The worst burger type food I've ever had. Cheeseburgers were nearly inedible, cajun fries were downright nasty (so coated with seasoning I think the lid came off the shaker), regular fries were cold (delivered quickly). Shakes are better elsewhere. We could've spent at least $20 less on the entire order elsewhere and actually been able to eat the food we paid for. Yum! We love this place, burgers are cooked fresh to order and fries are too, and they pile on the fries. Have been here many times and the food is always good, they are consistent! As a glutard my options at fast food restaurants is very limited but Five Guys was great! I had never had vinegar with my fries before but since it was an option I gave it a try and WOW! Yum! The fries were great on their own as well. I had a hot dog that was good as far as normal hot dogs go. Everything seemed so much fresher that expected from a fast food joint. Delish! Loved the options, the toppings, the taste, the peanuts, the fries that fill the cup and the bag. My little one was really getting into the music, apparently he really likes classic rock (that for him is probably ancient rock). Horrible experience on UBEREATS and the resulting delivered product. $14 for a single bacon cheese burger.... lettuce wrapped. Burger was so small about the size of a small flatten out meatball and cooked to a hockey puck consistency. Fries were gross... too much seasoning to cover up the heavy stale oily grease taste. Basically paid for about the equivalent of 15 large heads of iceberg lettuce. Bacon was way way way thin cut.... like what you expect to get from your Mickey D bacon egg biscuit... although it's advertised as "3 thick cut slices". Zero tomatoe or pickle included....Totally gross food... save your money and order from Shari's ... way better experience and for much lower price. read more

I must have been past this place about 100 times, but I have never stopped. A few days ago we were all taking about getting a burger, and Five Guys came up. The place is pretty noisy, most of the noise comes from the speakers that blast 70's rock throughout the inside dining area as well as the patio. It's kind of loud inside, but I like that type of music, so it didn't bother me. They even have big bags of roasted peanuts for customers to much on while you wait for your order (which isn't very long). The menu is pretty basic, and decently priced for the amount of food you get. They have the usual burgers, dogs, and they also have grilled cheese, and a veggie sandwich. I ordered the double bacon cheese burger, which was excellent, and a large fry. I thought the fries could have been a little crispier, but they were still good. I also liked how they packaged the meal. All of your burgers are wrapped in foil, and the fries come in a large paper cup. It kind of gives you that old school burger joint feel. Their burgers are decent sized, and actually taste like beef. The next time I have that urge for a big burger, I'll definitely go back. read more

I really can't figure out what all the fuss is about. The fries are good but the burgers leave much to be desired in my opinion.

My wife and I eat here semi-regularly and have never had a bad experience. Sometimes the wait is a bit long, but the food has always been worth it. The food seems expensive, but is more filling. I've found that I spend about the same whether I go to Five Guys, Burgerville, Wendy's, etc. It just takes less food to fill me up at Five Guys. read more

There is absolutely nothing extraordinary about this place. I've had very similar food at Wendy's and the like. The fries were the best part of the meal, and even those were just okay. The place, was FILTHY! I'm just talking about the peanut shells all over the floor, while I think it's gross I can live with that. I'm talking about the chairs, tables, drink station and overall premises. The place was super slow, and the employees were just standing around chatting instead of cleaning. Ever wanted too just take a bite out of a fully grown hogs gut. That is what the five guys experience is about for me. The burgers are unreal and extremely good. Also they are generous with the fries that overflow into the bag, but the amount of fries used to be better. CELIAC'S DISEASE PATIENTS BEWARE!!!! Our daughter has Celiac's disease, we visited the Hazel Dell, Vancouver WA restaurant today. My daughter was very specific about how she wanted her burger and the dangers of cross contamination. The employee told her they understood and do it all the time. Well not this time, within an hour of eating she became very ill, diarrhea, pounding headache, bloated extended stomach, limbs that feel like they weigh a ton, scratchy throat, and extreme fatigue. These are just a few symptoms one can experience with this disease. I know there are a lot of restaurants and people out there that feel Celiac's is a joke and even a fad, I have heard this myself. But she will be ill for 48-72 hours and not feel normal for a week or more. Restaurant owners and their employees need to be educated if they say they have a gluten free menu. You need to hire or consult a dietitian to teach you what that means. There are 100's of thousands of people diagnosed with this disease today, and Restaurants like yours will loose a lot of business if they don't start learning about the dangers of gluten intolerance. We will never eat at another Five Guys again, which is such a shame because it is one of the only burger joints my daughter has been able to eat at up till now. read more

I used to enjoy 5 Guys until weeks ago when i encountered the worst food poisoning i've ever had. I eat at the new 5Guys in West Sac.. Had two single burgers with everything on them for lunch, first thing i ate that day.. At diner time i wasn't feeling really well. passed on diner and went to bed. Couple hours latter i was streaming both ends.. Really Bad.. Wife took me to emergency, They confirmed food poisoning gave me IV fluids and sent me home with some medicine. later the next day i had blood in stool and major stomach cramps,, back to the emergency.. they put me on IV antibiotics for several hours along with more iV fluids. Spent 12 hours there. Took me another day to recover and maybe another day to feel normal again. That was a BAD EXPERIENCE- as much as i like their burgers i'll never go back.. I've been eating In N out for 40 years and never been sic from them.. I'll stick with I N Out. read more
