True, it's not the thick, juicy medium-rare burger Baby and I would get in a sit-down place but it's still damn good. And the fresh cut and cooked fries are always great too. (Just avoid the Cajun fries - they're overspiced and salty). Don't expect a wide menu - it's just burgers, fries, hot dogs, and soft drinks, nothing else (except for the free peanuts in the shell to munch on while you wait). Five Guys has the best burgers. The regular burger is a double. The singles are called little burgers. And the french fries. Two of us usually split a small because there are so many. And they are done in peanut oil as proper french fries should be. They also have vinegar for your fries. Bonus. We started coming here because the quality and service at the Charcoal Pit up the road was beginning to slip. The service at this Five Guys, while still good, isn't up to the service we've gotten at other Five Guys. But the food is still excellent. read more

Five Guys is quick, cheap, and delicious. No matter which one you go to, it's the same, which in their case is a good thing. The only thing I wish they had are milkshakes! I generally get the Little Cheeseburger and my husband gets a regular cheeseburger, which consists of 2 patties instead of 1. We spilt a regular fry, and that's more than enough food for us. I don't get too many toppings on my burger but it's nice to know most of the toppings (lettuce, tomato, A1, onion, grilled onions, etc) are free. Plus you can eat some delicious salted peanuts while you wait. read more

Lets just say that this place either needs.... (1) A bigger store, (2) More people, or (3) Turn off their delivery services or their online ordering, because they can not handle the work load. No sense of urgency, looks like complete mayhem behind the counter, people waiting over a half an hour to an hour for orders and I think there is just about as much food on the floor as there is on the grill. It was a mess behind the counter the other night until a young woman with a black hat and shirt came out of no where and started getting it done. Best burgers and handcut fries on Concord Pike, plus they give you a lot of extra fries in the bag. Keep the bag open if you order takeout so your fries won't get soggy. I usually go for two little bacon cheeseburgers as all the regular burgers are double patties and are just a bit too greasy for me. read more

No good customer service at all. I placed an order through their website and had it set for Delivery through their site and they use Doordash. I see the order says Delivered. I go searching for the order because no one can seem to tell me where my order is. It states to call 5 Guys but they tell me that this issue is Door Dash even though the order was done through 5 Guys website. Kevin from Door Dash had to call 5 Guys to tell them that the refund was their responsibility and that I had to call 5 Guys back. I called back on conference and Ronald (the manager) told me that I had to come in the restaurant for a refund back to the card. What a bunch of BULL$H*T! I received the runaround, he still doesn't know how to refund me and told me when he has time, he will call Corporate when he has time. I just visited the concord pike five guys and the atmosphere in that building is through the roof. Very friendly, genuine caring staff. The kept the line moving, I watched as they took care of every customer need without hesitation. They were working as a well oiled machine, everyone seemed on their game. I ordered a bacon cheese burger with onions and mayo, little fries and a soda. As always, this burger is phenomenal! Only reason I gave it a 4 star was because the fries are too greasy, had to throw most of them away. Anyone that loves five guys knows you get a million fries, I'm sure they'll be better next time. read more

Eat lunch here on occasion. Food and service are great. My only complaint is the music - ugh! A bit loud but that wouldn't be so bad if if the music wasn't hard rock.
