I went to Wienerschnitzel and honestly it was a solid quick stop they got that $6 deal with chili dogs and chili cheese fries, I upgraded to the all beef dogs for like $1.20 each and yeah totally worth it. The chili cheese dog, fries were loaded with chilli , no complaints. Drive-thru was fast, customer service was on point, and inside was actually really clean with plenty of parking. Pro tip :I always ask for my hot dog grilled extra so it gets that little char on it takes a bit longer but that flavor hits different. They got other deals too like the Sunday specials and a Chicago dog lemonade and other menu items for $2.50 which isn't bad at all, but this combo I got was the move. Wienerschnitzel always been a classic, if you haven't tried it at least once you should. Easy five stars for me my personal favorite also too is just a classic corn dog not many places. Can you purchase a corn dog now that tastes good? I still believe we are Wienerschnitzel it's one of the best corn dogs out there although I didn't have it this time. also, first time experiencing AI taking my order on drive-through. The dessert at Wienerschnitzel is surprisingly really good. They use Taste E Freeze which is a soft serve ice cream. I always get their dipped cones and the flavors change often. This month they had a blue raspberry dipped cone. I enjoyed this and my son always get oreo freezees. This is a soft serve cup mixed in with oreos. The Reeses freezee is my favorite one. read more

I have been coming to this wienerschnitzel location since I was in third grade. The service here has never changed it's always above and beyond not to mention how delicious the food is. If you're tired of breakfast burritos that cost between $12-$15, are the size of your forearm and leave you in a food coma the rest of the morning? I've left reviews before. But what else can I say. I eat there so much, most of the staff knows me. I'm on a fixed income they have the most affordable prices and best deals of any fast good restaurant. It's always filling. I always order two K-9's to take home to my dog. The 'Schnitz as I've called it just hasn't been the same. In 2010 they made what may have been the biggest mistake of their entire career. The Sea Dog. Not introducing it, but getting rid of it. The SeaDog was the backbone of the 'Schnitz. It was the tastiest, best item in the menu. It was big, fishy, and fit nicely between the buns, with a healthy amount of white sauce to go along with it. Getting rid of the SeaDog and assuming you're going to remain popular, is akin to assuming a TV personality (an especially dull one) would make a good leader in the political realm. Which I guess to say is one hell of an American trait, despite being Der Wienerschnitzel. Anyway. I still adore the Wiener. I'm a huge fan of it. I visit rarely, but when I'm looking for an especially cheap and filling meal, one that feels mildly illegal. Unfortunately the meat isn't quite the same. The girth isn't what it used to be. It doesn't cause me to flinch when I put it in my hands and prepare the bun for a feast. But that's okay, as I age, I recognize that I might do better with smaller meat. It's less painful on the gut, especially after I'm attempting to relax after an indulging experience. Look at the photo of the Junkyard Dog. It's tasty AF. The right amount of chilli and that nacho cheese. Aw yeah. Them fries, good crunch but you have to eat it while it's hot. Their drive thru service is super quick. Never a long line. Did I mention that The 'Schnitz is cheap AF? My only hope is what then the Del Taco shows up it doesn't drive them away. My life goal would be to campaign for the 'Schniz to bring back The SeaDog, but in the mean time, the Junkyard Dog will do just fine. First time going to this chain. Really happy with the overall quality and service. They were super friendly and while I was waiting brought out my bottles water. Genuinely happy to see you at the drive through. I order the Texas hot dog and it was really good. For the price I was expecting a small dog with so so toppings. What I got was a great dog with excellent snap, covered in toppings without making a mess. The onions were fresh and the bun was perfect. I don't eat fast food often but this is far superior to the run of the mill places like Burger King or MCDonalds. Great food, great service and superb value. read more

Went for BREAKFAST on Sunday morning. Yes they serve BREAKFAST everyday. It is like a secret in South Bay. The country breakfast was just fantastic and the service was great. Lily and Alicia really do a great job. Very friendly and Alicia is making the best BREAKFAST IN ALL SAN DIEGO. The price was $4.19 for the country breakfast and what a value. We utilized the drive-through and had two large orders to fill. The person who took our order was patient and professional. When we got out food the order was fresh and nothing was missing. This was a really neat hotdog joint but I'll tell you the most amazing part about it. My wife doesn't eat fast food she's vegetables she's real chicken. Nothing processed she's pretty she's pretty healthy. She had me go through that line twice but since we haven't been up fast food joint in like two years, but it was the middle of the night out of town Was just a beast so we pulled into this place and we were going to decide where to eat. I wanted to treat myself to a gourmet meal so I went to Wienersnitzel for their signature hot dogs. Bought the Junkyard Dog and the deluxe dog. Both very good hotdogs. Bought a cold drink to top of this excellent dinner. Can't go wrong eating these hotdogs. Nice location in Imperial beach. You can dine in here. Parking is plenty. The employees here treated me very kindly. Nice soda fountain to drink up. Only issue was the restroom could use extra care in cleaning. I came down here because I have a friend from up north who's come down here a few times and suggested this place. He said it's one of his favorite places when he's in town, so that's saying a lot if it's a top place for him and the family. He was right. This was a juicy and incredibly tasty burger. I'd say it's up there with Amboy in Chinatown (Los Angeles) or the newer Amboy spot at Haven City Marketplace in Covina. This place is a gem. Ordering can be a little misleading; hence minus one star. This is a food court setup, and there are menus for each restaurant in these individual stands that are placed on top of a snack wall. If you're going to order from Rey TJ Burgers, it'll be to the left of the main restaurant/register that's directly in front of you when you enter. The main line is Mexican (and seafood I believe?), so I was standing for a while until a lady realized I was holding the Rey TJ burger and called me over. Ordering was easy. Rey TJ's didn't have drinks, so I hard to order from the Mexican food line. The cucumber aqua fresca was AMAZING. Definitely one of the best experiences since I've had since I've moved to the San Diego area. I'm loving it here more and more. I've also had the opportunity to practice a lot of Spanish which I absolutely appreciate. The people here are amazing and much warmer than many of the parts of Los Angeles. Buen dia!

It's a food court with its own shared parking lot. When we went in there was a huge line to the door. As you go up the line, there are multiple menus placed to your left in which they have multiple different food options to choose from. Gave me anxiety as I felt rushed coming here for the first time. A line gathering up behind us, ppl in front of me, didn't want to be rude reaching over ppl to grab the menus. So just waited as we moved up to look at them. There's so many options it's overwhelming. Once we got to the front, we were trying to place our order only to find out we waited in line for nothing. The burger line was the empty line to the left which there's no signage or nothing to explain. We did order 1 adobada taco, a horchata, & a sprite. The girl forgot my sprite, told me to go order in the left line for burgers. So when I was placing our burger order, I asked for the sprite I never received. The cashier for burger spot said I have to go back into the other line to order that. Confusing af. Luckily it had 2 customers & not a line out the door like when we first arrived. I ordered the smoked brisket burger, my son the Russel cheeseburger, & my hubby the "burgers & fries." My son did not touch his burger, literally went to waste. My husband said his was ok. As for my brisket burger, I did not like mine at all. It was super salty. It came with a meat patty & CHUNKS of cubed brisket? When I got smoked brisket I assumed it would've been like a pulled pork texture. Quite the opposite. They were chunks of cubed meat. I didn't finish mine. We took everything to go & didn't eat the leftovers once home. We paid around $50 for some less than mediocre burgers that I could've done better at home. I liked that the food court had a self serve salsa bar with plenty of salsas, ingredients, etc. The presentation of the food was good! But the food just wasn't it for us. Probably would never return tbh. Also, when we were wrapping up - the server was hovering over us to finish so she could take the boards/fry basket back. Not like we're gonna steal them. Lol. But I get it, maybe previous patrons have put them near the trash or thrown them away. As the burger place may be its own individual business aside from the food court.
