I have called numerous times to get help with a coupon. The customer service rep just keeps repeating herself about the coupon and she just states it's out of date. Well, I called the date this happened and it's been almost 2 months and they haven't done a thing about it. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they don't give me a supervisor. The customer service rep was useless. They shouldn't offer coupons if they're not going to work on the app. And they should train their customer service reps to be helpful, not just keep repeating a prepared statement that doesn't help anyone. Five Guys to me started the realization you can get a fast food consistency but with a better quality burger. Your are going to be waiting longer than a drive through, but you watch it made in front of you and the process you can tell is not just something nuked and slapped together. I am always a bigger fan of the fries than the burgers though. The bun usually gets crushed, and with so many other quality burger joints chaining out now, I usually don't look to Five Guys as my first choice. I will say I do like their fries more than most other places, but the side is never the reason I show up to a place in the first place. As Five Guys goes this location is decent. Mid size location and adequite seating but can become standing room only on a busy day easily. We paid for our order and waited probably about 45 minutes for two burgers and one order of fries. There were 5 people working in the back, and barely anyone in the location. My son brought home burgers and fries tonight. First off, the burger was a disgusting mess. The bun was actually bent back over itself because it was not properly wrapped. The onions were chunks about a half an inch thick and were so many that the smell of them permeated the kitchen BEFORE the food was plated. The bun does not generally hold up well, the burger is nauseatingly greasy and the cheese is velveeta-esqe! Oh, the real shame about the management of the local place is that the person in charge of salting the fries must own stock in the Diamond Salt Company. I finally got the the chance to check this place out for myself. (heard mixed reviews) I ordered a Little Bacon cheeseburger with everything on it. It tasted FRESH, a better choice than a burger from McD or BK but other than that nothing special. We got our burgers in about 5-7 min- they have free peanuts to snack on and you can even watch them prep burgers while you wait. I think next time ill pass on the everything toppings and opt for only a few things - all the toppings on the burger made it way too busy and it took away frm the burger patty. I don't mind having to get out of the car to get my food because it's well worth it, unless of course you are allergic to the couple of hundred pounds of peanuts that greet you when you walk in. Amazingly consist ant no matter which franchise I have visited. It's a fairly simple menu, burgers, cheese burgers and bacon cheeseburgers, small (one patty) or large (two patties). OK, yo can get a grilled cheese or hot dogs, but that's not why I visit. The french fries are huge. No matter what size you order, you can bet there will be a ton more in the bag then what fits in the cup. Today was great, got there around one. To keep it simple and to the point... 5 Guys is the best CHAIN food establishment/franchise that you can get a quality burger outside that of your own summer backyard BBQ. I always think about eating 5 Guys for hours and arrive drooling and with eyes bigger than the stomach. Every. Time. Resulting in a regular burger order instead of the single.. a shake and large fries. It should be noted that a large fry could satisfy yours and a friends starch craving and have left overs! Yes they are greasy AF but that's because of the natural peanut oil used, it has to be applied liberally! And it is quite a unique taste with the malt vinegar. MM! I don't know why but you just have to have it WITH the burger and then its the full experience. I literally do not eat American Cheese, nope not even a grilled cheese - my only exception? Have been eating here probably 15 times over last 5 years but not much lately.  Burgers are tasty and you can load up with toppings at no extra charge.  Quality is good but cost is a bit pricey.  $8.50 for a Regular burger which is a double burger.  They also have a Little burger which is their single burger at $5.50 ish (not sure of exact price). My main issue was the cost of the fries.  I ordered the Regular size which is their medium for $4.99.   What I received was a 10oz cup of fries...meaning not very much for 5 bucks.  