Great food and atmosphere Everything was pretty perfect I would definitely come back and they even gave us a nice birthday dessert

Great service, waiter had high energy. Outdoor ambiance is cute. Went for a late Father's Day dinner. We got the platter to try a bunch of things but out of the platter I DEFINITELY recommend the lamb chops and the truffle fries. Would go again, it was good quality food and fun.

We came here to celebrate my son's 7th birthday. We had a lovely time, especially our server, Jasmin was great. Great attention to detail, and asked questions that helped make our dinner special. The food was good, especially the beet salad for me really stood out. I love beet salads and the ones with no frill, so I asked to take the cheese and dill out. I heard the other salads were as great so am excited to come the next time! But the no corkage fee and really fair pricing on their wine is really appreciated and almost unimaginable. The bday boy loved his entree of butter noodles and ordered it twice. He also finished a side of chicken tenders. He thought they were so good and saved one piece for his sleeping sister (the next day she asked for seconds!) Ambiance is suitable for a date night and the fancy Saratoga downtown. But I didn't feel too out of place with two kids either. Overall, great experience!

We celebrated a birthday here and had such a good experience that I'm already planning to come back. From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and making a reservation about a month in advance definitely paid off since the restaurant was packed. For starters, we ordered the fried chicken & cornbread and the summer peach salad. The chicken and cornbread were easily a 10/10 super crispy, well seasoned, and the cornbread was rich and buttery. The peach salad with friend goat cheese (YUM!) was really fresh and bright, a nice lighter dish to balance out everything else. I also had a glass of rose. For mains, we had the Prime Ribeye and the 7oz Harris Ranch Prime Filet, both cooked exactly how we asked and full of flavor. We shared a bottle of Duckhorn cab, and I appreciated that their wine list felt reasonably priced for the quality. We corked what we didn't finished and took it home. The only slight downside was our table being in a bit of a funky spot along a walkway, but service was attentive enough that it never really became a problem. Overall, I'd absolutely come back, and next time I'm saving room for dessert.

We came here for our anniversary dinner and the staff were so sweet, they brought us over a Happy Anniversary card and dessert. We got the heirloom tomato appetizer and a bottle of wine. The bottle of wine was reasonably priced for a restaurant and we saw they didn't have corkage on bottles. The steak was cooked to perfection and we finished everything. We tried both the scalloped potatoes and mashed potatoes. At the end they brought us over a dessert which was a scoop of ice cream and caramel corn on top. The restaurant was packed on a Friday night but sitting outside didn't feel loud or busy. Would definitely return!

I took my partner out for our anniversary to Hero Ranch Kitchen and made reservations with OpenTable with a note about it being our special day. The restaurant had a nice visual ambience, but also felt casual as there was a lot of chatter, which isn't a bad thing depending on what you're looking for. Our waiter was especially friendly and helped us decide what to order. I really wish I could remember his name, as I'm posting this a bit late, but he was a huge reason why we had a great experience! Here's a quick rating on the food itself: Stuffed mushrooms (3.5/5): This was recommended by the waiter as a favorite among patrons. The mushrooms weren't bad or anything, but for some reason, it gave me combination pizza vibes that I wasn't expecting. It was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order it again personally. Bone-in ribeye (5/5): an amazing cut that was cooked perfectly. Exactly what you would expect from a good steakhouse. The compound butter was fantastic! Bone-in apricot glazed pork chop (3.5/5): this one may hit different for different folks. The pork was perfectly cooked and juicy, but the apricot glaze was definitely a little too sweet for our palettes. If you're looking for something more savory, I might try something else. But hey, sweet might be your thing too! Caramel popcorn sundae (4.5/5): we got this one complimentary for being our special day, which was a really nice surprise! And it was a full serving! This one was obviously sweet, but surprisingly more subdued than it sounds, which was really nice! Overall, it was truly a memorable night with great food. And though some things didn't quite work for our palettes, I can totally see that it may for others--so that didn't impact my ratings because they were still good--just not for us. That said, the care that we received on our anniversary was what truly made me land on a 5/5 rating. Definitely coming back for future special occasions!

The ambiance feels upscale but still comfortable. Service was excellent from start to finish and the tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly with tons of flavor. Great place for a nice dinner or special occasion.

Hamachi capacio was in a pool of sauce. Way too much trufle. Really bad. Corn was good. Lobster special was rubbery. Disappointing. Pork chop was good, but sauce way too sweet. Side of scalloped potatoes had raw potatoes. Sent it back. Two cocktails were good. Overall so disappointed. Expectations were super high and it just didnt hit.

My first time here tonight. What an amazing place. The service was great, the ambiance was great (wonderful outdoor area). I was blown away by the food and presentation. TOP NOTCH. I had the sea bass, the others had ENORMOUS burgers, ribs, PORK CHOP (wow). It's definitely a higher end price point but you can see why.

