45 minute wait for a simple ass pickup order is crazy. Could've went back there and made my own order with all the time I was waiting.

    Bacon cheeseburger and milkshake!

I recently visited Five Guys in town, and I must say, it's a burger lover's paradise! The place is kept very clean, and unlike In-N-Out, their burgers are highly customizable with over 10 toppings to choose from. The juicy, perfectly seasoned beef patty, nestled between soft, pillowy buns is simply irresistible! The fries at Five Guys are legendary. Cooked in peanut oil, they're crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. While the fries might be on the expensive side, the portion is three times the size of what you'd get at In-N-Out and much better!

This Five Guys is pretty easy to get to if your on the 44 freeway coming in from the East. We came here, just cause getting to Habit or In N Out was more of a hassle and not on our way. Plus I do like the fries here. My main problem with Five Guys has always been the pricing, cause $13 for a fast food lunch is too much in my book, when compared to Habit Burger or In N Out. Yes, the fries are the best at Five Guys and the burgers are good when you can get them to melt the cheese, but not at that price point. So, I decided to see if I can bring the price down to a reasonable level by ordering a little different this time. There was no line this time either. The burgers .... They try to shame you into a regular burger (2X patties), by calling the single patty burger a "Little Burger". Awww, you're such a unmanly man, you need a "Little Burger"! Girls don't have as much of a prob ordering a Little Burger. The regular should be called a Big Burger with TWO patties of meat and the single should be called a "regular burger" The bun size is the same as are the toppings. But the price really drops down ordering the "Little Burger" and you still get all the free toppings, like grilled onions and mushrooms and tomatoes you want. I got the Little Burger, no cheese, but extra grilled onions and grilled mushrooms along with lettuce, tomato, mustard and catsup. For fries, stay with the small! It's plenty for 2 people even! Big overfill on the fries always. Here's an insider tip: if you dine in and eat most of your fries, you can just go up to the pickup area and ask for a re-fill on the fries ... FREE! You get another big bag of super hot fries to take home if you want or eat right there. The fries are always super hot when served. I do like the Malt Vinegar available now ... just like Habit Burger! The price was more reasonable and we were able to finish the order of fries dining in, so we got another free! Having just one patty instead of 2, made the burger just less of a meat experience and more of a total lettuce, tomato and onion experience. I'll go the one patty way next time I come to a Five Guy's.

Mediocre at best, $25 for two burgers, fries and drinks, noisy. Just an expensive clone of in & out!

Buy "Five-Guys" Fries, but Enjoy "In-N-Out ANIMAL STYLE BURGERS!" It's a much better Cheeseburger!

The fries were pretty disappointing - specially for a place that advertise themselves as "burgers and fries".

The food is not good, parking is awful, etc. Very pricy as well. I could go to a sit down nice restaurant for the sane price.

We ordered 1/2 chicken and got two small breasts+thigh+leg+wing+drumstick. The place was small but pleasant. The service was good. The person who took our order explained to us we could get different spicy levels for the 1/2 chicken we ordered. I sensed that this was out of consideration knowing that their "hot" level is quite spicy

For the chicken, you pick your own flavor/spice level. We went with full platter (whole chicken) with half mango lime and half mild. For our 2 sides, we chose corn on the cob and cole slaw. We also added potato wedges. We grabbed our seats after we placed our order at the counter. Our order was ready around 18 minutes. They called our name and we picked up at the pick up window. Full platter comes with 10 pieces. Mild looked pretty plain but it was super spicy, tasted more like hot. Mango lime was nothing I expected. The flavor was alright but wouldn't get again. Very spicy as well. Chicken was a bit dry but overall, tasted ok. Corn on the cob was a bit burnt. Coleslaw was very creamy. Potato wedges was really good. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Service was friendly. They do offer cups for complimentary water, self serve. Seatings indoor and outdoor. Only one neutral gender restroom for customers. They are connected to Sourdough Bread Company. Ample parking in the plaza.

Let's just say: I've eaten a lot of hot chicken in my day. But the Reaper at Dave's Hot Chicken?…read moreThis was the first time I've ever stared at my food after signing a waiver and thought: Maybe I've finally met my match. Walking in, you're greeted with bold graffiti art repping Redding hard, bright neon, and that clean, industrial vibe that sets the tone is fun, energetic, but serious about heat. The ordering process was easy, the staff was friendly (and maybe slightly amused that I ordered the Reaper), and the food came out quick. The Reaper Bites hit different. The flavor was legit fire, not just heat for heat's sake but after the first bite, the burn crept in like a slow ambush. It didn't punch me instantly; it just climbed, and climbed, and climbed, until my brain politely asked my pride, Are we sure about this? My eyes watered, my sinuses cleared, and for one brief moment, I felt like I could see into the future. The fries were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and honestly a needed lifeline to give my mouth a temporary reprieve between bites. The pickles? Lifesavers. Would I do it again? Absolutely. But with great heat comes great responsibility. If you're chasing the thrill, the Reaper delivers. Just don't forget you will be signing paperwork beforehand. This isn't a gimmick it's a challenge and prepared halal.

People compare it a lot to Cane's and they have some friendly rivalry, so we wanted to partake in the comparison! The gentleman at the register was extremely friendly and knowledgeable when helping us decide what to order! There aren't a ton of options, but the options available are streamlined and give a good variety of spice level and flavor. The restaurant itself was very clean and well kept. There were open tables and our food was ready quickly. Sadly, this is where my review becomes not as enjoyable. I ordered the hot honey chicken and, while the flavor was interesting, it was extremely greasy and lacked any depth within the flavor. Everyone else at my table ordered the sliders and had the same type of experience. It truly left me wondering what the hype about this place was and how it became popular because it just felt like a very standard chicken sandwich/chicken tenders. I don't plan on going back, but perhaps it was the location versus the actual restaurant? It's definitely worth a try because I have heard good things about it.