Fries are good (bit salty as others have said). They use to over fill the cup into the bag regardless of size so either they forgot or have stopped doing it. The larger size for $6.50 is quite a bit more fries than the medium. As far as fast food burger chains are concerned, my opinion is that 5 guys blows the competition out of the water by offering great value in the way that Chipotle does for fast Mexican. For 5 dollars I would be hard pressed to find such a generous portion of scrumptious burger anywhere else. With this in mind it is important to remember that this is a chain and not a fine dinning experience. If you are looking for a purely sit down meal and want to spend a few extra dollars I would recommend you go somewhere on Shrewsberry st. Although the menu is limited primarily to burgers and fries, and if you are vegetarian or looking for other food options you will have to get creative, what is offered on the menu is very good. Pioneering in the emerging market of fast casual dinning, 5 Guys can get you in and out of the door in a matter of minutes if you are in a hurry, but will make you feel comfortable if you wish to stay. My experience with the music and atmosphere has been very positive. The songs they play are on commercial free radio and the variety is quite good and fun to listen to. As a testament to the quality and freshness of their food, the fries and burgers are made in front of your eyes and comes out hot every time. If you are at all like me and are a fan of toppings, a wide and delicious variety is offered at no extra charge (this is where the value comes from). Furthermore the cashiers are quite friendly and you can get free refills so always order a small drink if you are staying to eat your food. Important notes: the Cajun fries can be overwhelming, therefore ask for the spices on the side if you order them so you can regulate how much you put on them. P.S. This has been one of my most frequented spots since I moved to Worcester for the past year. I've never been a big fan of burgers until UBurger in Boston. After trying Five Guys, I decided that it's pretty good and decided to come back now and again. Although I still prefer UBurger. The junior burger is enough to fill me, but order the double if you're a big eater. It's tasty enough that you'll finish the whole burger before knowing it. I like that you can load as much toppings on as you want without any extra charge (UBurger does charge for most toppings). The fries are good and they always give you an extra scoop or 2 so no need to order a large fries unless you have 3 other people to help you gobble it down. Go enjoy your burger! read more

I finally gave in to all the hype and tried out Five Guys. I expected to be transcended to another world given all of the raving reviews, but honestly...it was meh. The burger was fresh, juicy; but very messy to eat. I hate eating hunched over my plate in hopes of not messing myself. Taste was on point, I must say. The fries were underwhelming. Too soft, soggy. If you like them like that great...I prefer crispy fries. I considered dropping by McDonald's on the way home for a replacement order of fries. The customer service was very good. Very good burgers done fast. While I'm not a fan of their fries, everyone else I know swears by them, so I'm chalking that up to personal preference. You walk in, grab a bit of peanuts (be careful anyone with nut allergies, this place is hell for you), and order your meal. They have burgers, burgers with cheese, other burgers, and if you don't eat red meat they have a burger without the burger (imagine a burger with all the toppings like peppers, etc just without the burger). Basically, if you're a vegetarian, there's really nothing here for you. You can get fries, but as I said I'm not as much of a fan as everyone else so i can't really speak to that. Generally after ordering, it's about 5 minutes before the meal is ready, and you can either eat there or skedaddle. One thing I really like about this place is that all the toppings are 'free.' I say this because even though the burgers are expensive, you don't feel nickle and dimed whenever you add a topping to your burger. As I said however you are already paying for them up front, but it makes you feel nice. If you aren't already aware, this is not the place to go while on a diet. I shudder to think of how many calories the burgers and fries are, but I find it to be a nice treat when I'm not worrying about calorie-counting, and just want a delicious, greasy burger with some quality ingredients come by Five Guys. read more

This particular location is really consistent. I went in with a group of seven and I was totally satisfied with the quality of my food and the speed at which it was served. Despite the name, there are a surprising number of options on the menu. I stuck with my favorite, the "little" cheeseburger (which means that it only has one patty instead of two) with "everything" (which is a combination of toppings listed on the menu board. Because of this, it was a big burger despite it's one patty). I also got "little" fries (which is a small order), which was more than enough food for me. Five guys is definitely my favorite chain burger place. Freshly made burger with my choice of toppings and the absolute best fries. Not to mention they have malt vinegar which is the best on fries. Their burgers are big and their fries are over portioned. I mean they not only put the size cup of fries you want in the bag but they also pour an extra scoop in the bag.