The food, service, and ambience are top-notch recommend We tried the branzino and the Harris Ranch filet both were perfect. The wedge salad and the lamb chops were so good, and for dessert, we tried their bread pudding; so yummy

This is one of my very favorite new American restaurants! Ever since going I've told countless people about it and will definitely be returning. Loved this restaurant because everything was done to perfection and had multiple homemade parts. We tried the pork chops with the homemade tzatziki and that was fantastic!! Would 10/10 order again. Another huge hit was the bacon cornbread bites. Something you really can't recreate at home better than this and highly recommend. We also got the Braised Short Rib Pappardelle. We ate every bite and it was delicious, but if I were to go again I might swap this out for something else. Lastly, if you're there when they have their seasonal peach salad, that was a must get for me. The fried goat cheese on top was truly divine. The service was exceptional. We had a fabulous, very attentive and kind waitress. The ambiance was nice. We were seated out on the patio and it was charming and cozy, quiet enough for it to still feel like a romantic date night. I will for sure be back. Love the experience we got here from start to finish.

First off, Saratoga is a wealthy area and you can clearly see it when you walk down the street. Most of the restaurants in the area are high end. We got to Flowers and were seated off to the side. Our waiter was super friendly and made us feel welcome. Oh and make a reservation for this place because the place was packed. We went straight to the mains and drinks. I got the squid ink pasta and my husband got the chicken. Both were delicious. The pasta had a kick to it which I loved and the squid ink wasn't too overpowering. For cocktails I got Kiss The Bubble which comes with the smoke bubble on the top. Unfortunately right before i was about to pop it myself, i shifted the glass and it ruptured on it's own. Oh well. After that drink I got Hummingbird, which comes with cotton candy on top. But the cotton candy has a different texture and taste than the normal carnival cotton candy. It's not as sweet. Lastly, we got an anniversary dessert on the house which were strawberry creme filled petite tarts, and we also got the chocolate cake. I definitely recommend trying this place. The food is good, service is great, and the drinks are the best.

The decor is nice and modern and clean, and the food was simply amazing! We started off with the rare tuna tacos that were delicious as well as the salmon sashimi hors d'oeuvres that a friend and I shared. I ordered the miso cod which was rich, but not too rich over a bed of forbidden rice and spinach. I shared with my friend, the salmon that was equally as delicious. I could not choose which one I liked more. I do have to say kudos to Amanda our server was probably the most attentive and best server I've had in a very long time. I will definitely come back, Please note that this was on a Wednesday at 6 PM and there were probably 10 other people in the restaurant. It is not very large and pretty quiet. Parking was on the street or there are some public spots tucked away off the main street. I did not see any electric charging stations nearby, but there are some shaded spots from the trees in some of the parking areas. I look forward to coming again to this restaurant for any special occasion. Great for groups or romantic evening.

It's tucked behind the buildings just off Saratoga's main strip. Trust Google Maps, head to the rear parking lot, and follow the sign through the alley to the restaurant. Dinner is prix fixe only -- $93 as of August 2026. We mentioned that we had plans afterward and just wanted a lighter dinner and some wine, and they were incredibly gracious about letting us split one prix fixe. Honestly, the portions still felt very generous, and we ended up spending about the same amount on wine anyway. The wine list is small but really thoughtfully curated, and they also allow you to bring your own bottle for a corkage fee. The standout for me was the Hokkaido scallop with crab and caramelized carrot. Genuinely one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. A couple of dishes were liberal with the finishing salt, but the flavors, seasoning, creativity, and technique were top tier. Everything is cooked to order by the chef, and it showed -- every course came out beautifully prepared and cooked to perfection. The whole place feels like a passion project. The chef has spent decades in the industry, including time in Shanghai and Hawaii, and it feels like he and his wife basically said, "This is what we do, this is the food we love -- let's make a place for it." And I love that. There are some rough edges that come with making the space work for them, but the things that actually matter -- food, service, organization, and cleanliness -- were excellent. Even the single restroom was very clean and well kept. It's a small, intimate space, so I definitely recommend making a reservation. That said, they seemed genuinely accommodating to everyone who came through and clearly care about making people feel welcome. More than anything, the restaurant just felt happy. Everyone around us was having a great time, people were ordering liberally from the wine list, and by the time we left around 7, it felt like a room full of people who understood exactly what this place is about. GOGA isn't trying to win you over with a bunch of empty promises and trendy decor. It's about really good food, wine, and hospitality from people who clearly care about what they're doing. I'd love to see the space evolve over time, but never at the expense of the food or the wonderfully unique experience they've created. We'll absolutely be back -- brunch is next.

Rent must be up there as it's not a bargain restaurant but the quality is very good. Let's start with pricing, $95 plus tax and a 3% charge for credit cards, with wine you're going to be at $125 pp. Dinner is a Prix Fixe thing and they don't have alternate choices on every entree. They had crab covered scallop for the appetizer and my wife is allergic shellfish so the chef made a wonderful rare Ahi Tuna appetizer with a miso flare, but this was a special request. The interior isn't anything special and we went when the air conditioning wasn't working very well so it was hot and humid in the restaurant. There was only one server that night and the main chef, but only four tables were being served. Wondering how it would be when they have 8-10 tables going at the same time. Here's how the food rates: Ahi Tuna Appetizer: A Crab covered Scallops: A+ This was a standout dish Fish Taco: C+ nothing special here but fried fish in a tortilla Wagyu Flank Steak: B Nice Flavor, but not a premium cut Tiramisu w/rasberries: B+ I know this would be difficult given the rent in downtown Saratoga, but a prix fixe at $75 would be more appropriate for this level of food. I am looking forward to trying their weekend brunch as that venue allows you to choose from a brunch and lunch menu.

