and they do it to perfection. I can't resist unlimited toppings at no additional cost! Devils! My 10 year old son, who along with his sister is part of a group he invented called "The Burger Hunters," rates it the best burger in the Baltimore/DC area! They have those cool digital fountain soda machines, but several flavors were missing during our last visit. I've never ordered a burger with cheese IN MY LIFE. I ordered a little bacon burger with the toppings that I wanted followed up by my boyfriends order, some fries, and a drink. When I got my burger I took 2-3 bites and discovered there was CHEESE on my burger. I looked at the receipt and realized it did say cheese and the cashiers did Read it back but maybe I was too zoned out to realize she said cheese (if she did). I almost said eff it and at the burger but I just COULDN'T and I'd hoped if I admitted my fault at mishearing the manager would understand and would make me another burger. First of all she had an ATTITUDE because she had to come out of the back then gave me nothing but attitude when I was explaining the situation. She agrees to remake it goes to get the employees who ALL disappeared to the back and yells, "TWO REMAKES IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES!!! GREAT JOB GUYS!!" And proceeds to make the remakes and cheese situation a big deal and the entire restaurant could hear. Somehow it took 3 people to "sweep" so they could come out and see who I was. And she kept talking junk the whole time! As a manager you shouldn't be reprimanding your employees/team in public you do it in private and praise in public. This was my burger place BEFORE Obama helped put them on the map. These taste just like my Dad made when I was a kid. Walk in, order a burger and fries, then sit and munch some peanuts while waiting for your order. You come here when you don't want to do the drive-through fast food thing. Until today my overall experience with Five Guys has been pleasurable. Today one of the workers was the most unprofessional, rude ,and ghetto person I have ever met. She got upset that my girlfriend returned her burger because THEY made it wrong. She had an attitude the entire time while speaking to my girlfriend, remaking the burger, and it continued even after the burger was finished and being consumed. I'm sorry but that is the worst display of customer service I have ever seen in my entire life and this one experience will keep me from returning to this location for an extremely long time. I'm concerned about the advertising. Fresh, never frozen. The food inspector would have a hissy fit if they were getting fresh meat from where???. Come on.. Second, no fillers, no preservatives? Is this meat organic? Can't be, burgers are sloppy with au jus. Organic is too lean. And the burgers are cooked on the grill. Are the cattle grass fed, or grass finished? Big difference. And where are these cattle grazing? Here, or in Argentina? The last three months of any cow's life is spent being fattened up with grain, molasses, etc. And I can tell you that grain has fillers and preservatives. In essence, unless 5-Guys can prove that their beef is left to graze their entire life, then they're lying. If a guy can sue over an inch on a sub, imagine what you could do with this litte tidbit of info. read more

I don;t know what has happened to Five Guys, but it seems that the quality has been gradually getting worse over the years. Obviously, the peanuts are a big draw, and I'm almost positive they are the same as they always have been, but the burgers are smaller and pricier these days. I usually get the cheeseburger all the way, and it's simply okay. In N Out is definitely better than Five Guys but animal style burgers are not on the East Coast as of yet. read more

Five Guys Burgers are probably the best burger that you can get in this area. The lines go quick, the staff is friendly and you can add whatever toppings you want to your burger and the fries go a long long way. This is a chain burger and fries place that has awesome burgers and fries in my opinion. But what really makes it worth writing a review for are the awesome guys that work here. I go often--probably more often than I should hahaa--and the guys are friendly, hard working, professional, enthusiastic, and just a pleasure to see and be around. I would not necessarily think it would be this way at a five guys. I feel like every restaurant should have employees like these running the place. I hope they are appreciated by the managers and owners of the place because they are truly unique and amazing. I also hope they are paid and treated so well. Got a great bacon cheeseburger at this location. The person that made my burger used two pieces of foil to wrap my burger, so she did not have to mash my burger down. They should do that in all of the five guys stores, or may-be I will ask them to wrap my burger in two pieces of foil every time I go two five guys. read more

I stopped in yesterday afternoon to pick up my weekly fries to take home and use with my dinner. There was a lady in front of me that for whatever reason came up short in the cash department. I don't know if the cashier new the young lady or was just generally a nice guy, but he pulled his credit card from his wallet and paid the difference for her. With all the negativity of the election going on and ISIS and cops being shot... it was nice to see that there is still good people doing good things in the world. Kudos to the cashier! This is the worse Five Guys location i have ever been to. The management is horrible. They refuse to answer the phone when you call! The restaurant never picks up the phone. The last time i walked in and ordered food my whole order was wrong. I ordered a bacon burger with a small fry. Everything on the receipt was correct that was attached to the bag but I got home and found out i had a burger with CHEESE and NO fries! I tried calling them to let them know my order was wrong and again NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE! I couldn't eat the burger because of the cheese so i was left with no dinner that night. I contacted the corporate office and filed a complaint just for no one to get back to me! I will never support this business again! read more
