Haven't been in years to a Five Guys, and I remember why . The restaurant was visably clean and the service was good. I was disappointed in the sandwich, mainly because the bun wasn't warm nor soft. The fries were fine, definitely not worth almost $6, because even with a small you get a thousand fries and throw half of them away. The do it yourself drink machine offers so many options. I tried a peach Mello Yellow and had to pour it out, something was off, but the plain Coke was good. read more

Always a great burger!!! I love this location! Clean and the folks who work here are courteous and friendly! If you haven't tried 5 Guys, you need to! Be prepared, the prices are kind of steep. If you're thinking Burger King, you'd be wrong. But, even though the price is high, you get what you pay for! What a great burger! You can't go wrong with any one of them! You need to be hungry to get a fry bigger than a small! Cause it's a LOT of fries! Be sure to get them Cajun dusted! Only complaint I had about this place was the ketchup dispensers were empty. Have to update my review. Things have gotten better with the cheese and overall quality of the burgers. Fries are still pretty limp, but maybe thats just how Five Guys rolls. I'd probably still get Wendys or McDonalds because its way cheaper and their patties are improving, but its nice to have weird options like A1 sauce and relish on burgers so thats what makes these burgers unique. read more

Five Guys along rural I-20. The area has more than its share of burger restaurants already but there is a difference. The French fries are hand cut potatoes which here translates into more natural fries. It can be slower by a good bit than the other hamburger joints in the city, but I guess their model is different. Not "fast food" but not like the nearby steakhouses in their slowness. Hamburgers are not quite cheaper by half than those, but more than McDonald's or Burger King. On a Friday night the burger took 20 minutes, which really is close to "slow food".perhaps the food was ready sooner, and they just didn't call our number, but who knows. Not enough seating or parking but that may just be the novelty of the place for the little town. read more

I wasn't too impressed with this restaurant. I thought because it was new it would be pretty good. I had to wait 20mins for a hot dog that was unpleasant; the fries weren't as good either. For what you're paying I suggest Longhorn. You would be better off going to Sonics for a hotdog. It's definitely a no go for me. read more

The fries are freakin' awesome! That is all I ever get, as the hamburgers are freakin' overpriced!! I hope limiting their hours (11-4) of operation let's them stay open. This is the first restaurant in Oxford,AL (especially in Oxford Exchange) that isn't ever packed. Finally ate at Five Guys in Oxford. Maybe it was an off night, but the burger patty was cooked SO well done, it was the size and thickness of a Krystal burger. Fries were hot though. Overpriced, over hyped. At least Jane's Addiction was being pumped through the speakers. read more

I don't ever leave reviews but when I saw all the negative reviews on here, I decided I had to. Y'all reviewers are freaking ridiculous on here complaining about Covid. JUST STAY HOME. Quit going out and then complaining about the place you are going being open. This FIVE GUYS location is top notch. We drive from Gadsden at least twice a month to eat here. After a nearly 2 year sabbatical from the Oxford location, we decided to visit again today. To say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. The new manager is Keniesha Benson and she is fantastic!! Her smile and welcoming nature, as well as her incredible work ethic, is a breath of fresh air. Her demeanor transfers to her team, as they have wonderful attitudes, as well. It was a night and day difference from our previous experiences. It will be so nice to add this Five Guys back to our dining-out rotation, as we have been driving an hour out of the way to avoid this one. No more, thanks to Keniesha and her team! read more

Five guys is always a good place to eat burgers! I love the option to get a lettuce wrapped burger instead of buns. Unfortunately they miss the main ingredient for a bacon cheeseburger. They forgot the bacon. Anyway, clean location! And the fountain drinks are top notch! read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while . Today my wife brought home a big bag of disappointment. This burgher that cost 15 dollars, had high hopes. As soon as I unwrapped the burgher I noticed right from the start, the bun was so stale and hard it cracked as I picked it up. The meat patty was as thin as a McDonald's plain hamburger but dryer .. It was so dry that it was almost impossible to swollow. The frys where cold soggy and way over salted. After the first bite,I fed the rest to my dogs.. The dogs loved it !! read more

Well, I have heard of Five Guy's before and have always wanted to try one and we finally get one in our area. Well, the food is pretty good, but was not overly impressed considering other factors. It starts with the service where my wife and I who were unfamiliar with a Five Guy's are greeted by a cashier that looked as if she were working there for 10 plus years, rather than a couple of months seemed annoyed when my wife asked how large the sizes were of the fries. The menu is very sparse, as the whole establishment has a Cookout vibe as you order then wait for your number to be called. Had to wait quite a while for the burgers to come even though it was not particularly busy up front as most of the people in the establishment had already received their food. Finally got our food and the fries and burgers were good; however, for two burgers, a regular fries for my wife and I to share and two drinks I spent over 30 dollars! I could have eaten at a seat down restaurant for this price and actually had the food brought to my table and drinks! Complete ripoff, and while the burgers are good, they are not vastly better than Wendy's, who I think has the best fast food burgers. The inside is small and decoration is nonexistent besides bags of peanuts or something so no atmosphere, it may as well be a mall food court establishment as you wait for your number to be called. Not going to be going here again, unless I get a gift card from someone, but just way too much money for what you get. Wishing we had gotten a Red Robin instead, it is pricey too, but it offers more in the way of atmosphere and variety than this place does, which is essentially a super expensive Cookout restaurant. read more
