Going in and you haven't been before, know that the "Hamburger" on the menu is a double burger. The "Little Hamburger" is a single. When you order from Five Guys, you tell them what you want on your burger by listing your items of choice. They're all listed on the menu so just read out loud and skip the things you don't want. The burgers are grill cooked (no skimping on the grease) and made when you order so there's a slight wait but it'll get to you hot and fresh, wrapped in foil. It can be a sloppy burger but it's worth it. Know going in that their burgers cost a little more. Also, if you order the fries and Cajun seasoning is a good option, the regular size is more than enough for two and sometimes even three people. The fries go into a cup inside the bag and it's always overflowing. More than enough.

cheese burger with everything, only problem is the cost. I'd rather get a burrito.

That alone made me feel like the wait wasn't wasted. We tried a variety of tacos, and everything was solid. The spicy pork (which actually isn't that spicy) was super flavorful and easy to eat. I will highly recommend even if you don't handle spice well. The beef tongue was another standout, it is tender, rich, and really well done. Ordering can be a little confusing at first since you line up by meat and then pay separately, but once you figure it out, it's part of the experience. If you're in San Diego, this place is pretty much a must-try. I'd come back again just for these tacos.

How it works: you'll enter the business, grab a tray, go window to window collecting your choice of street style tacos. Once you're ready to eat, you'll purchase your final picks with the cashier. While this spot is affordable, it's not cheap. These tacos quickly add up and you could easily spend $20-30 a person depending on your hunger level. I tried a number of carne asada tacos, the cactus tacos, a tostada, quesadilla, and French fries. It's hard to choose a favorite since each item is so uniquely delicious.

TL,DR: Outstanding food, priced right, great service and great atmosphere…read more I had driven past this place a few times and the name always cracks me up, reminds me of Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber. My wife tricked me into going with her to Walmart to pick up some shit, so I got to pick the spot for lunch and this is what I picked. Got there about 2 PM on Good Friday and there were a few people there but nothing crazy. Got seated right away and ordered drinks, a Pacifico for me, Sprite for the wifey - got them right away. For food, I got a BBQ bacon cheeseburger with tots, wifey got a regular bacon cheeseburger with everything plus fries, and I was curious so I also got the $10 chocolate (fudge) shake. Shake was delivered first. Expectations were high, and I was not disappointed. The shake was served in the metal tin, made with loads of real ice cream, whipped cream, fudge, drizzle of chocolate syrup, and chocolate sprinkles. Honestly not sure what I was thinking when mixing beer with shake, in hindsight I wouldn't do that again... but it was one of the best shakes I've had in a long while. Burgers came out shortly afterwards. Wifey's was cooked perfectly medium, which is an unusual thing for most burger places these days; most of the time when I order a burger medium, it comes out medium well or well done. These were both perfectly medium. Both burgers came out with a generous amount of potato products, more than either of us could hope to stuff down our gullets in one sitting. The food was outstanding. The service was great. The music was too loud for the wife but it was the kind of music that is supposed to be played loud so no points off for that from me. A nice vibe overall. I'll definitely be back.

The chicken fingers were hot, juicy, and perfectly crispy, with that familiar seasoning that never misses. Simple menu, but they execute it well. No frills, no surprises--just consistent comfort food that hits when you need it. I'd absolutely come back when I'm looking for something quick, filling, and reliable.

We decided to dine inside, and the space felt very tight and packed. The line alone took a solid 7 minutes and 30 seconds. The older Filipina lady at the register definitely was not feeling very "jolly," probably because she was trying to take her break, but I didn't let that deter my opinion of this particular location. The tables both inside and outside were not very clean and definitely needed more attention, but it was also a very busy Saturday afternoon so it was somewhat understandable. One thing that got a little annoying was the napkin situation. One of the meal workers was super stingy handing them out. I had a family of three including myself, and I had to get up at least three separate times asking for napkins, only to get two each time. Luckily, another more experienced cashier eventually gave us the right amount. Still, not enough to make me lower my rating. The final kicker, and usually the thing that makes me drop stars, is the cost. A 12-piece bucket with five sides and pies is definitely expensive and not much to be "jolly" over. But honestly, most competitor fried chicken franchises are charging about the same nowadays. Overall, since my last visit, nothing has changed about how much my family enjoys dining in and ordering from this Jollibee location. My kids still absolutely love it, and that alone keeps us coming back.