Ordered: 1) Garlic Bread: 5/5 - Tasted super fresh and garlicky without too much cheese, exactly the way I like it. 2) Walnut Pesto Linguine: 2/5 - It sounded super interesting, so I ordered it. First of all, the dish didn't look appealing at all. I get that it's called walnut pesto, but there were way too many walnuts. As for the pasta itself, it tasted very bland, not flavorful at all. My friend and I ordered the same dish and we both felt the same way, couldn't get past 2 spoonfuls. 3) Pasta Primavera (white wine cream sauced swapped for pink sauced - red and white combined): 5/5 - ordered this for my 5 year old, and omg it was amazing and full of flavor. 4) Burrata Pizza: 5/5 - A very interesting combination of toppings. They should have warmed it before serving it with the gelato. The taste was good though. Definitely coming back, but I would stick to ordering pizza or the pasta primavera next time. The pizza, bread, etc. were super fresh, and you could feel that in every bite. The ambiance is awesome, you could come here for special occasions with friends and family. Our server was very attentive, gave us good recommendations, and was super nice to us.

We shared the king trumpet mushroom appetizer, arrabiata pasta, and the Argentine steak, which was the perfect amount of food. Everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious. The appetizer surprised me the most with its uniqueness. The mushroom stems were cut paper thin and had the slightest essence of smokiness. Loved the chickpea puree. The Argentine steak was perfectly medium rare, and the meat itself was so tender. The fries were excellent. The fries were made the way I love them - light, airy, and crispy. Addictive and hard to resist. Lastly, the arrabiata pasta was solid. I did think the pasta was cooked 30 seconds too long, but the sauce really made up for the dish. The arbol chili and fresh garlic packed on some heat. We look forward to coming back for the steak and to try the mushroom rigatoni that everyone raves about!

The squash blossoms stole the show, with tender, cheese-filled blossoms, a lovely sauce, and grilled zucchini. The Iberico ham was on point, and the olive oil accompanying our baguette was top notch. Entrees were very good. Two of us had the exotic mushroom pasta, and it was outstanding. Al dente pasta, rich sauce, and plenty of mushrooms. Two of us had the halibut special with white wine risotto and red pepper coulis. The risotto was impeccable and the coulis sharp and creamy. Sadly the fish was overcooked for both of us. We would have sent it back, but no one checked to see how we were enjoying the entrees. The Argentinian steak and chimichurri was quite good. The two desserts we tried (panna cotta and cheesecake) were satisfying, but portions a bit small. Wine list was well-curated and cocktails all delicious. Overall, a lovely dinner.

It is the best steakhouse in this area…read more Came here last night after seeing The Sound of Music at Broadway San Jose, celebrating a new job and life in general. We did not hold back. The Westholme Wagyu was the showstopper -- that filet with the au gratin potatoes and cremini mushrooms is worth every penny of the occasion you invent to justify it. The Steak Diane was right there with it; the brandy-mushroom cream sauce is the kind of thing you keep going back to with a spoon after the steak is gone. Mongolian Beef was excellent too -- the shaved filet with the garlic chips and slaw had a nice bit of brightness against everything else. And the lobster mac and cheese. I don't need to explain the lobster mac and cheese. Then we ordered four desserts. Yes, four. For two people. The chocolate decadence, the butter cake, the gluten-free torte, and an affogato. No regrets. The butter cake with the strawberries was my favorite, but I was outvoted at least once. Our server JP was fantastic -- attentive, warm, made the whole night feel like an event without ever hovering. Genuinely made the evening. Perfect place for a celebration. We'll be back the next time life gives us an excuse.

Dude this was actually one of the biggest scams I've ever willingly participated in My best friend…read moreand I did the 8-course seasonal chef menu and I genuinely don't know what was going on back there. Almost everything was painfully mid, EXCEPT the Parmesan soufflé with caviar. That shit was DIVINE. She did nothing wrong and I will not be including her in this slander. Now onto the rest. We paid $825 for two people with two drinks each, and for that price I was expecting to be treated like a minor member of the royal family. Instead, the service was genuinely mid. I've done multiple Michelin dining experiences before and I have NEVER had crumbs sitting on the table for basically the entire THREE HOUR meal Like babe at this price point I shouldn't even be aware that crumbs exist. The pacing was also insane. We were constantly sitting around waiting for the next course, and at one point waited almost 40 minutes. FORTY. I had enough time to reflect on my life, my financial decisions, and why I chose to spend $825 on this experience. And just to really put a bow on the evening, I came home feeling literally nauseous and was gifted a long, intimate night with my toilet. So not only did I get robbed, I apparently got an afterparty too. Parmesan soufflé with caviar: 10/10, gorgeous, perfect, no notes. The rest of the experience: I would like my $825 and three hours back.
