Focaccia, pastrami, spicy mustard, onion, avocado, onion, pickled onion, olives, cheddar, cream cheese - served hot! OM NOM NOM

Holy cow! A huge sandwich that hits!! Love the build your own options on top of some kitchen choices menu. The focaccia bread is the way to go! The price is fair, yes slightly expensive but WORTH IT. I don't notice any gluten feee options but I'm not mad at it. I'll sacrifice the allergy. So worth it. Quick, friendly so far & great choices. Will definitely be going back!

We were recommend to this place for some good sandwiches - and it did not disappoint. We ordered from the hot sandwich menu- which takes a little bit more time to be made- but nothing too crazy. We did come around lunch time and they do get pretty busy. There is an online order option on their website if you wish to do so. Our first sandwich was the French dip with au jus. Nothing too crazy different- I feel like you can't really mess up a French dip. The Au jus tasted good and not too salty. Second sandwich was The Kidd- the slow roasted tri-tip - sooo good. If there's a sandwich to get hot- that would be the one. Was packed with meats and had a nice spicy kick. We'll definitely be coming back

Was recommended to here for breakfast after dropping our motorhome off for repairs. The guts said you gotta have their biscuits and gravy! This place is pretty cute, lots of seating and even an ice cream parlor in back, it was closed but looked nice. The employees were really nice too. My hubs and I each got a full order or B&G which is 2 biscuits split open with gravy and we shared a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was tasty but everything was just microwaved or put in the toaster. I just dont care for microwaved biscuits or sausage. It looks like they have got a good sandwich menu. So I'll have to come back and try one, I bet those are better than the breakfast, but it was still good and I'd eat here again! Oh they have a good looking bbq so I really want to try some of that one my next visit

Build Your Own Sandwich with Turkey, Provolone, Veggies on Jalapeño Focaccia Bread

I found Dill's Deli during one of my regular drives from Northern California to Oregon, and fell in love immediately. I now stop by Dill's Deli every time I make the drive, a few times a year, and look forwards to their sandwiches as the best part of the drive. I've enjoyed all of the sandwiches I've ordered at Dill's Deli, but I usually go with a build your own sandwich, with their turkey, provolone cheese and veggies on their jalapeño focaccia bread. The sandwiches always include a generous portion of meat, and their turkey is super flavorful and tender. Their jalapeño focaccia is also a star for me, although I've also enjoyed their Dutch crunch and wheat rolls. My partner gets their salads and is super impressed by how loaded the salads are with meat and the other toppings. We both love eating here and look forward to it as a nice break from the drive. Highly recommend eating here if you're in the area or passing through!

Local favorite! Dill's Deli may be just off Interstate 5 but it feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of the West's major thoroughfare. It's a large space with no nonsense concrete flooring and plenty of stainless steel tables. Deli sandwiches can be made-to-order (see detailed checklist for the options) as well as a selection of barbecue choices-Tri Tip, grilled chicken, and pulled pork. On this Sunday afternoon their was a quick moving line at the counter which the staff worked through with friendly efficiency. And, oh those sandwiches! We ordered a tri-tip (The Kidd) with "run through garden" veggies and hot pastrami & turkey on sourdough. Both were yummy, juicy, and sized so large we could have easily shared. We're taking the leftovers on the road! We will not starve on the way to San Jose (we know the way...) with these sandwiches for snacking. For dessert you can walk through to the connected ice cream shop, 32 Below. That's if you have room! Which we didn't. Always eat local when local is this good.

BBQ Tri-tip dinner, potato salad and baked beans. This is enough for two.

Was actually just looking for a place to buy a couple beers. My hotel was on the north end of Redding and there wasn't much around. Saw neon beer signs in the window and figured that would work. But once I got in and found the beer, I was greeted and asked if I was ready to order. I saw "Tri-tip dinner" on the menu and ordered that and a couple sides. Potato salad and baked beans. Found a nice selection of canned and bottled beers one of the several refrigerators. The meal is amazing! The tri-tip looked a bit well done but it absolutely is not. So tender and a wonderfully strong smoke flavor. There is a bit of heat in the spices, man! This is really good! The potato salad and beans are delicious as well. I just found a great place to eat! Lots of tables inside, very clean and service was quick.

Stopped by mid-day to pick up sandwiches for dinner later. Right off the I-5, easy to get to and very easy to get back on the freeway. Located in a small strip mall & easily seen from the street. There's an ice cream shop connected to the Deli, so dessert is right on hand, if you are craving ice cream. They offer hot & cold sandwiches & dinner plates. You also have the option of creating your own sandwich. The staff were courteous and quick making our sandwiches. It was understandably quiet at 3pm & the place was a little run down but the sandwiches were HUGE and very tasty. I ordered their TBA (turkey, bacon & avocado). My husband ordered their Italiano (he said it had the perfect density ‍). Definitely worth a return trip.

The burrito was solid, but I'd HIGHLY recommend getting the breakfast tacos. Those were hella bomb. We also go the panko french toast, which I thought was decent. It was nothing special, just your standard french toast with panko breading, but still yummy. We went here on a Sunday morning around 1030ish and while it was a bit busy, definitely wasn't overcrowded and they had no problem with seating us promptly. There's plenty of parking as well, so that wasn't an issue. I'll definitely plan on coming back if I'm ever in the Redding area and wanting breakfast/brunch.

When asking if they use tamari or gluten free soy sauce, she said she wasn't sure and pointed to a list of salad dressing options that were marked. Not their rice bowls toppings - heads up- it's regular soy sauce. Also since I was asking all the gluten free questions, it would have been nice to be informed that the tacos were also served on flour tortillas. Not the cashier or the menu indicated this. Luckily I do not have a severe allergy, or I'd be furious. Obviously this place is a bakery, so there's gluten everywhere. I'm not mad, honestly. Just a little disappointed. Any information is best. I got the chimichurri steak tacos, which are covered in chipotle aioli - I'd honestly rename them to be chipotle steak tacos. Get zero chimichurri, the aioli completely takes over. I do like the steak isn't tough though, so still get some points for the attempt. For me, and my gluten sensitivity, probably won't be back since there aren't many options that are actually gluten free.

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol
