The "little" burgers and "little" fries are more than enough to fill you up if you aren't a huge eater. A regular burger comes with 2 patties and the little burger come with one. Love the ability to choose the toppings (nothing too fancy for options, but enough to make this place stand out) and free peanuts! This location is hit and miss with cleanliness. It is pretty busy, but they aren't the most consistent with cleaning up quickly once a table leaves. read more

I ordered online. You pay in advance and the website shows you when your food will be ready for pickup. I just went to the restaurant and they cooked the fries when I arrived. My meal, the bacon cheeseburger with Cajun fries, was incredibly filling. All in all, my food came out to be around $10 and it was a very delicious meal. I got here early enough to avoid the bulk of the lines and wait and bad parking. Overall, this is a great place to get burgers and fries quick. I ordered a cheeseburger with mayo , tomato, grilled mushrooms, pickles ,onions and jalapeños very disappointed my patty seemed like there was half on a another patty on top guessing they gave me mistake patty's sad. The comparison to In N Out is always there but really it's a different burger. I like the double patty and the fact that you can get a ton of differnt combinatorics for the toppings. However I just went straight BBQ sauce on my bacon cheeseburger. That really hit the spot. I would go to say that their burger seems a bit leaner but no less tasty. I just stopped with my wife an got a cheese burger n one without cheese along with fries to take home. Customer service was good, but that was all that we can both say that was any good. Burgers had a stale smell, jalapeños on burger definitely not fresh and the fries were so greasy the grease was seeping through the bag. It's good but I still prefer In 'n Out. Although the fries at 5 Guys are better... i like how its crispy but yet soft on the inside. The BF wanted to try the Cajun fries, but I didn't so we compromised with the cajun spices on the side... the cajun spice is just ehhh. Oh, I was disappointed with the grilled onions because it was mushy :( which made my burger bun soggy :( I do like this location of 5 Guys because its new and has a nice outdoor seating area. I have been wanting to try this place out ever since I saw one open up in California. The experience was underwhelming. :\ I heart In-N-Out and as the old saying goes, "If it ain't broke, why fix it?" should have applied in this case. I learned my lesson from deviating away from In-N-Out. The interior and even the freaking outfits look like a twilight version of In-N-Out. If you were to draw a strategic map, the two places would end up about a quarter inch away. Clearly, they are trying to play in the same zone. I was extremely put off by how soggy the bread was. I think that did it for me. Honestly, I'm a huge texture person and soggy bread is gross. There's no combo meals so it ends up being more expensive. 1 star for cajun fries and 1 star for jalapeno peppers and 1 star for the killer location (right next to work). All in all this place is like In-N-Out's ugly wicked stepsister. read more

Just like all the rest of the Five Guys, but the burgers come out even faster. Nice amount of outdoor seating, more close by than Sunnyvale. I needed to plug in and a staff person was nice enough to help. I would have found it anyway, but little things like that are nice. Extra star for the nice service and attitude... even better than Sunnyvale... and they're really nice over there too. I still wish they would not cook the burgers so much tho.. which is why I'll prob never give em a 5th star... cuz I'd like juicier burgers. I usually go to the one on el camino in sunnyvale. thought i'd give this location a shot since it's so much closer to me. maybe because they were low staffed or being blind. there was a line forming and one lady at the cashier trying to take a lady's order which took about 10 mins waiting time until someone decides to open up another register. the couple in front of us were literally next to the lady. i ordered my little burger with no pickles, no mustard, grilled japaenos, and bbq sauce. my bf got the veggie burger with 'everything'. and we got reg. cajun fries with a soda. almost $13. i get my burger... PICKLES! OH MY GOD. i HATE pickles. in fact, i felt like they were trying to piss me off by adding EXTRA PICKLES. (there were like 7 pickles in my burger) i actually thought i forgot to say "no pickles", i checked my reciept. 5 guys burgers and fries as well as in and out burgers are the only burger joints in the USA that don't make you feel like you just swallowed poison after you've left. i am not the kind of customer who throws tantrums when i have to wait in line. know what, it's busy, people have to wait in line! don't be foolish. what counts is great customer service and employees that look and act like they're treated well. the burgers are excellent. they don't pretend to be diet food or health food which is really great. I don't necessarily advocate eating this 5 days a week but if you are going to eat a burger, eat a good burger. And it's the fries that kill you every time! Just like in and out you can go inside here and see people eating and not feel like they escaped from a nuclear power plant explosion. It's a really cute place for teenagers to hang out at... it is all around great vibes. they don't try to pretend to be something they are not either. i think the founders of this place are opening up an organic burger version and it's even hitting places like florida where concern for citizens does not happen and strip food malls rule with an iron fist. definitely recommend this place! if you are getting a burger, get a burger. don't get a weight watchers burger, don't get a low fat version. keep your portion size small, avoid the fries too much or split it with your boyfriend but tget a real burger. they rule read more

