I just want to commend the 4 person team working today. Amazing service!!! I have had recent experiences of going here and having terrible service, no one knows what they are doing and having to wait longer than necessary. The team today was working very efficiently and they deserve a compliment!!

We all stopped by for lunch after snow tubing at Nashoba Valley Tubing Park a few miles away. I mainly come here for the free salted peanuts! At 1:45 PM there weren't many people in the restaurant and there were plenty of parking spaces. My go-to is their bacon cheeseburger (double) or little bacon cheeseburger (single) depending on how many miles I plan to run to burn off the grease. The thing about Five Guys is...it's consistent. The west coast and east coast locations taste the same. They have a generous selection of free toppings which include: Mayo, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Grilled Onions, Grilled Mushrooms, Ketchup, Mustard, Relish, Onions, Jalapeño Peppers, Green Peppers, Bar-B-Que Sauce, Hot Sauce, and A1 Sauce. I'm not sure why, but the cheese is always either cold or lukewarm. It feels like the put the cheese on seconds before removing the burger from the grill so it doesn't have time to really melt. Presentation wise, the burgers always look like they are quickly thrown together. The hamburger buns are cold and not toasted. It goes back to what I wrote earlier about how this is consistent. I know what I'm getting. The burgers are darn good though especially with the amount of bacon and mushrooms they put in their burgers. They offer two vegetarian options: a Veggie sandwich with or without cheese and a grilled cheese. The veggie sandwich is basically a combination of half their toppings. The grilled cheese is actually just a hamburger bun cooked upside down with cheese. Their regular and cajun fries are always a treat. Freshly fried and served hot. They have a nice crisp to them. I only wish they offered ranch dressing to go with the fries. They have two of those big electronic soda machine where you have 100+ combinations to choose from. The restaurant was clean and well-kept.

    Undercooked food.

Just paid $6 for fries and the guy didn't even fill the cup and gave no extras. Very disappointing.

Tasty caloric burgers and dogs from a reliable chain. Although the Marlborough and Stoughton locations are better than this one.

Meh. It's a chain burger place. The staff are polite at this location, but the product is over priced and not as good as others I've had...

Five Guys is ok but way overpriced. There are better burgers at a better price point elsewhere.

As this is Latinx heritage month, seems like a perfect time to finally check them out. This is a tiny little store front. Most of the building is taken up by kitchen and storage. There are 2 two-tops and 1 four-top table for dining-in. Tables are very nice and the area was clean. An open kitchen over looks the dining area. A cashier stand, where you order, is to the left of the entrance. Menu boards are located on the wall above the open kitchen. A cooler across from the cashier holds bottled soda, water and tea. The cashier was super personable and answered a couple of silly questions from me. (I always have questions. So many questions!) I had to try the empanadas of course and they offer several varieties. My SO got himself a pepperoni pizza. We both grabbed bottled soda. We had an opportunity to chat a little with the cook too who is also very nice. A parton who is clearly known to the staff came in and had a long, friendly chat with staff while we ate. Just before we left some high school students came in. This is absolutely a neighborhood spot. The pastry on my empanada is very good. Flakey, thin, holds together well. I would have preferred less pastry for the amount of filling. Most bites were air. The ground beef was seasoned well enough but I think I was looking for more spice and maybe a little heat. Still, it was enjoyable. The vegetable empanada was bell peppers, onions and mushrooms with a little bit of cheese. Same result. I was looking for more filling, spice and heat. Don't get me wrong. They are good. I did enjoy them. And for all I know, this is the way abuela makes them. Everyone has their own preferences. This is just me. Take it as you will. My SO enjoyed his pizza. That's all I got from him. Sorry I can't elaborate. This is a small store front right off a neighborhood. On street parking is free. You may have to walk a bit from your parking spot, but as mentioned, this is really a neighborhood spot the locals frequent. There does not appear to be a public restroom inside. I didn't ask. Staff were lovely. Food is good.

Good roadside ice cream!…read more On my way back to NH, I decided to stop at Mike's Ice Cream Stand for dessert (after having brunch in town) when I spotted Pumpkin Ice Cream on the sign! Fall is almost here! This roadside ice cream stand/baseball card shop is located near the Nashua Road/Lakeview Avenue intersection. There are racks of snacks and candy bars, plus Red Sox bat pens near the outside takeout windows of Mike's Ice Cream Stand. There's also a baseball card shop inside the building. This stand offers hard ice cream (4 sizes of cones/cups), yogurts, sundaes, banana boats, popsicles, frappes, shakes, Richie's Italian Ice, energy drinks, hot dogs, and nachos. A Chili Dog was $1.49 plus tax and the Nestle Crunch Sundae ($4.50 plus tax) came with a free Red Sox pennant (offers in 09/2009). I got a Kiddie Cup (2 scoops) of Pumpkin Ice Cream ($2.65 plus tax). I enjoyed my dessert at a picnic table out front. The Pumpkin Ice Cream was really good and refreshing on a warm sunny September afternoon. The ice cream was cold and creamy with a smooth texture and good pumpkin flavors, cleansing the aftertaste of brunch food. HOURS (in 09/2009): Mon-Fri: 2PM-8:30PM; Sat-Sun: 12PM-8:30PM NOTE: They do not accept Entertainment book coupons.
