    Bacon Cheeseburger: All the way
    Damien K.

Five Guys to me started the realization you can get a fast food consistency but with a better quality burger. Your are going to be waiting longer than a drive through, but you watch it made in front of you and the process you can tell is not just something nuked and slapped together. I am always a bigger fan of the fries than the burgers though. The bun usually gets crushed, and with so many other quality burger joints chaining out now, I usually don't look to Five Guys as my first choice. I will say I do like their fries more than most other places, but the side is never the reason I show up to a place in the first place. As Five Guys goes this location is decent. Mid size location and adequite seating but can become standing room only on a busy day easily. Fair amount of people were there the day I stopped in, but my meal was no more memorable than other times I've been to Five Guys.

Sometimes when I'm craving a burger I come to this location and it's sooo satisfying! The food is always fresh and ready quickly and the employees are friendly ! my orders have always been correct and when I order through the app they always make sure to make the fries fresh when I arrive. So sweet thank you (:

I finally got the the chance to check this place out for myself. (heard mixed reviews) I ordered a Little Bacon cheeseburger with everything on it. It tasted FRESH, a better choice than a burger from McD or BK but other than that nothing special. We got our burgers in about 5-7 min- they have free peanuts to snack on and you can even watch them prep burgers while you wait. I think next time ill pass on the everything toppings and opt for only a few things - all the toppings on the burger made it way too busy and it took away frm the burger patty. Cajun style Fries: We ordered a regular for $2.99 and got a heaping portion in a brown bag, way more than enough for 2, could prob feed 4! Yes, Five Guys we love our fries greasy but i'd enjoy your fries a lot more if I didn't have to see the oil seeping thru the brown bag. But hey it's cooked in peanut oil, no cholesterol, makes it better right? lol Burger, fries & a drink - $10. Would return but not anytime soon. If you enjoy old fashioned burgers and hand cut fries, this would be the place for you!

I don't mind having to get out of the car to get my food because it's well worth it, unless of course you are allergic to the couple of hundred pounds of peanuts that greet you when you walk in. Amazingly consist ant no matter which franchise I have visited. It's a fairly simple menu, burgers, cheese burgers and bacon cheeseburgers, small (one patty) or large (two patties). OK, yo can get a grilled cheese or hot dogs, but that's not why I visit. The french fries are huge. No matter what size you order, you can bet there will be a ton more in the bag then what fits in the cup. Today was great, got there around one. No wait to order, which cut down on my wait for my order. That's right, they don't cook your burger till you order. This may turn into my go to over the Worcester location.

Pretty good for the price! Fast services, free peanuts, and two postmodern soda machines.

One of their food trucks was at the Framingham Farmers Market this past Thursday. There was a wide variety of food available that evening, but for some reason, the Trolley Dogs food truck called out to me. As their signs say, they serve giant, handmade dogs. They're so big they have to use a mini sub roll, instead of a hotdog bun. You can order your dog as you like, or select from their menu of pre-planned dogs. I forget what it was called, but I ordered from the menu. My dog was topped with onion, relish, and hot mustard. It was super hot and humid on this day and I felt bad for the food truck workers. It must've been like an oven in there. The dog was so awesome I made my way back to the food truck afterwards to tell them so. If you enjoy an occasional hotdog like me, and you happen to see one of the Trolley Dogs food trucks somewhere, you should check it out! I promise, you'll be glad you did. P. S. I did not have one myself, but one of my companions had one of their craft lemonades. He raved about that Trolley Dogs offering as well.

Finally made it to this Route 56 institution after hearing about it for years. Got two dogs: the…read moreclassic with their Famous BBQ sauce, and the "Everyting Plus" -- BBQ, onions, relish, and mustard. Both were exactly what a roadside hot dog should be -- simple, unfussy, and clearly built around that sauce as the star of the show. Here's the thing that surprised me, and honestly the reason I'm writing this review: I asked the folks working the counter about the sauce, and they told me it's actually a Korean BBQ sauce, and that the family running the place is Korean. Zero problem with that from me -- if anything it makes the sauce more interesting -- but I went back and read a stack of reviews here before my visit, and not a single one mentions this. Every review talks about the "sweet, molasses-y, nostalgic BBQ sauce that tastes like childhood," decades of regulars, the whole Americana roadside-stand thing -- but nobody's ever put two and two together on where that sauce actually comes from or who's actually making it. Kind of a funny blind spot for a place this well-loved and well-documented. It also sounds like there's real layered history here that nobody's nailed down publicly -- the current owner (also named Annie, no relation) has run it since 2005, but the name and building go back further, possibly to a different name and a different original "Annie" before that, with some sources pointing to WWII-era roots and others to the 1950s as "Silver Grill." Old signage on the building references press coverage from Yankee Magazine, the Boston Globe, and the Telegram & Gazette, so this place has clearly had its moment in the regional spotlight more than once. If anyone in the comments knows the fuller ownership history -- who ran it between the original Annie and the current one, when the Korean family took over, or how the sauce recipe evolved -- I'd genuinely love to hear it. This feels like a piece of Central Mass food history that's never been fully written down, and I'd love to help fill in the gaps. Bottom line: great dogs, better sauce, and a story that deserves more digging.