Five Guys is okay. Depending on what you add to your order, your burger or hot dog can get kind of soggy or fall apart when attempting to consume it. The bread buns are kind of wimpy, but the meat patties are tasty, and you just can't beat the cajun fries. I do like to go here for the bacon hot dogs, though. Last time, they completely forgot my bacon, so when I brought it back, they were happy to rectify that by giving me a sizable fist full of bacon. :) Parking on the First St. plaza is terrible during lunchtimes, so go early if you want to eat here for lunch. read more

It was not what I expected. Heard it's a great place but I guess my expectations were high. The burgers were tasty and definitely fresh, soft and alright tasting. The fries were too soggy for me. One thing I noticed was people eating peanuts, not sure where it came from, but I don't recall seeing it on the menu board. We told the cashier w were new and she described the two types of burgers (single or double) and mentioned toppings were free but no offering if they were free. But kinda little pricey, but expected of a trendy franchised burger joint. We had 1 single, 1 double, 1 soggy fries, 1 bacon dog and 1 large soda and it was about $22 something. First impression was the cleanliness of the restaurant but wouldn't run there if I had a burger craving but would bring curiosity seekers to try them. read more

My 100th review AND first time to Five Guys! For all of the hype, I can't say I was too impressed. I ordered the little bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms and BBQ sauce. The mushrooms were kind of sour, which was a huge turn-off, and the burger itself was about average. the fries were also a bit of a disappointment, because there were really soft. I wouldn't say "soggy", per say, but they definitely felt over-boiled. Regardless, I'd highly suggest eating your burger with fried inside. I have heard a lot of friends raving about 5 guys when it finally showed up here. There was even my friend's coworker who came back from lunch, saying, "I just had five guys and it was so good." before my friend realized it was a burger joint. So I finally tried it for dinner when this one opened near my place. First of all, let me say that what they call regular and what they call little burgers were confusing. After I ordered, I realized that the little burger was what would have qualified at regular elsewhere. The regular was really double and a lot of food for me. Plus there were all on the pricier side for a fast food burger. Then the buns were larger than average, so the ratio of meat to bun was not optimal for a little burger. I would not deny the burger was pretty tasty, on par with in-n-out. I definitely like the fact there were so many toppings to choose from. The grilled mushrooms and onion definitely won me over on that front. There is no combo and no option of one person worth of fries. A regular serving of fries need to be shared with at least one other (hungry) person. I was not a big fan of peanuts so that aspect didn't do much for me. read more

I most definitely prefer this to In-And-Out Burger, since every single time I have ever eaten there I get intestinal cramps. I've tried In-And-Out five times, at various locations, and it happens every time. No such problem here, and I can get bacon on my burger at Five Guys, too. The burgers here taste great. I ordered a small, since the regular is actually a double patty. A small order of fries fed 2 people with loads to spare -- I won't order them if it's just me since so much would go to waste. I love salted peanuts, so the free peanuts were a treat. The bun on the burgers does end up being wrinkly, but it tastes just fine so who cares. read more

I love that you have the option to pick anything you want on the burger. The guy was extremely nice suggesting what to try first since it was my first time. The Cajun fries were delicious too. my 1st two visits... the burger or dog and toppings were fresh but they lacked major flavor. This time the jalapeños taste like jalapeños, the mushrooms tasted like mushrooms, but my bacon....it had no taste at all!!~ y...because their was none in my bacon cheeseburger!!~ I was oh so sad by the time I got back to the office, sad down, got all cozy, took my 1st bite while watching 30 rock...just to discover the lack of my favorite meat. the Cajun fries were better than last time, but still could use some flavor help. They have a lil kick of salty spice to them but they still taste like a regular fry to me. HOWEVER, the plus to the order of fries...they always pile in like an extra serving and then some.
